My kids and I love this new ice cream place! Pick your ice cream flavor and animal and they make it for you -- that's it! Definitely family friendly and parking available right in front!

This shop is all about the presentation! The ice cream is shaped like little bears and it's adorable. Kids would absolutely love it, and it's a really fun spot to visit in Niles. The staff was nice and the shop felt welcoming.

    So yummy!

I think regular was about $6.75 or something. I tried a few different flavors, but my favorite is usually the tart/original, and that's what I got today. The staff was nice and patient as I tried different flavors and chose my toppings.

Yesterday was the first or second 70 degree day of 2026, so the weather was perfect and the seasonal re-opening of the DQ a mile away was to our advantage because the crowd was a bit quieter here and we were able to find a street spot. I think my daughter was overwhelmed when we walked in; there are lots of choices. She could barely contain herself, but I guess that's to be expected of a two year old. I got her a kiddie scoop of decadent chocolate, which she liked but may have been a bit too chocolatey for her. Or maybe she just wanted to taste a bit of mine and was done with the chocolate. I got a single scoop of the caramel ice cream. I'm not really sure if the sizes were different or if it was the size of the cup because they seemed the same. Both ice creams were so flavorful, really rich. It's a dangerous place to stop that's for sure. But next time I'm getting a scoop of each! As with almost all the South Park businesses, there's no dedicated parking. You'll look for street parking. South Park is across the street so I imagine some days at the wading pool with a stop for ice cream afterward are in our future. There's seating both in and outside; we sat outside and it was really pleasant. They have pre-portioned ice cream in a cooler inside as well as ice cream cakes, and a water dispenser as well. They have a little cart that I've seen at various functions around town as well, if you're out and about and happen upon them. You can also rent the cart for your own event! The staff were helpful, the store was neat and tidy. This is a wonderful small business in Park Ridge and we're so lucky to have them here!

After our first two stops were a bust because there was just too many people to bother, we stopped at Kilwins and it was much more reasonable. They had a nice variety of ice cream and we ended up with one for each of us. The toddler chose blueberry waffle because she wanted the pink ice cream. She seemed to like it quite a lot because she ate almost all of her kid's scoop. The second was the Hodges Park Mud, which I chose for myself, and which was quite good; it was vanilla ice cream with caramel and small pieces of chocolate. And I got a half and half of vanilla and toasted coconut for my significant other. Yummy yummy all around! The employees were helpful and she gave me a punch card to get an ice cream free after nine, I think. It's Uptown Park Ridge so parking can look full, but there is plenty of parking around.

When you walk inside there is a runner leading up to the counter with their case of delicious looking eats and a platform above with an old Indian motorcycle perched looking over the place. To the right of the counter are some toys for the kids, including a kids motorcycle and other funs toys to keep the kiddos busy while their parents enjoy a magically concocted coffee drink by the shops artisans.
