A coworker told me to call Bear Electric cause they were "All Pro" about the way they did business. Been having doubts about "All Pro" guys in my area. So I called and Sam called me right back. wow. I explained what I needed and he came to my house a few minutes before we agreed to meet - again, WOW. Together we decided the best way to add a dedicated line to my garage and to clean up the prior owners electric do it yourself (dangerous) mess. He also showed me how to add more illumination at a very low cost. How does Sam do well while showing his clients how to do things cheaper? Beats me, He did the work right then - no be back appointments. He came to my place in a HUGE van so when it came time to do the work he already had all the parts needed to complete the job - no going to the hardware store to get parts. He did the work fast and neat and complete. And he's a real stickler for doing it to code....no shortcuts. when all was said and done it was done faster than I expected, cheaper than expected and he cleaned up after himself. Thank you Sam. Bear Electric attracted my attention because of their very high rating and number of ratings in Yelp. I spoke to Samuel for a quote. He wasn't the cheapest, but not the highest, his price was fair, and he inspired confidence. I know you usually get what you pay for. He offered service the same afternoon, but I wanted to continue checking my other contacts before committing. Sam is great! He called me within 5 minutes and was here the next day. I had a problem where part of my house would lose power only every once in a while and no circuits were tripped at the breaker. He crawled into my tiny ass attic and followed all the lines to make sure everything was ok. He ended up finding the problem in an improperly installed smart switch (thanks,dad). Thanks, Sam for the super prompt response and fix for my power! I needed my internet! ---Edit: sorry dad, not your fault. Power went back out. Sam came back over as soon as he could. Luckily the power was still out and he was able to diagnose. It ended up being the city lines coming into the house that was making me lose power. I didn't really know where to find a good, reasonable electrician so I looked online. I found Bear Electric on Yelp and I'm so happy I did. The owner Sam contacted me 10 minutes after I emailed them and setup an appointment for the very next day. He came out as scheduled and replaced some outlets for me and even did maintenance on my electrical panel for me free of charge. He was very reasonable on the outlet replacements, actually charged me half of what I had been quoted from another company. Overdue review! I had a bad outlet in bedroom that finally blew causing half of the house to be with out electric. I found Bear Electric and after reading reviews called and talked with Sam. He was in area and arrived in a very short time and diagnosed the problem promptly. The bedroom circuit overload caused direct start, back feeding to the panel. Sam replaced a breaker and completed panel maintenance check, also replaced the bad outlet and a few others he found to be unsafe. He is professional, honest and affordable.
