    Dogs resting at the mid-point.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this experience and this company. I have to say I chose them because they are close to Park City and I didn't want to drive too far. But, when you get there you feel like you are a million miles away. They are a family-owned and operated company and it shows. They are kind, they care about their dogs, they are all super knowledgable. They live and breath dog racing and actually are all sled racers themselves. The dogs are amazing and, contrary to a review I read, they are all very well cared for and look amazing! The ride is fun and beautiful and just such a unique experience! I highly recommend!

We had an absolutely amazing & memorable time with Bear Ridge Adventures. Hands down the most memorable experience of our trip! From the accommodation (of 3 sleds/mushers/teams with 48 hours notice on Christmas Day) to the patience (2 people from our group showed up 10 minutes after our scheduled start time) to the kindness Kayla showed us and our kids (brought her pups in 1-by-1 for my kids to play with), we were beyond impressed and appreciative...and that's before we even took 1 step onto a sled!!! The entire experience, from beginning to end, was outstanding! Unlike many other tours & operators, Bear Ridge Adventures "starts the clock" only when you're actually sledding, not from the time of the short video tutorial or travel time to and from the starting point. The mushers were kind and informative. They shared so many interesting facts with our group, over the entire duration of the experience. The dogs were so sweet and cute (and hard working!). I would call this a "once-in-a-lifetime" experience, but after the fantastic experience we had, we will certainly make a point of coming back and sledding with Bear Ridge again! I HIGHLY recommend using Bear Ridge Adventures for this extraordinary experience! Everything is top notch! In fact, so much so, that my 7-year-old son, Noah, insisted on calling Kayla as we were driving to the airport, to thank her again!

We did an hour dog sledding tour with Ryan and we can't say enough positive things. We took our 3 girls, 13,11, and 8. It was the perfect amount of time and interaction. Ryan was an amazing, he gave us so much information and you could tell he was passionate about his job which made our experience even better. Highly recommend

I dare you to not get absolutely wrapped up in the cuteness!!

This was SO FUN AND SO CUTE. If you like dogs, adventures, and potentially bumpy rides... Do not hesitate to sign up to ride! I can't say enough good things, probably because I'm still drunk off the cuteness of getting to meet all the pups halfway through the ride and again at the end. They needed to get going right away when we arrived because they were so EXCITED. Lots of hopping, howling, ahROOOOOs, and chirpy barks-- beware of that volume if you're bringing a child or someone sensitive to loud noise. Our three year old was a little overwhelmed by the noise at first, but was offering the dogs hugs by the end! The hour-long ride is five miles, which is nothing for these energetic fluffs. They were bounding through the snow, stopping for occasional chomps for hydration, and seemed to be having an absolute blast. There is an element of kickback for those riding in the "basket" of the sled, so definitely be prepared with sunglasses or goggles and maybe your jacket zipped up so you can duck in to protect your face when needed. There are also BIG bumps at some points-- you will catch some air! The views are breathtaking and the mushers were all so friendly and knowledgeable. I hope the next time we are.in the area, we can bring a group of family so we have an excuse to go again!.

We had an amazing time. The dogs are well taken care of & the staff is very professional. This was the perfect afternoon off the slopes. Highly recommend.

Exciting tour with musher Ashley. Her love for the dogs is evident when she shares their personalities. We enjoyed laughs, views and the ride. Thank you Bear Ridge, it was a great morning.

Such a fun experience! we did the 1 hour with Lynette and Kayson who were both very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The dogs were great and let you love on them after the run. Only about 45 minutes from downtown SLC and 30 minutes from park city. Definitely something fun and different to do that will make for a memorable vacation.

A planned ski trip for Spring Break occurred during my daughter's 8th birthday. We couldn't think of a better birthday activity, given her love of dogs (especially huskies), then to take her dog sledding. After researching several companies, I settled on Bear Ridge Adventures. From scheduling to follow up to the actual dog sledding experience, I found them to be very professional. We did the 1-hour tour and really enjoyed. We did two sleds total for our family of four, and our musher was very knowledgeable and personable. If looking for a dog sledding experience while in Utah, you can be confident that you'll have a memorable time when booking with Bear Ridge Adventures. They work hard and their dogs do too.

Comparing ski resorts is ridiculous because nearly all of them are incredible, but Park City stands…read moreout for how complete the experience feels. The mountain is enormous, the skiing is excellent, and you are staying in an actual town rather than an isolated resort village. I have rented houses in Park City several times, and it has always worked exceptionally well as a home base for skiing Park City, Deer Valley, and Alta during the same trip. Beyond the skiing, Park City has a lively mountain town atmosphere that reminds me a little of Breckenridge or Steamboat. Historic Main Street is vibrant without feeling stuffy, with plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, and places to hang out after a long day outside. The direct connection between the mountain and town is especially cool, and the Town Lift makes the whole place feel unusually integrated rather than separated into a ski area and an unrelated downtown. Up on the mountain, the sheer size gives mixed groups an incredible amount of flexibility. Park City and the former Canyons terrain now form more than 7,000 acres, with long groomers, steep bowls, and plenty of areas where people can spread out without losing the ability to regroup. I do not remember every individual trail from my visits, but I remember the mountain feeling broad, varied, and substantial enough that you could ski for days without repeating the same routine. Another major advantage is the accessibility from Salt Lake City. You can fly into a major airport, reach Park City without an exhausting transfer, and use it as a central point for several of Utah's best ski areas. That convenience matters even more when you are coordinating a group, renting a house, planning dinners, and trying to balance skiing with everything else that makes a trip fun. During one visit, we ate at Robert Redford's restaurant, and I have family members who have attended Sundance several times. That cultural connection gives Park City an identity beyond the mountain, with a crowd that feels energetic, social, and interesting without taking itself too seriously. There is plenty for nonskiers to do, and the town still has life after the lifts stop spinning. Ultimately, Park City is one of those places that makes a ski trip easy to organize and difficult to leave. The snow, scale, town, and proximity to other Utah mountains create a combination that few destinations can match. I highly recommend it and hope to return soon, ideally with enough time to explore far more of the mountain than I managed on my earlier trips.

Of the 4 mountains I hit in the Hakuba Valley, the longest trail at best went on for 7-10 minutes depending if you're cruising or bombing from the top to bottom. Park City Mountain side of this resort from the highest blue trail down to the bottom, I feel, could clock a good 15 minutes bombing it, or 20+ just cruising down. Is it harder on my legs to do longer trails? Most likely. Do I spend less time on lifts? I didn't care to calculate the difference lol. I thing I know is that I love the feeling of gliding endlessly over the soft snow, and Park City Mountain gives me that feeling without having to stop for a lift every 3 or 4 minutes. Both of them are experienced riders - if nothing else I thought they'd enjoy the views and the fact that they were riding! It exceeded anything we imagined! We were in a group of 8. There was something for everyone! Our guide Steve made sure everyone was okay and having fun! We got on our snowmobiles, he gave us an overview of how to start them, gas and brakes, plus hand signals he'd use. Then away we went!! I was so nervous because I never really rode a lot and the last time I did was 15-20 years ago! It was a good warm up, open wide trail. I remembered how to do it I guess, like riding a bike! The ride was all up from there! The MOST beautiful mountains, snow, trees, terrain I've ever seen! No picture comes close to doing any area any justice!! At times we were on groomed trails and next would be an open powder fields. Twice during our 3 hr tour our guid told us our boundaries and set us loose! The boys were climbing huge hills and opening it up in the flats! They had so much fun! They both said they never thought they'd be able to ride Like they did!!!
