The decor was really fun and animals and lights every where, very attention getting. There's also a lot of seating outside and even parking on the street and the side of the building. In terms of ice cream and price? Pretty good! I got a shake and you can get a shake of any flavor. I got the espresso ice cream in a shake and my wife got a kids cup size of the vegan ultimate Oreo with a sugar cone. OH Importantly, they have a good amount of vegan options! Listen, this place is very friendly especially when it comes to samples. We were offered many flavors to try and offered brownies 3 times. I'm not complaining but it's really going above and beyond and we are here for it. Now it's really overstimulating as we were in need for some chill and this is not the spot. If we had some mushrooms, this place would be ideal but not for a Sunday @ 3pm. I believe I had a Rocky Road Shake. It was good and very creamy! It was great. My wife had 2 scoops - one of which was Mint Chocolate Chip. While I don't remember the exact price, I do remember thinking this was a lot for a shake and 2 scoops of ice cream. Maybe it was pricey to offset the samples and brownie distribution? Who knows. I was sent here by Son and Daughter in law. I love ice cream, and they said I should try this place. To say it "over the top" is an understatement. Decor is total overkill, but don't well. Staff is so friendly it's fun. They gave us so many samples, we almost didn't know what we wanted, (just kidding), we knew. They have so many options, and all look amazing. This has always been a fun place to visit, the ice-cream is quite good and the shoppe is very generous with allowing you to sample to find the flavor that you like the most. You do need physical cash to buy here; luckily if you need it, there is an ATM near the entrance. My only complaint is that the music playing, while fun and fitting, is very loud and it makes ordering a little difficult when you gotta talk or listen. This is by far the coolest Chocolate Shoppe I've ever been in, and growing up in the midwest I've been to several. The murals and decorations are epic. Did I transport into a new Meow Wolf location??? This place is truly a gem. Everything is a curated installation art piece. I highly commend the creative genius behind this place. Their staff are absolutely the sweetest, handing out samples right as you walk in. The music selection was impressive and I caught myself writing down tracks to listen to later. Oh right, I forgot that there's ice cream! The ice cream selection is large with unique flavors, cones, bowls and sundaes to choose from. Also had indoor seating, easy street parking with a lot on the side of the building. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with somebody offering us a sample of a brownie, which tasted delicious. There was a small at the counter to order, but as I was looking at the flavors the order taker with curly hair, assisted me and offered me a sample of Rocky road. While this place is really cool and has good ice cream I was very turned off by the owners attitude. He stood there with a mean look on his face which really was off putting. The new girl made our sundae and the owner took it from her scooped out some of the ice cream put it back and threw some of the whipped cream out. Could he have just told her it was too much? I drove 50 minutes through traffic on the Kennedy expressway to get to this place. My daughter and her friend were absolutely delighted to finally make it to this place. If you're a fan of rich chocolate ice cream, the Zanzibar Chocolate here is so good I forgot to take a picture before starting to eat it. The bit of green was from the Pistachio Nut. That was okay. I've had better Pistachio ice cream elsewhere. My wife had the vegan chocolate chip oatmeal cookie which was delicious and very much tasted like an oatmeal cookie. Service was great and we were given a free bite size brownie and offered ice water while we sat on the Adirondack chairs outside. Quite the interior decorations and paintings.
