This place is wonderful! I have a friend who is an artist/photographer who sent us some exceptional prints. I wanted to have it matted and framed, and I needed it done to perfection - this was going into my office, where constituents, colleagues, stakeholders, etc., would be coming and going. I wanted the framing to be as exceptional as the prints themselves. I walked in, and the sales associate there was very pleasant! She took her time (spent over an hour with me) and laid out various matting and framing options. She insisted we think about the wall color that I would be hanging these from, she said that will matter. I did not even think about that, and I am so glad we took this into account! Great quality, but minus stars for being unnecessarily overpriced, and the employees (non-owner) are not nearly as knowledgeable as the owner/manager. Also, when I went to pick up my order there was some debris behind the glass. They noticed and fixed it, but I had to come back again the next day and it's a bit out of the way for me. read more

In addition, the manager at this store is not indiscriminate in his offers of "special pricing" to certain customers. And wow, don't expect the manager of this store to be pleased if you use a "groupon" to receive a discount. Kindness goes a long way, and I wouldn't expect to find any at this store. I went into the shop yesterday wanting to get a picture set in a frame I already had. It needed to be secured and wire installed so I'd be able to hang it. I took two posters, frames, foam board and UV protected plexiglass to this frame shop to be mounted. I would have and could have done it myself but my framing equipment (mat cutter, staplers and tape) were at our house in Arizona. All I needed them to do was put the plexiglas (precut to correct size) enlarged photos of my son-in-law (who passed away 3 weeks prior) (precut to correct size), foam-board (precut to correct size) into the premade frames and staple that altogether. $208. YGBSM! I knew there was a reason I hadn't been back there in about 15 years----THEY ARE A RIP-OFF! I took the materials to Michaels in Janzen Beach and had it done for $54----and it came out beautiful! No stars----I would take stars away if I could.. read more
