WOW and I mean WOW!....I was a car dealer some years ago and know how strict the DMV is regarding car dealers and disclosure with prospective customers. This car dealer violates many of those rules. I can't believe the state allows them to still be in business! Apparently, all the people that gave them 1 star ratings have not reported them to the DMV. Called for a vehicle they said they had. I called back to make an appointment to see the vehicle. They told me I have to get pre-qualified for a loan. I informed if I wanted to purchase the car I would be paying with a bank check. They said I would have to bring a copy of my bank statement.... Are you kidding?.....I haven't even seen the car to verify the condition they say its in, or to see if I even like it, and I have to show proof I'm not a liar? Their sign says they approve everyone, so why would you need to go get pre-approved? They said the car was not at their location. More than likely that's because they don't own the car and more than likely the reason they cant give you a car loan. Instead of being honest with people about the fact that they are a broker and don't actually own all of the cars advertised, they choose to play games instead. My son and I attempted to see a vehicle at this dealer on three separate occasions for the purchase of my son's first car. Here's how it went: The first attempt, I was told that I needed an appointment to see the vehicle. OK?? I guess that's the new world we live in. So I made an appointment....two days from then. We did receive a confirmation message the day before, which was great. However, when we arrived for our appointment, we were asked to sit for about 30-45 minutes, at which point I approached the receptionist (who was very nice), and was told that the vehicle was not available and was sitting in their additional lot. She was unclear as to when it could arrive, so we decided to make another appointment, our third visit. We arrived for this third visit and were seated for about 15 minutes. A sales agent came over and greeted us and took us over to his desk. Then the real fun!?! He immediately asked how we would be paying for the vehicle? I said, "cash" - a used car so not that bad. He then said, it was their dealer policy to confirm our payment before showing me the vehicle??? Excuse me??? I said, well I would love to see the car before we even talk about money, much less have to show you my bank account to do so. He stated the policy again, and my dander was starting to rise. I stopped him, and asked if the vehicle was even on site, he said no. At that point, I stood up and said "we are done" and left the premises. Beato Auto Sales is a small-time used car seller trying to make it big as if it were a large dealership with a swing ...and a miss. Buying a used car in any market has its relative merits. My mother used to say buying a used car is tantamount to buying someone else's problems which is why my parents always bought new cars and seldomly a used one, and it was usually from a family member. A new vehicle isn't always feasible for one or more reasons to include cost, financing, and monthly payment. I choose to buy used so I can get the car I want at a price I am willing to pay, registration fees dwindle to their minimum after a few years and that new car smell has just made its unceremonious exodus as the resale value has dropped by 45%. I give an overall grade of "D-" for the following reasons. PREPAREDNESS. Grade "F". After traveling three and a half hours for their own prescheduled test drive, I arrive at Beato to find the vehicle in which I inquired was not on the lot, yet on a storage lot. During the test drive, I notice the vehicle pulling drastically to the right side. The sale rep told me the tires needed to be replaced. Thinking that a bit odd, I then noticed there was no inspection sticker on the windshield, undoubtedly because of this. Back at the dealer, I saw that the right front tire was completely bald. I'm later told this to be a cost saving tactic by the seller by not completing the 120-point inspection until it is sold, placing the would-be buyer at substantial safety risk driving an unsafe motor vehicle. This lack of time management skills brings me to PRESENTATION. Grade "C". The vehicle was not inspected, therefore not road worthy nor was it cared for save for a simple vacuum of the foot wells. The Luxury vehicle could not be scathed by just this, bringing their subpar presentation above most marks. SALES. Grade "F". I am glad I did my own research before driving down as I pretty much sold the SUV to myself since the sales rep that accompanied us on our illegal test drive, who spent the entire time on his cellphone, could not answer a single mundane question about the model nor that particular example. You would think with a handheld PDA at your fingertips, instead of displaying ineptness you'd at least try and BS me and Google an answer or two. SERVICE "C+". You know you aren't big enough when you can dial all extensions on a given day and no one picks up the phone. After financing the vehicle, my guarantee of taking the vehicle home instead of 2-3 days later is reneged due to their garage not having the necessary tires in stock, prompting