We stopped in to summit pizza around 3:45pm and were the only ones there at the time we asked the workers how long 4 small 8" pizzas would be and they said 10-15 minutes. We ordered our pizzas and sat down and 45 minutes later we asked them how much longer it would be and they said our pizzas were sitting on the warmer for awhile and they didn't let us know or call our names. We are staying at Rendezvous Beach for a couple days and this place was recommended by the cute girls working at the rental office there. The pizza was delicious! Been going up to Bear Lake my entire life. If we went for pizza we'd always go to the oldest established pizza place and it was good, nothing spectacular, unless you want a giant pizza. And often a long wait. But not a bad experience. But today we decided to try something new for us and decided on Summit Pizza. We were pleasantly surprised and Summit didn't disappoint. They have a thinner crust pizza with good flavor. We ordered the Dan's request pizza, pepperoni pizza, a personal sized Canadian bacon pineapple pizza and jalapeño doodles garlic knots. Okay. First off this place is BUSY on Saturday evenings. I should've known when the lines for most places in bear lake wrapped around their buildings but after a day on water, you have to eat! the wait was 50 mins but we sat outside at the tables and got shakes from next door to wait. In the end, the pizza was delicious. I love this style of pizza with crispy crust and thin pizza with good size pepperonis and fresh basil! They did forget the fresh basil at first but quickly added it. They also left off pineapples on my friends pizza and made them a new one very quickly and let them keep the other one. That's a nice gesture considering the wait for the pizza. I also loved their cheese doodles and their homemade ranch! Highly recommend getting all of this when you go and ordering ahead if possible! read more

Summit Pizza Co is absolutely worth a try! Their cheese doodles are everything I love, wrapped into one little ball of heaven. The garlic flavor is definitely prevalent and these are equally as delicious whether you dip them in marinara or ranch. Their ranch is great. Definitely not your average salad dressing ranch. An absolute must if you enjoy ranch as much as I do. Their pizza was standard but tasty. Nothing spectacular, but satisfying nonetheless. We honestly enjoyed the doodles and dessert the most. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Summit has dole whip on their menu! It was delicious and just like I remember from the Tiki Room at Disneyland. I was already a big fan of Summit Pizza from their location in Kamas so was excited to see them join the Bear Lake food offerings. The pizza is great whether you just want cheese, meat lovers or any other from their specialty menu. Dough knots are my favorite and the raspberry option was amazing in addition to their garlic cheese and cinnamon standards. We have tried dining in and take out and had good experiences with both options. If dining in, it gets busy so plan for some time and utilize the parking behind the building to avoid the traffic. read more

Not sure why this place gets such high ratings. We rely on ratings to help us pick where to eat when visiting a location. There is no where to eat indoors. It is really windy and hot today and they only have plastic tables outside for dining. They also do not offer any salads on their menu. The pizza was pretty good, so I'm guessing that's the reason for the ratings, but it was just one of our pizzas, the veggie. The large cheese we ordered was sadly overcooked and dry. I like to take in all things in consideration for a review, including dining experience and customer service. This place has great pizza. We have eaten at the one in Lehi. I got the meat lovers and it has plenty of toppings. Definitely get it. The noodles are good, when they are not under cooked. The reason for the lowest star was the service. We ordered shakes and the gal at the front asked if we wanted them later, and not with our pizza. Don't say yes. Your order will get lost. We have been waiting 25 extra for shakes. Yes it's busy, but when we reminded them the SECOND time she said, it's going to be another 15 minutes... They didn't hear me the first time and they have lots to make. We finally got 2.... And one more... Still waiting on another 10 mins later. My Oreo shake tastes like raspberries... If I wanted a raspberry and Oreo mixed shake, I would have ordered one. My wife ordered the cookie monster... That came 10 more mins after the shakes... Decent pizza with one possibly fatal flaw. I can't speak to the service because we ordered to-go. We tried four large pizzas: BBQ chicken, chicken bacon ranch, veggie lovers, meat lovers and several orders of garlic bread. First the good: Toppings were generous across all the pizzas. Sauce, cheese and toppings went nearly to the edge, leaving a satisfyingly small crust to snack on. The chicken was better than you'll find on most pizzas. Garlic bread wasn't much to look at (think pieces of thicker toast cut into halves), but was favorite item that went first. Size of their large met my expectations. Deal breaker? My biggest complaint was the pizza crust. The vehicle for delivering all the goodness into the mouth. It was dense, thick and tasteless. It reminded me of a frozen white dinner roll that had been rushed -- as if the dough wasn't given enough time to rise. My favorite was the chicken bacon ranch and meat lovers. read more
