Although my grandma needed a high level of care , Corina and John and their staff did all they can to always make her feel at home and make sure she is living her last years to her maximum potential. I fully recommend this retirement home for anyone that wants a personable , loving , professional, clean and affordable experience. I can honestly say that I noticed my grandma getting better at times when I had no hope and it was all because of the amazing staff and care that American Dream Retirement home provides. Their retirement home is the best designed and equipped retirement home I've ever encountered - it is truly a site to see. I definitely recommend checking this place out before you consider any other business.

The staff has gone above and beyond in the care, protection, and ensuring the well-being of my parents during this very scary time of COVID. The facility locked down early and quickly. Information has flowed freely and the staff has been transparent in informing residents, staff, and family of developing issues above and beyond what is required of the state. I am grateful to all they do and know that my parents are well-cared for during a tumultuous and stressful time. I am grateful.

I am quite grateful for the good care I received from the nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and the outdoor grounds are beautifully maintained. However, there were notable areas that need improvement. There were times when the care staff felt stretched thin, leading to slow response times when calling for assistance. Furthermore, communication between the administrative team and family members could be improved. A major concern was the doctors, who visit the facility sporadically; my wife was never able to speak with them. They prescribed medications without sharing the reason for this with my family and at the end my wife had to take me out because she felt that the place was killing me!! The biggest issue was the performance of the physical therapy team. There was no set schedule whatsoever, and they often rushed through sessions in just five minutes, combining physical and occupational therapy together. I tracked each visit to the gym, and we never reached the expected five sessions per week for either physical or occupational therapy. While it is a nice facility with a caring nursing staff, closely monitoring the therapy department, staffing levels, and doctor communication would make the experience much better.

Though my parent enjoys it at the Manor, I've been concerned about continuous increases in the rent and fees, especially the latest increase of just shy of 15%! This latest increase seems to have pushed residents "over the edge," with several now moving out to nicer and cheaper alternatives. The Manor seems to have also lost several good and caring employees that we really liked. I'm starting to get concerned about the trends I've been witnessing. I hope these trends don't continue.

We were looking for a facility where more eyes would be on her and she could get Care if she needed it. We toured many independent/assisted living facilities in the Scottsdale and Phoenix area. When we walked in the door at Manor Village, we knew we had found Moms new home. We were greeted by Wesley Wilkins who provided us with a tour and as we moved throughout the building, Wesley knew all the residents that we came in contact with as well as employees. You could tell he really enjoys his job and every employee we talk with had a smile on their face. The entire building had a wonderful vibe and the residence we interacted with were so welcoming and friendly. We feel confident that if any emergency or care is needed, Mom is in the right place. It is now been a couple of months since she moved in and we could not be any happier. It has been such a positive experience and I would highly recommend Manor Village if you're looking for a facility that will treat your loved one like family. We want to give a special shout out to the following employees who have made my mom's move such a success. Wesley, Lisa, JoAnna, Medhia, & Abria.
