We recently had a combined birthday at Beat the Bomb. None of our party had ever participated in this interactive experience, and we had a great time There is a fully stocked bar with cocktails, beer, wine, seltzers and frozen concoctions, and other drinks. They also have a menu with food. They have some other game lanes in the lobby you can play while you wait for your session to begin We split up int 2 teams. A team can have between 2-6 people on it (ours had 5). You first choose if you want to do the paint bomb ending or slime (there might be one other option). From there you proceed to 4 interactive game rooms In each interactive game room you have to complete puzzles and objectives. It's more like an interactive live action video game with friends than an escape room. Depending on how fast you meet the objectives you will have time added to your end game where you have to beat the bomb. I'll explain this more in a bit You can wear whatever closes you want (street clothes), but there is some running around, jumping, ducking, and in my case sweating. After the interactive rooms you will get full white hazmat suits (with hoods) and goggles. The suit covers your shoes so you shouldn't really get much anything on you. In this room you are working together to pilot a virtual vehicle that is rolling around and neutralizing bombs. Each member will get a bubble control that you'll squeeze to either go right, go left, got forward, aim, shoot, etc. if you have less than 6 people one person might have multiple responsibilities. This section is timed. If you don't meet the objective in the allotted time you will be slimed or sprayed with paint. We did the paint bomb, we beat it, but we still opted to be sprayed with paint (for the experience). This part is on full display form the lobby Some tips: When you're done at Beat the Bomb you can drive over (or walk) to Saint Arnold's Brewing Company for great beer, food, and merriment. You can also visit Meow Wolf which is located right next door They have bundles where if you have an event you could save up to 40%. This could be a fun party or team bonding activity There is plenty of parking in their parking lot (shared with Meow Wolf), but it is a paid parking lot Cheers!! read more

Came here after visiting the MW experience next door. Honestly, I wish we had started here. Because it was late and we didn't have a reservation, we didn't get to compete, but we sat and had cocktails and mocktails while we listened to the DJ and watched other people attempt to beat the bomb. While there I noticed they have specials on food and drinks for NFL game days. Hopefully they will do the same for the NBA. Can't wait to go back with a group of smarty pants to try our hand at beating the bomb. But it was a fun hang even if you don't want to play the game. read more

I wasn't sure what to expect from this family outing, but boy oh boy where we in from one of the best surprises! From ages 25 to 51, everyone in my party enjoyed this experience. I will say that had we known it would be a wait we would've arrived earlier because although our reservation was set for 4:20 PM, we checked in at 4:05 and we still wasn't able to start our experience until 4:55 PM and didn't finish until about 6:30, so it is more of a time commitment than it appears on paper. I think the developers did a great job of mixing up the activities so that there's a little bit of physical as well as mental challenge. All of the associates were extremely welcoming. My sister said that her drink at the bar was more sugary than alcohol tasting, which doesn't come at a surprise. There seems to be something here that everyone in the family can enjoy. There were many birthdays being hosted. I almost felt like I was at a Chuck E. Cheese mixed with a Ninja Warrior competition, but the crowds were well maintained. I can't say that I would return just to get painted again since the challenges would be the same, but if I wanted to get foam or slimed, apparently there are different activities that you could partake in. I love that they give you your stats at the end, too. Small notes -- the final challenge could be better explained and the water to rinse off the paint suit was uncomfortably cold! read more

Holy Moly this was so fun!! Beat the Bomb is a brand new, super fun, immersive experience. Players complete a series of games/challenges to win extra time to dismantle the bomb. After completing these challenges, players are prompted to change into protective gear and step into the bomb room. There, players will begin the challenge attempting to dismantle the bomb using the time they've won in previous challenges. Complete the Challange successfully to dismantle the bomb. Fail and get SLIMED. A run though of the whole course took my team about an hour and half, but it felt way shorter than that. The course was reasonably challenging while leaving plently of room for fun. The challenges will test your teamwork, communication skills, memory, speed, and agility. That being said - make sure to wear clothes you can move in, don't mind sweating through, and possibly staining. I wore a white shirt and shoes, and luckily didn't get them stained, but I'd def wear something less risky next time. Although our designated start time was 4pm, we didn't actually start the course until 4:30. Luckily there was a waiting area with tables and a bar. We opted to sit at the bar and cash the free drinks that we got with our VIP package. The drinks were pretty darn good! Another perk of the VIP package was that we get all photos and videos, plus a shirt included with our visit. Overall this was such a fun activity. Its like if an Escape Room and Activate had a baby lol. Great for noth adults and kids. Highly reccomend. read more

