My wife and I had a pleasant experience at Amy's Donuts. A good donut shop is one of the many things we look for while we're out of town. Not only is Amy's open 24 hours, but the selection of donuts here is insane. In saying that, it took us a while to figure out our order. The employee behind the counter was patient and understanding. We ended up choosing 4 donuts: a chocolate Long John with white cream, a maple coffee cake, a bizmallow caramel, and a vanilla cookie. All 4 donuts were top notch. We also went to Buckeye Donuts on this trip. No disrespect, but Amy's has them beat by a mile. I typically review the original locations of businesses, but since the original Amy's is in Colorado Springs, Colorado, this will have to do. If you're a donut connoisseur, check out 1 of the 6 Amy's locations out there!

I drove 30 min New Albany just to come to Amys Donuts... just to get donuts to cheer up my dear friend that had a uncomfortable medical procedure. That meant that to avoid rush hour I left at 5:50 am. It was easy to get to. Not very far from the freeway. Super easy to see. Very well lit from the street. Bonus: They have a drive thru! Which I didnt use this time. I wanted to go in and see the donuts. Glad I did. Inside there are SO MANY different donuts!! Seriously two big cases just full of so many types/flavors of donuts. Plus more on the short wall. They have all the traditional ones... plus some really creative ones and they always have seasonal ones. Its honestly the best place to get donuts Highly recommend!!! Worth the calories and the drive! Pricing: I bought a dozen for my friend and three for my house. The lady that worked there was excellent in helping me pick the perfect combination. Cost under 30 bucks with tax. Maybe 27.50?

My favorite donut shop ever!!! There are so many options and just about all of them are amazing. My favorites are the old fashions and the maple bacon. I wish there was a maple bacon turtle because I would be there all the time! Parking is plentiful and there is even a drive through. We take our guest here whenever someone is in town so I definitely suggest making it there if you haven't already for fun amazing donuts!

A step down from the Colorado Springs location I just been to. Selection was wiped out. Kinda grungy in there - especially the employees. Smelled bad too. Maybe from the dirty mop water sitting in the bucket. The size of some of the cake & old fashions was much smaller than CO spot. All tasted good though & price at half dozen was discounted. The blueberry fritter was amazing!!

Looks beautiful but tasted like they were cooked in old oil making them unappetizing.

I found this place on TikTok. I searched " best donuts in Ohio, Resch ( which I already tasted ) and Amy's donuts popped up. So I'm like let's try them! I'm from Rochester, Ny and we been trying to find crazy good donuts. We went here today around 7ish. First and foremost there's so many donuts you can choose from I was in loveeee yall! lol. Also big shouts out to SCOTT that's my Boy! He was very helpful. Love his energy, love his customer service. Love the DONUTS! I swear I'll be back because of SCOTT and the donuts. Y'all gotta go try them out like fast. I also got the Dozen Box of donuts which are 22.00$ even. 2 Cookie monsters 2 Reese's pieces 1 Elmo 1 vanilla with lemon filling 1 trip choc cake 2 blueberry cream 1 butterfinger 1 cookies and cream and 1 choc sprinkle !!!

We always enjoy the donuts from Amy's! They always have a great selection of donuts and they taste great. Friendly staff and they have a drive thru.

If ya know ya know. I've been here DOZENS of times but have just forgotten to post. Very good donuts and Bavarian creams etc to fill donuts as well. Donut holes here are cheap where you get 12 for $1 dollar. Can't beat a spot with a 24hr drive thru as well. This (24!hours open for business) should be the norm all over Columbus since the city wants to shed its "COW TOWN" reputation so bad. These donuts taste fresher than Tim Hortons and Dunkin's Donuts who ship in their donuts from a third party vendor as opposed to making them fresh how Amy's does! They've constantly got a rotating staff working in this place so if you visit one time more than likely the next you'll never see them again but all their staffers regardless of who it is have always been courteous and professional. It's a reason this place has been around for awhile and even survived the pandemic while other businesses FAILED. If you're in the area check em out!