the necessity of us driving our trade home. Not willing to wait, I drive down to collect the vehicle after three calls to ensure the tires have been replaced. Once home, the MIL lamp illuminated indicating a fault in the thermostat. I was told by service that the part was replaced and to reset it and drive 20 miles to see if it comes back on. It did after six miles. I was then asked to bring the vehicle back for their auto tech to service the car since they had no contacts in my bordering state of Maine. I would wholly suggest they make some contacts as I do not know many people willing to travel three and a half hours one way for a car repair. My bad for buying out-of-state, I guess. I don't mind making one long trip to get a vehicle I want; doesn't mean I want to make that trip every other weekend. After talking to a manager, I was prompted to get a quote from my mechanic and send it to them for reimbursement, a feat to which they owe their greatest mark. read more

Worst Place Ever. I usually don't review but I had to do this one to save people from getting scammed. I wish I can give negative stars. I went there to buy first car for cousin for college commute purpose. Despite appointments they make you wait from more than 2 hours. Person before was so made he called cops for such horrible customer service. After waiting 2 hours when they show cars and they will add 5K extra from what they publish online claiming there is extra cost for certified car cost and documentation fee. I was so pissed at that point that I decided to talk to cops at that point too to tell my frustrating story. When waiting to talk to cops they told me we will remove extra charges and give you the car. I said good at-least they understood how to talk to customer finally. But then they said car is not here, it is in different Nashua location and it is closing time so lets make appointment for future date to checkout car. Despite frustrated I agreed given my cousin needed the car. So I made appointment and Sales person said he will make sure someone is available to give you test drive your car at Nashua location during appointment. On day of appointment I called them saying, I will be coming to Nashua location to test drive the car, but now same Sales person said we never committed to it and I said I will try my best to have someone there but no one is available at this point and you have to make new appointment to come and test-drive car but I can certainly go and look the car without test-driving it. He didn't even look at the car and was telling me how his technician said it was all set, if you are not checking the work, how will you know it gets done? It was so unprofessional, and we wouldn't have even had the phone call if the people there DID THEIR JOB RIGHT THE FIRST OR EVEN THE 2ND TIME. Dallas explains he did not have an appointment and he could get us into the SRT before the other sales guy could because he has the most pull. I got you approve with 4% interest rate and only $399 a month! " I was so excited! But he said there's a catch DCU want you to have a co signer. I said okay no worries, so he said the offer is good for 30 days. I said I'll be back in 3 days due to the weekend. My fiancé and I go back, and we had an appointment with Dallas, but he took off with someone else and was gone for a good hour. So Joseph took over and was running numbers on the wrangler, he said that it was $736 a month! I said wait no, Dallas said $399 a month. He said idk what kind of numbers he ran but no, it's $736. I was so pissed. I emailed them back when this occurred only to find out they were filling for bankruptcy. I was told it was and so I asked if I could come and see it because I was already in Hampton New Hampshire. I was told yes I can come and see the vehicle, given the address 9 Nashua Road Derry NH and told they close at 7. I reached the dealership after driving an hour. Was seated by Joseph. I asked about the vehicle because upon my arrival it was not on the lot. He told me they have 5 locations repeatedly. I asked where is the vehicle so that I can see it and was told by Joseph that I have to show him proof of funds. I told him I was there to see the vehicle he repeated that I need to show proof of funds and that I can afford the vehicle he was not going to have a runner go and get the vehicle without me showing him I can afford the car. He said it and said it in a very nasty tone while also smirking. That is not in their policy per "Selena". I felt discriminated against and believe that Beato has salespersons that are allowed to selectively choose who to ask to see funds. I hadn't even asked to test drive the car I wanted to lay eyes on it and was told I have to show him my bank account. We met with a salesman and the price of the car we were interested in was 15,995. When the salesman printed out the itemized breakdown on the care there was a fee for long term document storage of 1200.00 hundred dollars and a Certified pre-owned fee of 2800.00 dollars bring the total for the car to 19,995. I was told that these fees were charged on every car they sell so I said that the true price of the car is 19995. He he argued with me that the prize was 15995. This is a total bait and switch. They list the price online as 15995 so that it gets listed on Gar gurus as a great deal but in fact it is not. My recommendation is to stay clear of the dealership. The are using very dishonest pricing policies and you will get screwed. I give them less then 1 star if I could. read more

