We were up in SLC visiting friends and wanted to do something new and fun and we found it! Absolutely a blast! Wear layers or take the easy route and just use their gear! They have everything you need! The machines are simple to drive- throttle, brake, and kill switch. Our guide (Beev), walked us through all of the safety protocol and instructions for the tour and we headed out pretty quickly. This is the ranch where the first three seasons of Yellowstone were filmed and you will see Rip's cabin and the one where Teeter was branded. The views on the way out for our two-hour tour were phenomenal! We arrived at a fenced meadow where we were given time to really open up the throttle and make some laps before taking a different route back to headquarters. The scenery was epic and our guide was really good about keeping everyone safe and together. He was also good about stopping to point out places of interest. We will be coming back for a longer tour next time. I had never ridden a snowmobile before and now I can't wait to do it again. I hope to get Beev again next trip! read more

A once in a lifetime happening - I will never forget!! It was absolutely gorgeous!! We went on a two hour snowmobiling adventure where I guess they filmed season 1-3 of Yellowstone! The views were something I'll never forget. Kenny was our guide and he was remarkable! We had an incident - he handled it with calm professionalism and care. This is an experience I will always remember. The views are just wow. Bring a go pro or 369 camera to mount on helmet. We were bummed we forgot ours and you definitely don't want your phone out a lot. Also, highly recommend renting their solid plastic ski boots - especially for kids. I am going to go 5 stars after my experience with the 3-hour tour today. I am not an experienced rider, but very experienced with other recreational vehicles. My wife booked the tour and I was concerned it was going to be boring and slow. We had a group of 8 sleds with 14 people. I'm not sure if we got lucky, but our group was totally on it. We had some folks faster than others, but it wasn't a hindrance at all. The opportunity to free ride was very enjoyable. Not as much leniency as I had hoped for, but these people are running a business, and they have a huge responsibility to keep people safe. Our guide gave me plenty of leniency once he understood my capabilities and we had an awesome time. If you really want to experience the tour, we would highly recommend the three hour experience. read more

Amazing experience at Park City Peaks Snowmobile! It's not too far from Park City, about 35 min drive. Definitely rent a car to get there, there's no lift or Uber to get back into town. After checking in , you go to the back room to pick your helmet and goggles. We preferred to bring our own goggles and gloves. There's plenty of seating room to wait for the beginning of your tour. They even have hot chocolate and instant coffee for you. This activity definitely exceeded all of our expectations and became a favorite among our group. None of us had experience with snowmobiles before but our guide Bill made us feel at ease. After a quick basic introduction to the snowmobile we slowly drove off to a giant snowfield where Bill left us to try out the snowmobile. Our group had about 5 snowmobiles. This is the time we got to get comfortable with the handling of the mobile. You could go as fast or as slow as you wanted during this time. It was fun to just drive around. You can also switch spot with the passenger during this time if you have a 2 person mobile. After the initial warm up, we all formed a line to follow Bill throughout the ranch. The surroundings are GORGEOUS! It was snowing the day we went which added to the beautiful scenery. There is a stop point in a yurt mid way for everyone to warm up and have a bathroom break. The last portion of the tour included a straight runway where we reached 62 MPH! It was our first time on a snowmobile, we had an amazing experience thanks to Bill and Park City Peaks Snowmobile! First let me begin by saying that the scenery and back country tour is pretty epic. However, there were some opportunities during the tour that would have really made it that much more memorable. We booked this snowmobiling tour for our out of town family who wanted some adventure. The tour was a 2 hour tour for two riders to share one snowmobile. We selected the 9am tour and received an email that said that we might be pushed back to 11 because we might not have enough riders. However, then it said to be there at 8:15 followed by more instructions at the end of the email that stated they would notify us prior to our tour on the decision. We did not get a call and or email so we opted to call to verify. Once verified we were confirmed for the 9 am tour. We arrived prior to the tour starting, and were outfitted with helmets. We brought our own ski gear (tip: goggles are a must) and so after this we waited to start. After a quick intro to our tour guide and the bikes, we began our tour at 9:20 am. The scenery was absolutely beautiful and you are given time in a flat field to test and practice using the equipment. After this we followed the tour guide through the trails and back country area. The issue we had was that our tour guide was also training a fellow employee so we had LOTS of stops where we just waited for him to explain to the other employee different parts of the trail, what to do during the tour, etc. While we could not hear what they said, it was the only thing we could surmise from there body language as we sat idling while we watched them interact. At one point on the trail, we waited for about 5 minutes for both employees to talk through a piece of equipment off the trail. Then after that we made our way back to the cabin where we started. The tour ended early and we were a bit surprised it was only a 1 1/2 hour long tour when we paid for two hours + the added inconvenience/wasted time of training someone during the tour. Overall, we recommend improving communication and making the tour more about the customer experience. With these suggestions we believe it will make it fantastic for future riders. read more

