Looking for a meal the day before my total hip replacement, we landed at Noble Fox. For an afternoon meal, it hit the spot. I had the Sweet & Spicy Chicken Sandwich (crispy chicken, pepper honey, pickles, slaw, house aioli, burger bun) as well as some of the best seasoned fries I've ever had. Service was reasonable for the time of day we were there; the dining room was fairly empty at the time (middle of the afternoon) and we were able to quench our hunger satisfactorily. My kid and I came to Ashland last weekend and tried this place. I didn't get any pictures of the food my daughter and I ordered, but many others have. I ordered the BBQ Cheeseburger. So much flavor! The meat was tender and juicy, a down right magical mess of goodness! My adult daughter ordered the Salmon Buddha Bowl. She highly recommends this dish if you something healthy but lots of flavor! For drinks? Yes. Yummy, creative, and diverse. Food? Probably not. It was pretty on the plate, but disappointing on the palate. Our table had burgers and chicken sandwiches. All tasted very processed. Chicken was hard and the coating tasted like generic off the truck frozen tenders saturated in sugar. Yuck. I will add, the service was ok. Nothing exceptional. The food tasted good, but the service stood out as being particularly poor. It took us 10 minutes to get water, another 5-10 minutes to place our order and then 45-60 minutes to receive our food. We ordered sliders and a smash burger off of their happy hour menu. There was only two other couples at the restaurant while we were there. Not sure why it would have taken so long to receive our food. That being said, the patio was a pleasant place to wait, but unfortunately we ended up missing a previously scheduled event due to how long we had to wait. Hopefully this can be improved. read more

We stated off with a Classic Mule & a Cinnamon Girl Mocktail for drink and Bacon Wrapped Dates!! Then we ordered the Caribbean Chicken Bowl off the menu! The best part of the noble fox is the outside deck on a nice day. Great place to grab a beer or a whiskey. Deck is on the creek and is very nice. Food is okay, not great but not bad. I had a burger, wife had a chicken sandwich. I like the burger more than my wife liked the sandwich. They tried too hard with it. Service was only okay. Again, nothing great but nothing bad. There are other restaurants with decks on the creek which I have not tried. When we go back to silverton, we will try one of them. read more

Atmosphere: dark woods, great cocktails, candle topped tables...Enjoyed all the items, except the beef barley soup. The spring greens salad was fantastic. Had the French dip, which was a huge roll. The steak bites were good, fries were very good--crispy and bartered. The only thing I would've changed on that is to put the steak bites and the fries separate. I was surprised to find them on top of the fries, which made for some soggy fries underneath. The soup was pretty watery and didn't have a lot of vegetables in it, just some sparse ones. Seem like it was lacking a strong foundation. Kinda watery. I told the waitress and I didn't eat much of it but she just kind of shrugged. Other than that it was good. Service was really slow. The second drink took halfway through my meal to get, and there was only probably three or four parties in the whole restaurant mind you, this was a Wednesday early dinner at 3:45 or 4 PM). Took a long time in between seeing the waitress, for anything, including to get our drinks, food--just all of it. So don't go there when you're short on time. We ran quite a bit late to our get together. Not a quick meal. The drinks were very tasty. Quality. That about sums it up. read more

The food is fantastic. The service is NOT. I've eaten there three times, because the food is so good, but this is the last. It took forever to get a drink order in, and longer to get our order taken. When our waitress brought our party of 5 our water- she carried two at a time, and took three slow trips to drop off the water. we had to flag her down every time we needed something- sweetener, salt and pepper, another fork. She never checked on us. We ran out of water, iced tea, and sodas. It was NOT busy- she had time to read a newspaper.... very frustrating, because the food is so good! read more

While visiting Silverton we chose this place for lunch on our anniversary. The location is nice, right on the creek with patio seating. Things were going nicely until our food arrived. I had ordered the BLT with avocado added. My sandwich was loaded with the most undercooked bacon I've ever seen. Our waiter didn't come back to check on us until after we finished so I did my best to eat what I could but there was a huge pile of essentially raw bacon fat left on my plate and somehow my BLT had no tomatoes on it. Our server ended up taking it off our bill once he came back and saw how inedible my meal had been but honestly the only way for a kitchen to put out a sandwich like that is if they just don't give a damn. This place I have to give a full 5 stars! From the moment I walked in I was greeted with such warm welcome and the server was super accommodating. This place is dog friendly and I was able to get a patio seating with a pretty view. The food here was super tasty, and the server was very accommodating in regard to seating, making sure we weren't too cold, and making sure we had such a positive experience. So this place was a little expensive, not too bad, but really what isn't nowadays the food was quite good and the non-alcoholic drink my wife had was amazing. I did read some comments about overly salted brussels sprouts that were unbearable to eat. I did not find that to be the case, but it did seem that they were unevenly seasoned, and I did get at least one bite where I understood what people might be talking about when they said it's too salty to eat, but overall it was delicious. The steak was grass fed delicious well cooked good size portions. The potatoes deliciously popped in your mouth like juicy little balls, but yet still had a crispy crunchy texture in the crack of the potatoes. Well done very well done if I say so myself, the chicken sandwich was very nicely brought together with all the flavors nothing overbearing the pickles weren't too strong and very delicious blended into the flavor profile very beautifully wasn't fancy, but it was delicious. Plus the fries were pretty good too no complaints there overall. I definitely go back and recommend it to anyone else especially if you're going for cocktails. I feel that I missed out on not having a few cocktails, but the cocktail that my wife had was handcrafted and wonderfully amazing. Can't wait to go back in the summertime and sit out on their patio plus the service was good, very pleasant and not over attentive or lacking in attentiveness plus the bar is very old-school wood crafted and it's a very chill place very comfortable for casual drinks and a decent bite to eat and I can't wait to go back and have their charcuterie plate on the patio this summer with some amazing cocktails oh and I almost forgot the bacon wrap dates were absolutely to die for most amazing incredible thing I've had in years so delicious this was one of the best places I've eaten since moving out here to Molalla the best place I've had so far anywhere from Woodburn Aurora, Canby Molalla, Mount Angel, Silverton, Brooks, and probably a few other areas close to me. I've been to this establishment before. Great drinks. Luv the Smoky Manhattans. Service is usually good. But damn, if I go outside during a heatwave, at least ask if I want a water ( the bartender told me to pick a table when I asked if I could be outside with the creekside view). 7 minutes later and no service. And there were very few patrons there that day. Unacceptable. So, I left and am offering this review. This is for the owners: your staff needs to pay attention to its customers.