They were in the middle of filing bankruptcy but still actively selling piece of crap cars. After my daughter purchased the car we noticed a major issue. They sold the car and passed inspection when the car had a timing chain issue. They never returned our calls to honor the 30 day warranty the cars engine blew within 30 days. They wouldn't answer calls turned there phone system off filed bankruptcy and didn't honor anything. Now my daughter got a loan for the car that she now owes and a car that had issues abd wasn't properly inspected although they put a inspection sticker on. This is exactly the type of dealership you want to steer clear of. I didn't listen to the reviews but each and every one of them turned out to be accurate to our experience. We came for a test drive the first day, were told to come back the next day to talk to the financial manager about the financial aspects of the car. We showed up for our 3 o'clock appointment and didn't get to talk to anyone for 2 hours. Once we did meet with someone they weren't aware that we had been there the day before so tried to start over from square one. Seemed very disorganized. Had no notes from our previous meet or agreed upon trade in value on our car. Waited another 45 minutes before speaking with the financial manager, Joseph. He seemed confused as to why we were even meeting. Before we came for the second meeting we were confused as to why they insisted we do the meeting over the phone. We felt uncomfortable doing a $22k agreement over the phone. We later found out the reason why was because they had no intention of going over the financials. They expected us to agree to the sale without even going over the vehicle, or any pricing. We had to ask four times to see the car fax before finally seeing them. Joseph persistently congratulated us on our "new vehicle purchase" when we had not even talked about cost break down. We had to remind him multiple times that we had not yet decided. He even commented that he hates "tire kickers". We asked for an itemized bill, he said we'd have to get that from the lender because it was an electronic contract. We asked what the remaining cost of the car is (the total loan amount) after the trade in. Joseph insisted that only the lender could tell us that when he sends over the contract. How can we proceed to a contract without knowing the total cost?? After calculating our monthly costs over the five year period, we realized that Joseph made it so we would be paying $2k more than the sale price of the car even with a 10k trade in (not including the interest). Which is most likely why he didn't want us to see the itemized bill until the contract was sent to us. All in all very dishonest. Doesn't even feel like a legit dealership. Worked with a horrible, uniformed and uneducated CS rep named Dallas. He messed up my paper work, lied about what our month % rate would be. He screwed me out of 2,000.00 over what they said they were selling the car for. Not to mention, we had to chase them down 5 days in a row to get any information on the status of the car. NOT ONE of the 3 people working there ever return a CALL! NOT ONCE. They kept promising us someone would call but no one ever did. Miriam is the so called... Assit. manager and was an antagonistic bitch that was more concerned with pushing her points and arguments with a buying customer rather than handling herself professional and trying to make the situation right. Unbelievable! They were a week behind getting the car ready for us lied to us and on the day we were driving down OUT OF STATE! I happened to call to see if it was ready, and they kept saying it wasn't and it would be soon. DUDE! who doesn't communicate with an out of state customer to let them know the car is not ready for pick up! Even when we arrived days later we had to wait HOURS... no joke and we have a little kid and the wait was un called for... it was 7:30 pm before we were able to drive home. They said it took so long because the car was being detailed, which when they showed up it wasn't! Dirt on the wheels and scum on the front bumper as well as rear bumpers. There was excessive break dust all over the rims... clearly they are full of shit. SHADY! They said they were going to install new brakes, new tires and rotors.... which is fraud because they didn't! They roared them. We took pictures of the rust on the rotors, we have proof of the tires not being freshly mounted with old tire weights and as for the promise of new tires... are were NOT new tires. They are dried and worn out on the inside. New tires don't look like this. Our experience was a nightmare and would absolutely NOT recommend this place. Buyer beware. Do your homework before buying here. Cars are all overpriced. Be sure to run a Kelley blue book value on the vehicle before purchasing. Most vehicles are approximately $3000 over priced. Watch out for all the hidden or fine print costs. The