Not for the faint of heart! Exactly what we were looking for! Never thought I'd be going 50 mph on a snowmobile! Wanted this adventure for my husband and son more so than myself. Both of them are experienced riders - if nothing else I thought they'd enjoy the views and the fact that they were riding! It exceeded anything we imagined! We were in a group of 8. There was something for everyone! Our guide Steve made sure everyone was okay and having fun! We got on our snowmobiles, he gave us an overview of how to start them, gas and brakes, plus hand signals he'd use. Then away we went!! I was so nervous because I never really rode a lot and the last time I did was 15-20 years ago! It was a good warm up, open wide trail. I remembered how to do it I guess, like riding a bike! The ride was all up from there! The MOST beautiful mountains, snow, trees, terrain I've ever seen! No picture comes close to doing any area any justice!! At times we were on groomed trails and next would be an open powder fields. Twice during our 3 hr tour our guid told us our boundaries and set us loose! The boys were climbing huge hills and opening it up in the flats! They had so much fun! They both said they never thought they'd be able to ride Like they did!!! If u r an experienced rider don't be afraid that the tour will be just that, a tour! It can literally be as fast or slow as you want! Do it! It is so much fun!! read more

Took about an hour drive from SLC -They provide EVERYTHING. Literally. I had forgotten my ski jacket (oops) and they lended me one. This was such a fun experience. We are from Texas, we have never seen so much snow. This was one of the best vacation excursions we did while we were visiting Utah. We did the 2- hour ride tour and it was perfect. We did 1 double rider and switched off throughout the drive around the mountain and had so much fun. I'm a big guy, but my wife and I had plenty of room on the snowmobile. Braden was our tour guide and he was the nicest person. We were able to stop several times throughout the tour for pictures and videos so I could make TikToks. Great experience snowmobiling at Park city. It was our first time doing it. Initially somewhat nerve wracking and takes a bit of time getting used to the machine itself. Afterwards it was a lot of fun to ride along the backcountry paths esp while it was snowing. It does get quite bumpy along the way, especially if you're riding double. Better to wear gloves and not mittens. Also advisable to wear face mask. Bayou Dave was our guide and stopped multiple times along the way to make sure we were doing okay. He was awesome! You do go upto 10,000 ft and was fun to fly my drone up there. Lunch was Aok. They had turkey sandwiches, chips and candy. 3 hours went by pretty quickly. Overall definitely a memorable experience. Would recommend coming here if in Park city. Better to have 4 wheel or all wheel drive. Also good forearm workout by the end of the day. read more

Great fun for the whole family when the machinery works. Located about an hour drive from the Park City resorts, make sure to have the GPS mapped out before you return because there's very limited cell service in this remote area. Kids had a blast with the wide open spaces being able to drive the snowmobiles on their own, the only drawback was that the company didn't check the fuel gauge and we spent the last half hour being towed by the guide. The towing kicked up snow and ice that I had to dodge in the dark as we got towed back. If they're not checking fuel, what else aren't they checking? The guide told me not to worry, the company would provide a discount to make up for it, but when I asked at the office, no one knew what I was talking about. I'm sure the experience would have been perfect if we hadn't run out of fuel, hopefully others will have a better time. read more

The pre communication was great! Easy to follow directions and reminders It's far! I traveled from SLC it took about an hour but much of the drive was on back roads. If you are used to snow driving you will be fine. It's a little tricky when you get there but keep driving as it is well marked. When you arrive they have bathrooms outside which were actually pretty nice for an outhouse situation. People greeted me as soon as they saw me. I walked in and checked in at the desk. I already paid and did my waiver in advance. . I picked out a helmet and got some googles. While you can wear sunglasses you may want googles to protect from cold. Only problem: While waiting I overheard another guest ask their guide if they needed to wear (COVID-19)mask while riding. She stated she didn't believe in mask. Her guide said No and that he didn't wear mask either. My concern with these comments is that it's a controversial topic that the guide should not have engaged in this topic. Rather a no would have been fine. My guide was Beaver and nice man from Georgia who has children. He went over our safety and instructions quickly and efficiently. Before I knew it we were off! Up hill and through fresh powdery snow. The views were stunning! We went on through the ranch. He took us to a open field we're we got to let go!!! It was great to get some speed. Beaver took pictures for everyone through the trip. My favorite part was when we stopped and got pieces of history about the land. My family of 6 booked a 2 hour tour with Rob on December 17th at the 3:30 slot. We were visiting from Atlanta and drove out from Park City. The roads to Park City Peaks were great, and scenery beautiful. We arrived early so we could try on some boots for rent and sign our waivers. The lobby/rental area is huge, and they have anything you could need or may have forgotten. They have bathrooms available also. We got suited up with helmets, neck covers, goggles, double gloves and double socks. We rented 3 double seated snowmobiles. We headed out to the most beautiful trails and got acclimated to the vehicles. We enjoyed the open field where we got to race around and have some fun. The property is beautiful. Rob went out of his way to show us the beauty and kept a good eye on us. As the sun went down we caught a beautiful sunset too! Beware, the temps got quite a bit colder once the sun went down. We loved every minute of this tour and would come back in a heartbeat. Great operation! Thank you so much for guiding us! Tip: if you bring your own goggles for the 3:30, bring your clear lenses because it gets a bit dark in the evening and you will need your goggles the whole time. read more