Our office booked Beat the Bomb as part of our Christmas party and we had a lot of fun! We selected Beat the Bomb but there are other game types available so make sure to check out all the options on their website. For our experience, we were divided into teams of 4 and worked our way through 4 or so different game rooms with different challenges. One room had lasers crisscrossing the room and we had to make our way through the increasingly harder patterns to reach the other side without hitting a beam. Another room had sensors on the floor that tracked where we were standing and told us to move to certain spots in the room at a faster and faster pace. Another room had dozens of small screens with instructions for dials and knobs on other screens, so you had to work together to convey info to get everything accomplished. Once you're done with all the challenge rooms, your score is the time you have to Beat the Bomb. They dress you up in plastic suits and throw you into a final challenge room where you have to steer a tank as a team through a maze and hit all the targets before the countdown runs out. If you don't get it done in time, you get blasted with paint. We beat the bomb but still opted for the pain blast for the fun of it. If you're looking for a team building event, or have a fun group that like a competitive challenge, this is a great option. If you're thinking of a kid's birthday, make sure they can read confidently since almost all instructions are in text, otherwise would be perfect for that as well. read more

We had an amazing time having our teams holiday gathering here. Everyone enjoyed the games and team building. The staff is great at explaining the expectations and getting us hyped up. I definitely enjoyed the different rooms. It was much better than an escape room which I'm terrible at. There was just so much you could do even if you weren't doing the rooms. They have lots of games. They have a full bar, food, clean bathrooms and lockers for you to store your stuff in. I think this is a great teambuilding or a family activity for an activity, but they must try once at least. I highly recommend. read more

Thank you BTB! Original Review 10/29/2025: Beat the Bomb is a fun, interactive video game experience that fully immerses you and your teammates in gameplay! They have three standard options that you can select from throughout the year - paint, slime, and foam; they also have seasonal experiences like the "Haunted Mission" for Halloween. My team and I have "beat the bomb" twice! First, we diffused the paint bomb, then we went back to try our hand at the "haunted mission." Each experience is ~50 minutes long. You and your team travel through different rooms. In each room you receive instructions for a game. You then have 10 minutes to complete the game. Your score determines how much time you will have to beat the bomb in the final round of gameplay. Each game is different, challenging in its own way, and a ton of fun! Expect to leave Beat the Bomb a little sweaty because some of the games get a bit physical (aka. The lasers!). During the last game, your goal is to diffuse the bomb. You gear up in hazmat suits and are provided either a face shield or goggles. If you are unsuccessful at beating the bomb, you get blasted with either paint, foam, or slime depending on what experience you chose. If you do beat the bomb, you get to choose whether you are blasted (which, let's be real, who doesn't want to get blasted?!) Winners receive a collectible pin specific to each game as reward for beating the bomb! The staff were very helpful and nice during both our visits. I would have given Beat the Bomb a 5 star review based on my first visit; however, there were a few snafus during our 2nd experience. During our 2nd visit, it seemed like the lasers during the laser challenge were not very bright; they were difficult to see which made playing the game much harder. Also, during our 2nd visit, one of our friends was cut out of all of the pictures that are taken at the end of the experience, even though she was within the view of the camera lens. Overall, Beat the Bomb is a fun, unique experience that's enjoyable to do with a group of friends. I definitely plan to return to complete the last two missions - slime and foam! Things to consider: 1. Wear long pants! Some of the games may have you getting down on the floor. Protect those knees from carpet burn! 2. Parking is only free if you are in the lot for less than 1hour. Since Beat the Bomb asks that you arrive 15 minutes early and the experience lasts 50 minutes, you will be there longer than an hour. 3. It's cold inside the restaurant/bar area, but it gets hot when you are playing the games! read more

We did this as a birthday celebration, and it was an absolute blast! The challenge had us advancing through four different rooms, working together to earn enough time to disarm the bomb. Each room was packed with excitement and had us laughing, cheering, and even playfully yelling at each other as we raced against the clock. We came so close to stopping the bomb, but since we lost, we got blasted with slime, which only made the experience even more hilarious and memorable. Really disappointing experience at Beat The Bomb. After already having issues getting a reservation booked, we arrived at 9:22 PM -- only 7 minutes past the reservation window because our dinner ran long nearby. The place was nearly empty with maybe 5 or 6 guests total, and the manager even confirmed there wasn't a 9:30 reservation after us. We politely asked if we could just take that slot instead and were still turned away with zero effort to help. What made it worse was the attitude from management. There was no flexibility, no customer service, and honestly no care at all about the situation. Their website states they close at 11 PM, yet we were told they were already shutting things down early. For a place that markets itself as a fun group experience, the customer experience was anything but fun. We drove out, paid a deposit, and were denied over being just a few minutes late despite the venue being practically empty. Wouldn't recommend based on how this situation was handled. read more