additional costs the sales people never tell you about before the sales agreement is presented to you. Some of those fees are CPO or certified preowned vehicle fee of 1995.00, overpriced warrantee programs, outrageous documentation fees, And gap insurance. All these fees combined can add an additional six to $8000 to the bottom line. CPO fees should be included in the sticker price. Not here. I understand it all dealerships charge a dock fee but not $795. They make promises they don't keep. They say they do 150 point inspection on the vehicle before the sale. Well the car I purchased didn't even have washer fluid in it. I wonder what else wasn't checked. I have called and visited no less than 8 times over the course of 30 days,spoken to three different employees. Was very interested in purchasing a vehicle. Have given my credit info 3 different times, each time drawing inquiries on my credit..Of the three different people I spoke to nobody ever returns my calls.Was treated rudely by the manager when trying to explain my credit situation. Buyer beware! They sell unsafe cars, but give temporary plates...which is illegal. Don't let Rafael make you think otherwise. If you sign an unsafe car form, you should not drive the vehicle off the lot. Bought a car here with several major issues, which were not disclosed at the time of sale. They 'fixed' the issues but made us drive an unsafe car all the way to a sketchy garage in Lynn, MA to get the car 'fixed'. When the car was in their hands, it was inspected and they slapped a sticker on it. Well, the car FAILED inspection at a reputable garage. This dealership is whacckkkkk. Why? It took 2 months for them to get me a car. Two, thank god I didn't get the car because I was most definitely just giving them wayyyy more money. Here's how. I bought a new car today, 2017 Honda Civic ExL took one day to get. Also the car I was going to buy here was a 2017 Honda Civic hatchback. It took a couple minutes for my new car as this dealership decided to see if 100s of banks could finance me so already wayyyy too much crap searched on my credit. Next, my vehicle I purchased was 16,200$ paying 300$ monthly 48 months,, the car from this shop is 15,500$ paying 480$ monthly 60 months. Tell me how CRAZY that is. What tops it off, they didn't have the title in place, but actually in New Hampshire you can give a vehicle without the title because I mean you signed all the contracts and you were finalized. But if that didn't work out they could've found other ways to get the title like a duplicate, 24-A. On another note, so awesome that the owner is very apart of the business and is there. But what doesn't help is how much of an A** he is. Slurring hiii to me because he's upset that I called him but he can't make a customer feel like it's not all about you getting your money off of me. For one, if a situation is happening, UPDATE your customers...don't have your employees do it for you because you decided not to answer my phone calls that I was clearly told you guys noticed. Sold us a car with 4 unbalanced tires on it. Not a single wheel weight on any tire. After a hundred miles or so of driving, all 4 tires became out of round and dangerous to drive on. Being as we were on vacation, I had no choice but to replace the 4 tires and have the car properly aligned. Beato Auto Sales (Raphael) will NOT assist with or pay for the repair. Terrible customer service here... Sales people made false promises of a quick turnaround and ensured approval I put a $2,000 deposit down, we were supposed to get a call back when the car was ready and to finalize paperwork next day. We never get a a call and have to call them multiple times for updates. We finally find out from a different salesman that the car is actually in their body shop and will be ready in 3 days. The day comes and now there is a title issue with the vehicle and it will be another 2 weeks and they encourage me to look through the inventory for a different vehicle, not interested. I ask for a refund of the deposit and immediately get brushed off... "let me talk to my supervisor, I'm busy right now, I'll call you right back."... No call back, I call and am told by a different person, "No problem, it will be an hour and you should see the refund." If you shop on car gurus and find a car from this place add 2k to the price. My wife and I went in with our own pre approved financing for the car we wanted expecting it to be 15,000, we paid 17,000 the car was still worth it and the extra stuff they do before you pull it off the lot is 100% worth it. The car salesman was awesome however the guy "finalizing" the sale I didn't care for. After doing an hour of paperwork and shaking hands on the deal , including signing our bill of sale . we went to leave. before we left he asked for a deposit to hold the car, mind you we were pre approved at our own credit union all we had to do was go get the check. My wife and I were very insulted we were about to call our insurance company adding it to our policy and returning in an hour with the check to pay for the car. His reason was the car could sell in the hour we were gone. This was insulting to me that he'd even consider selling the car after all we just went through.
