Celebrating our anniversary! We typically have nothing but great things to say about our food at Le Nonne, but last night we were a bit disappointed. My husband got the salmon in a caper lemon sauce with a side of rosemary potatoes and asparagus. Unfortunately the salmon was way overcooked and the potatoes and vegetables were cold. Our waitress did bring new potatoes and vegetables but they were also cold. My husband ate the fish and we did let our server know. She apologized for the lesser quality. On the other side, my penne pera was phenomenal as was the calamari appetizer. We don't like leaving reviews that aren't positive, but the special was less than spectacular! Yes we will go back as we do love the ambiance and service...and typically the food is top notch. Fortunately Madi, our server was wonderful. We were in no hurry and had a few other things to do so we said yes. Brischetta was amazing, honestly my favorite of the three dishes we got The Chicken fettuccine was really good, but the broccoli was very over powering. The broccoli was actually the star of the dish when it should have been a supporting role. Next time I'lol ask to hold the broccoli The King Crab ravioli, I was told, was the most popular of the ravioli selections. That's what I got... whew was there a lot of sauce! I went here for an anniversary dinner last weekend and was very pleased. The experience started off rocky as we had to wait 20 minutes for our table despite making a reservation a month in advance. However, once we were seated and enjoying our meal our server, Yah, was very attentive and friendly. She explained the drink menu and the specials very well and was polite about any questions we had. The food was delicious. I had the Pollo funghi and the sauce was incredible. My boyfriend had one of the steaks, and while the flavor was there, it was a bit dry. However, he still enjoyed it. We ended the night with tiramisu and it was mouth watering to say the least. Loved the atmosphere on the patio as well, things were lively yet intimate. Taglati We took a short trip to Logan and saw this place. The ratings were good so we decided to give it a try. We had the Caesar salad which was good but the price was a bit high for what it was. The service was good and the place was cute and homey. It is in an old home that was converted to the restaurant. I ordered the Taglati and the wife had the fettuccine all polo. The Taglati was a new your steak with sun dried tomatoes. The steak was good and had a lot of Italian flavors. The wife said the pasta was very good but the cream sauce was too runny and lacked garlic. All in all it was a good dinner in a great atmosphere. read more

Absolutely delicious! Fancy. Live music, great staff. A classic hidden gem in Logan. The Penny Pereyra is their famous pasta with Gorgonzola sauce. The Tahna with the bread at the beginning is so delicious. We loved the special Beretta salad, which is sometimes there. The gnocchi with meat sauce. The stratiacceli for a low carb. Not bad, but not very good either. I left disappointed as it was super expensive for just a lot of pasta with almost no sauce and almost no meat. Something weird was a couple of the dishes were super spicy, so you couldn't really taste anything but hot. Though to expect good or great Italian food in Logan Utah would not be realistic. I would suggest the owners travel to Italy and go to a bunch of different restaurants there and try and just copy them. Also the atmosphere is super loud, typical in many restaurants where the owners don't consider their patrons would like to hear each other during a meal. I would suggest spending a few hundred dollars and getting some sound absorbing wall coverings to enhance the experience for the customers. Would I go back, no, why not, over priced, too loud, simply mediocre food. read more

My Fiancé and I found this little gem last night. We are very glad we did. The location is perfect, the restaurant itself was absolutely adorable. We were greeted by an amazingly friendly host, there was a little Bass & Saxophone duet playing incredible Jazz. The only Qualm I had was that I was we were next to a table of about 15 USU Basketball players so it was a bit loud. But, that is just par for the course for such a small restaurant. It was still an amazing atmosphere. The bread brought out with the Pesto was absolutely amazing. Weirdly enough, the best water I've ever had at a restaurant, ice cold and perfectly filtered. My Fiancé got the Bolognese and I got the Crab Ravioli, the Crab Ravioli and the cream sauce it came in were amazing... But the Bolognese was a perfect 10/10. Packed with Flavor, the pasta was light and delicious, and cooked to perfection. We ended with the Tiramisu which was the perfect ending to such an amazing meal. Not to go unrecognized, out service was outstanding as well. Everyone was incredibly attentive and kind. I don't know if I even want to review Le Nonne because it's our favorite hidden gem of Logan. But it deserves more recognition. It's our go to special occasion spot. I've never had a bad thing but our favorite is the sweet potato ravioli and the bruschetta. Fun tip, you can order tapenade to go if you love it as much as we do. Service is always good and quick and the atmosphere is intimate. The best is to go in the summer and sit outside when they have live music. Only downside is that you can almost never walk in, you should plan on getting a reservation. read more

We stood at the desk for a long time waiting to get a table. Service was OK, could've been so much better. We waited a long time to get our Pasta which leaked water coming out all over the plate. It was not as great as everyone said. We went for anniversary thinking this would be a nice memory. The view at the window was a tarp covering furniture or something out of season. We stopped in on a Friday night and had a wonderful experience. They had live music which was actually really good and perfect dining music. We started with bruschetta and the tomatoes were so fresh and delicious. I then had the gnocchi with bolognese sauce and my husband had ravioli with chicken and ricotta. Everything was delicious. Eleven of us went to La Nonne for dinner. We ordered a variety of appetizers and entrees, and everyone was happy with their choice. The lasagna won the biggest thumbs up. I ordered the Ravioli de Granchio, stuffed with real crab and ricotta cheese in a cream sauce. Delicious! My dessert was the chocolate mousse cake. Pretty rich, so I took part of it home. Others ordered the New York cheesecake and commented on how good it was. Loved the setting for our dinner. We were in a room to ourselves, around a huge table. In back of us was a fireplace with playful decorations on the mantelpiece. The restaurant is in an old house, and the lighting is warm and homey, without being so low you can't read the menu. A mobster from Chicago, who I met in a hot tub at the Hard Rock in Cabo México, told me his favorite Italian restaurant was in my backyard. He flies in once a year with his wife to eat here. Needless to say my expectations were really high. Most of the photos on Yelp are not very flattering. I hope I can even the score. Or maybe the locals don't want anyone to know how simplistically good this restaurant is. It was fantastic. I invited our daughter's family, just so I could taste more dishes. The service was perfect. The outdoor patio was perfect. The live music was perfect the food was perfect. I have no complaints. I wrote this review for a different app in 2012. Time to put it here. And an update- I took my dad and he loved it too! I have been to Italy. My dad is obsessed with cooking/eating Italian food. I have had A LOT of Italian food. And a lot of GOOD Italian food. But this is one of THE BEST! The chef is amazing. He is from Italy. I actually asked him to make my dish with a different type of pasta and waiter said he didn't know if they chef would be mad about that, so I told him not to bother. But he asked anyway and the chef gladly did it and wanted to know how I liked it. My mom and husband agree. It is one of the best. I can't wait to take my dad when he comes to visit. I also love the atmosphere. It is inside a cute little house, surrounded by other businesses in houses. read more