Went here for team building day and had a great time playing the games and bonding with my team. The atmosphere was great and great music. Now............... the real review. For this place to be brand new, the service was terrible. We constantly had to flag someone down to help us in any capacity. Whether the games weren't functional or we need drink and food service. We had to constantly ask for help instead of being attended to. And we went on a very slow day. No one was there, literally. The food....... Gross. The food came out cold, and didn't have any real presentation to it. It definitely felt like, things were quickly thrown in the microwaved and served. Non of the team finished the food. It was gross The Drinks....... Extremely sweet. Idk if that's a stylistic thing or training thing but the alcoholic beverages tasted like pure juice. This can be a good and bad thing. Poor customer service both in person and over the phone. We arrived 10 minutes late to our reservation and were informed that we had missed a 5 minute grace period, meaning our group would no longer be allowed to participate. Unfortunately, this "grace period" was not clearly communicated when we made the reservation, nor did anyone attempt to contact us to make us aware of the timing issue. We asked if we could join the next available time slot since there was not another group scheduled immediately after us. However, we received conflicting explanations as to why this could not be accommodated. Ultimately, the manager stated they were preparing to close early and would not allow us to play. When we asked about a refund, we were directed to customer support, which was especially frustrating given that it had already taken over a month to receive responses to previous calls and emails regarding the reservation itself. While we were disappointed that our group was unable to participate, we were even more disappointed by the lack of communication, flexibility, and overall customer service throughout the experience. read more

Came here with some friends not really knowing what I was getting into! We chose to do the Slime Bomb Challenge, and it was really fun. Such a blast, so many rooms to go through and each one is a different skill set. We had so much fun and our group ranged in age from 11-55.

I really enjoyed my time at this place and would recommend it. We had shots to start and they were tasty. My group almost beat the bomb on the foam mission with 1 number left to Crack. We will definitely be back to try other missions and maybe try the foam again as well. They need sanitizing stations in the rooms or outside the rooms. I didn't get a chance to try the food. Parking is pricey. Also come early just in case you get caught by the train. read more

It was a friend turn to plan the monthly GNO. All we were told was to come very comfortable. We tried to guess what we were doing and was all wrong. Then our Uber driver drops us off at a really cute building and we see the beat the bomb signs that's been on my time line for a while, so I was intrigued. It's another interactive game spot and im loving these more and more. It was actually pretty tough. We definitely need redemption. You should have seen us crawling on the floor like we were in the army..or more like rolling on the floor like the aunties At the end you suit up and play a final game to beat the bomb. Clearly we failed and when I tell you that paint shot out like a cannon ball..we had paint all in the mouth! But we had a blast! They also have foam and slime options. From the moment we walked in, the energy was high and the staff was super friendly. After choosing our experience and signing the waiver (do it online to save time), we chilled in the bar/lounge area. The vibe was great! We grabbed drinks and hung out with the bartenders, Haley and Matthew, who were super cool and fun to chat with. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Dip and was surprised to see chunks of chicken instead of the usual shredded style--but don't let that throw you. It was actually really good! Flavorful and shareable--our group of 6 all dug in and were impressed. We also tried the spinach dip. It was okay, but I wasn't a fan of the onions sprinkled on top. Now for the experience--it felt like a live-action video game meets Squid Game! You go through four 10-minute game rooms to earn time for your final challenge. It's intense, exciting, and keeps you on your toes. At the end, you suit up in full hazmat-style gear and head into the bomb chamber. If you beat the final challenge in time--congrats! If not? Attended for a 13 year old birthday party. The place was decorated nice. There is quite a bit of seating around. You will go through several rooms to get to the last portion. In the last section you have the option to be splattered with paint, foamed, or slimed. Fun for all ages. There was a group of adults that were having a good time. The only downside was they had a lot of customers and not enough workers. I think they will be ok they need more workers on the weekend. There was only one person taking orders plus making all of the drinks at the bar. The food was ok. The drinks were good. The price is kind of steep for me. Go check it out for yourself. It was great until the end. The games were fun, and at the end we were given masks and suits and told the paint would be somewhat forceful but we'd be fine. The force of the paint broke the mask they gave me. The front of the mask broke off and hit my already broken nose with a great deal of force. I was in immense pain and requested some ice. I would not recommend this place. They need to figure out how to not leave participants physically injured due to issues with their own protective gear.