Had a great time with the snowmobile 3-hour tour! There were 10 in our group and everyone had so much fun! Would definitely do this again. Paul our tour group leader was awesome. The company kept us well informed and made the process so much easier doing everything online ahead of time that way when you arrive all you have to do is checkin and choose your helmet. My only concern was being able to get to the location because it snowed the day before and since we were the first 3-hour group the roads were not plowed and were very icy. We had a 2-wheel drive and it was kinda scary dealing with the roads. My suggestion is leave earlier to compensate for the very slow speeds so you do not arrive late. The parking lot gets full and will be very packed with snow so be careful. Make sure to purchase your googled ahead of time because you will definitely need them because it was very cold with the wind. Take hand warmers for any passengers. Drivers the handlebars have heating capability that works well. Staff are very patient and you will enjoy trust me and the scenery is awesome!!! Our only issue was another family in our group had a few mishaps during the tour and kept delaying our tour. This prevented us from enjoying our cabin lunch. Not really sure how this could be resolved but that was our only complaint that was out of our guides control. Maybe have another available guide deal with them?? Enjoy and would love to return sometime in the future but but hopefully next time with a 4x4 just in case. read more

We booked 3 doubles for 6 girls over MLK weekend for a bachelorette party and we had the most amazing experience. We couldn't stop talking about our 2-hour tour with Kennie. We opted for the 3:30pm reservation and it was perfect because we caught the most beautiful sunset on the way down the mountain. We had so much fun and felt very safe with Kennie as our guide. He was very experienced and attentive to the whole group. On top of that, he's really good at taking pictures and will take lots of photos/videos to make sure he captures great shots for you. They have plenty of helmets you can rent without additional costs but I would recommend bringing your own helmet if you're germaphobe like me. There are also a lot of opportunities to switch drivers if you book the two-rider snowmobile. The mountain is beautiful and well maintained. I highly recommend this experience. read more

Our guide, Don was great. Good guy all around. Was (and I dont know if this is a Utah thing because it happened with the Skycap) a little strange to get upfront the clear message 'I am working for a tip'- but Don was much cooler than that initial exchange... I rode with my daughter. She is 23. She hit a tree. At this point: who cares right? was it high speed, low. whatever. Yes. She HIT a tree. Truth is it was very low speed- but who cares. What happens next is what I really hated. Don (again beyond the tip thing was awesome) rode back and got another snowmobile. Why? I dunno. Our started up and the apparent only problem was the bumper and plastic. I thought that weird, but oh well. We do the tour. Was fun, epic. Get back. Now... instead of addressing just me, or my daughter, it's to our whole family "well sorry to be Debbie Downer, but we have some damage that needs to be paid for". Ok. Address ME. The damage was $90. Now If he told me $900 , ok. If he told me $9000, ok (sad but ok). Nope: $90. Ok... So we put back our stuff and now I get a "sheepish" Don... Coming to me and saying "A mechanic looked it over. You actually have to pay $300". BTW: Don himself makes this worse by saying ' the bumper wasn't installed on the machine' and whatever else... How did he know the bumper- if installed and working properly- would have simply worked? Lies? Ok (it gets worse). So $300. Let me pay and be done. No. Somehow their machine is down. Wait. No- just pay the $90 and we are good we get told. Daughter gives them Credit Card and we believe we are done and paid and on our way home. - still having had an epic time. So about 4 hrs later I get a call from them. Manager? I have his cell phone but I forgot his name. I owe $800 for damages. Wait. What the heck? I lose it. Wait- so what if it's next week and now it's $8000? Did anyone ride that same snowmobile AFTER me? It was functional. Manage tells me about the sound of the machine- how horrible it was. Wait- I turned it on myself. It sounded normal. I am mad. This is highly unprofessional. Highly suspect and honestly the worst is when he implies I am somehow not informed- that Don isn't even an employee (said this) and no Mechanic looked at it (So somewhere in there is a lie)... Wow. I am not wealthy. I proceed to give the guy my credit card i know will work and float me until the next paycheck. LOL wouldn't you know it. Somehow , unauthorized, they charged the card I booked with. BTW: I have TXT evidence of what card I gave him. JUST WATCH YOURSELF... They are running a tip shop and are too busy to care about treating people right. If you have troubles. Stay until they are rectified. read more

Highlight of our trip!! This was such a fun and exhilarating tour. Make sure you wear a face mask, gloves, and goggles!! We made the mistake to just wear sunglasses and definitely felt the cold. Even with thick gloves you can still feel the cold. Thank goodness for the hand warmers on the snowmobiles. Also please REMEMBER TO CONTINUE 12 MILES AFTER YOU ARRIVE AT 900 Weber address. I completely over read that part and we were about 15 min late. Thankfully they had one of the guides catch us up to our group.
