I actually really liked this place. The veggie pizza is PACKED with veggies. They don't hold back. The bbq chicken pizza is pretty good too. It wasn't as sweet as I like but still pretty good. But my favorite was actually just the plain cheese. It had an awesome flavor to it. I'd get that again for sure. At 7pm it was a 45 minute wait on a Saturday night. Not too bad. read more

I am so sorry owners; but the food is just TERRIBLE. The pizza crust tastes the cardboard the first night and leather the next day. The sauce is a disgusting paste, and they use cheddar cheese, with just a little mozzarella. we wouldn't have eaten it, if we weren't already back home and starving. We also got a spaghettI: it was in one of those 10" round tins and there was about 1/8" of dry, dry spaghetti covered with a sad thin layer of what might have been a mixture of mozerella. It had that same disgusting pasty sauce. Our 3rd dish was macaroni & cheese. How can anyone ruin that? They did! It as also in one of those 10" tins and there was barely 1/2 of Mac' cheese. They had put it in the tin, and then back in an oven and it was BURNED. Pulled up, walked in, and immediately super confused about the place. 1.5 hour wait after ordering is when our pizza would be ready. Man, we need a pizza while we wait for our pizza. That's crazy! I'd highly recommend the owners to rethink how to operate their business. There was no seating available - it's first come first serve, but the issue is that huge families take over the entire seating area. Terrible for patrons to find seating and enjoy their long awaited pizza. Lucky for us, we chose to take our business to the Firehouse Pizzaria and our minds were blown! You guys...bear lake pizza really isn't that good! But you better believe we come every dang time we are in Bear Lake! It's just tradition. We usually wait anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour but it's fun to walk around the gift shop and chat and hang out while we wait. The BBQ chicken is probably the best one! As soon as we received our food it all look pre-packaged, for starter our lettuce on the salad was old and brown. When we received our pasta you could tell it was microwaved because the pasta was all burnt to the tin bowl. Do not recommend eating here. read more

We ordered a 20" pizza to go on a late Saturday night. It was nice to have a place in bear lake that had a way to get takeout rather than wait in long lines like the other places. They get a star for that. The pizza is 2 star quality though. The sauce was OK but nothing special, to me it tasted like it came straight from a can, a cheap can I might add, and I was not a fan of the crust either. The bread sticks were good, they looked and tasted close to Olive Garden. I thought this place would be really busy but it was not (8pm Saturday night) so take that for what it is worth. It is nice that there is a chocolate shop next door so I grabbed some chocolate covered raspberries for dessert. Anyway the pizza is just OK. We went simple and ordered a cheese pizza. Although there aren't many restaurants near Bear Lake thankfully there's Bear Lake Pizza where you'll find some good pizza pies. This Mom and Pop restaurant has lots of seating inside and an old school feel with brightly colored red and blue booths and padded chairs. They also offer carry out if you'd prefer to take it with you. If you're feeding a family or a small army order the Old Ephraim -- it's 28 inches in diameter and has 20 slices of cheesy deliciousness! For $50 it's not cheap but it's A LOT of pizza for your bucks so you'd better be hungry! The pizza from Bear Lake Pizza has a good crust, good sauce and good toppings. Their cheese sticks and marinara sauce are also good. I'm really surprised by some of the negative reviews because the pizza we had was great. read more

Very very cheesy pizza! This is a Bear Lake staple. Pizza is priced somewhat high (starting around $6 for an individual size pizza, then around $16 for a small family size pizza). Toppings list is typical and salad bar is pretty typical. I had to pull off at least half the cheese from my pizza. Crust is pretty soft and good but definitely lacks the seasoning that a lot of pizza crusts have these days. Service is friendly and we got a few friendly check-ins during our meal. read more

