And yes, I was comparing it to Kolache Republic. Slightly different, much bigger, and proportionally more expensive. Soft sweet dough, not quite the same as KR or my family's but close. Sweet creamy cheese filling, again slightly different but close. And I'd be hard pressed to pick a favorite. KR has more imaginative fillings, though they also have the standards which Joe's has. Service was great. Prices are reasonable. Was in and out quickly. I'd love to have this nearby, and am glad KR is handy enough for me. If you live on the far south side of Columbus, or down towards Circleville, this will be more convenient.