So be prepared to be overwhelmed because there are SOO many options here and, to me at least, they all sounded delicious. I've been craving donuts for some time and had Amy's on my list and it happened to be right there so easy picking. Pretty easy to find and they have a 24/7 drive thru so really available for any donut cravings. Anyways, I limited myself to 2 donuts which was difficult as they have flavors across the board. Chocolate, cookie butter, strawberry, lemon, candy bars, just to name a few. I ended up choosing a blueberry fritter and a mocha fudge donut. I've never had a blueberry fritter and it was great, blueberry and pastry just always goes together. The mocha fudge was a frosted yeast donut and the base was so light and fluffy and the frosting wasn't overly sweet. It was a really nice treat. They aren't the cheapest donuts around but not terribly expensice either. If you're craving a sweet treat, I'm sure you can find something you'd enjoy here.

We came here on father's day as this location is quite far from us as we live on the West side of Columbus. While I had checked the website to ensure they were open before we drove to the store, upon arrival, they had posted a sign that they weren't taking walk-ins due to the online order volume they had. Still, we had driven all this way and they said we could still order online, so I did, expecting a much longer wait than usual. We ordered 6 donuts and a coffee and settled in to wait. The seating area has some basic tables and chairs and booths along the wall. The interior is very light and colorful, but I would still say this is likely more a place designed for pick up as the seating is more of an afterthought. I did appreciate that they noticed us waiting and tried to get us our order quickly - so the service is friendly when they have the help. As you can tell from the pictures people have posted, the donuts are presented quite nicely. They also were a bit bigger than I expected as I was expecting mini donuts and find these are smaller than a full sized donut, but larger than a mini-donut. Unfortunately, I feel the donuts may have been cooked in too hot of oil as they crumbled quite a bit with the outside separating from the interior. It was a bit oily and then the sweet toppings didn't quite adhere to the donut and made the flavor a bit off - so it wasn't quite there for me. I hope that this may be different experience than what others may have had given their high order volume and what I can imagine was a day they were short staffed being father's day, but I don't think I'll be making the trip out to visit this location again.

New location, same great service and taste!…read more I have tried donuts in many states and countries and I have yet to find one better than here. Well, if I'm honest there was this Amish stand at a farmers market in Central PA that had outstanding donuts, but they only sold them a few times a year and I have no idea how to find them! This trip, I got the big boy donut, a white icing cake donut, and a pretzel. The big boy donut is a huge glazed donut as big as your head. That's right, you can hold it up to your head and it will be just as large!!! This time, however, they put a twist on them and added icing to a few. I know, sweet on top of a sweet sugary donut seems like overkill, and it was. But come on, anyone willing to eat a donut as big as his head has no problem with something super duper sweet! The other items were equally good, and I liked their new larger location. They even added a few new items since I was last there like donut holes/bites. This place continues to reign as the donut king in my estimation, and the fact that they FINALLY accept credit cards now is a huge win.

We enjoy their products and welcome Resch's to Gahanna. We are highly confident Resch's would be even more successful if they took two actions: 1. Open for business at least by 7:00 a.m. 2. Offer the option of traditional no-filling Chocolate and Vanilla frosted Long John donuts. -- market data supports this and shows .... Based on: * Sampling of 100+ independent bakery hours across U.S. cities * Regional bakery association listings * Yelp/Google Business hour patterns * Known bakery business models A realistic, data‑grounded estimate is: Only about 10-15% of neighborhood bakeries open at 8:00 a.m. or later. Further market data shows... Bakeries that offer only filled Long Johns are extremely uncommon. Why unfilled Long Johns almost always remain on the menu * They serve the "less sweet" customer segment. * They pair well with coffee (important for morning sales). * They are cheaper to produce and have fewer failure points. * They are the "default bar donut" in many regions. Even bakeries that push filled varieties keep unfilled bars because they sell steadily and require no additional labor. --- Bottom-line conclusion Bakeries that offer only filled Long Johns are very rare -- probably under 5% of all bakeries. The overwhelming majority offer both, with filled varieties outnumbering unfilled but not replacing them.

A maple cream stick, donut stick, apple fritter, raspberry jelly filled, a buckeye donut (for my hubby) and a chocolate espresso donut (for me). The price was quite reasonable and the people working were very friendly. I also ended up getting a bag of coffee beans after talking with our server and getting her recommendations. She even gave me a sample of one of them they had brewed. We paid for our items and headed out. Several people came while we were there.