We have tried this place several times when we go to bear lake and there is always at least 1.5 hour wait, they always have terrible costumer service, and the last time we tried tried to order take out we call in and he early afternoon and were told they had too many orders and couldn't take anymore. I had promised my grandsons a evening on the lake with pizza and raspberry shakes. I bought an 28" pizza with four different types of pizza. We all 12 of us had our mouths set... I have never been so disappointed in my life. There was no taste it was blaaa, doughy and very disappointing. No flavors in the sauce, no spices, the meat didn't have any taste. ‍ I spent $82 on the pizza. Next time I'll go buy frozen pizzas, they've have got to be better than this pizza. Messed up order. When asked about it, Owner insisted it was made right - it's not. Would not accept that I was unhappy. No Italian dressing for salads, owner told me the oriental teriyaki dressing is the same. Definitely not. Said nobody has requested Italian dressing in any of his 3 restaurants in 15 years. Walked away from me as I asked what his resolution would be. Asked if he has a Yelp because I'd be on it, told me he has so many positive reviews and feedback elsewhere that Yelp doesn't matter. I've been coming to Bear Lake Pizza for over a decade. Thanks to the owner himself, I will not return, ever. Here's a tip to the owner - if you don't care about your customers we won't care about you. There are two more DELICIOUS pizza places within 5 minutes of here who will graciously take care of simple requests like extra pizza sauce. Oh - and they'll have Italian dressing. read more

8 of us visited Bear Lake Pizza on a weekday in the summer. We were there to order the Old Ephraim. It was moderately busy, but we found a place for all of us to sit. We ordered a veggie pizza and an the 28" pizza. The pizza was pretty good overall. We had them do different types of pizza on each quarter of the big pizza and they did a nice job keeping the toppings and sauces separate. I thought their veggie pizza was better than average. We stopped here for dinner tonight and although the power was out, they still provided excellent customer service. It started to get extremely packed and yet all the employees did everything they could to make everyone's dinner a great one. They even brought a fan out to make sure it was cool enough. Ok. I have a rule with Yelp. If you are going to eat at a restaurant where there are $$$$ or even $$$. Or even $$, it NEEDS to be 4 Stars or higher. This pizza was the most bland and mediocre I've ever had in my life, especially for the price. We were in a large group and ordered 4 of the Big Ephram pizzas. All 4 flavors had little to no taste at all. The cheese looked and tasted undercooked. If I were to say would this pizza was as good as Little Caesar's or Pizza Pie Cafe, I'd be lying. Those two options are a ton better as far as taste and price. They either need to lower the price or get some better tasting pizza. On the plus side, the raspberry shake was ok. Not only was it a long wait but they made it "to go" when we were sitting right there and they never called us or brought it to our table, where we had our number displayed. We went up to check after waiting over an hour and finishing our salad bar (one trip please) eaten out of paper bowls. So who knows how much longer the pizza sat there than it needed to? They don't open on Sundays but they made an exception for the holiday. We ordered 2 sandwiches, a hot ham and cheese and a chicken bacon ranch. I'm currently sitting here waiting for TWO sandwiches. It's been 53 minutes and still no sign. After asking the girl at the counter if the sandwiches were almost ready she told us she wasn't sure what happened but she'd figure it out. 5 minutes later the owner comes out and tells us our sandwiches got sent to the wrong table but they were being made right now. We have been sitting next to the kitchen and not a single sandwich has come out. About 5 minutes after that the girl who we originally asked comes out and says our ticket never made it to the back and it'll be an extra 10-15 minutes. So either the owner is lying or the employee is lying. When we ask the girl if we can just get a refund she calls the owner and he tries to be argumentative, when I tell him that either he's lying or that his employee is lying and I just want a refund, he finally decides to give us our money back. Two sandwiches shouldn't take more than 5-10 minutes to make. read more

Went here with some friends because it was the only place open besides Cafe Sabor. Went in wanting pizza but saw the prices and decided to try something else. Even the pastas were over priced at $14 with a drink. When paying for the meal where you order, while swiping my card they asked if I wanted to tip because they will be busing our tables when we finish. When it came out it was all served on a paper plate! To make things worse it was cold and bland. I had to use the salt shaker three times to give it any flavor. The chicken tasted like canned chicken that you buy at the store. Then someone else with us got their overly priced cheese pizza 16" for $14. It was super bland and had no flavor. We ate maybe 2 slices and were done. I will never be back to this place. Worst experience I've had at a restaurant. Super expensive and super bland food. We took two families of 6 here for dinner and ordered the Old Ephraim for all of us. It is decent pizza, but nothing to write home about. The employees taking orders were 4 teenage girls, with the typical attitude you'd expect. They have a salad bar which actually seemed like fresh cut lettuce as opposed to pre packaged stuff so that was a positive. Food was quick to come out which is always good when you have 8 kids. My kids' favorite part of the meal was the breadsticks so maybe try those out. read more
