They lost a print of which only about 100 were made. I had a second one and said they wouldn't have to reimburse me for print that they lost. I only asked that they pay for shipping both ways ( I relocated), use a basic frame and the museum glass. I said just do that and you don't have to pay me for the print. They made me pay for shipping the print to them, the glass that came with the frame is not museum glass, the frame itself was damaged, the print also came damaged (has some residue from when they mounted it and scuff marks, so, now I have to take it to a local shop to get it repaired. On top of that I had to keep calling them to send me the print. It cost an arm and a leg to have them pay for shipping it to me. read more

Went to JPs on Thursday and purchased s beautiful Kemetic figurine -- I wanted to figure out how to stand it in my car -- the woman there said "let's try this " - she took strong pieces of Velcro and attached it to the small stature and made it so simple to place it in my car -solidly -- this is customer service -she did not have to go beyond selling the figurine -- I also had some pictures framed there very well in the past -- read more

I was initially referred to JP's by another framing shop when I needed advice about restoring and framing an old document. While JP could not do the work himself, he was free with his time in evaluating the document and suggesting who might be able to do the restoration. A few months later, I took in a print of a Renaissance painting to be framed. JP spent a lot of time working with me to find the appropriate frame.
