I got lashes done in LA to visit SF for the weekend. Since my last day here I wanted to get my lashes removed since I will be going back to LA. I found them through Yelp and called them couple times because they didn't answer and they were really close to where I was. About 10 mins they called me back and I told them I would like to get my lashes removed as a walk in since my schedule Is pretty tight with my flight on that day as well. The lady with red hair (I forgot to catch her name) but she was the sweetest most gentle person in the beauty industry!!! She was so nice and understanding about my situation and took me in. The process was super quick easy and painless. It was not uncomfortable at all! I didn't feel any burning sensation. I was so relieved to get it remove this quickly and gently. This is definitely a place I recommend even though it's just removing my lashes. Next time when I'm visiting SF I will definitely get my lashes here! She makes you feel super welcome. read more

Sooo... I am someone who has been on the hunt for a good spray tan in SF for yearssss. And somehow Beau S.F. never came up on my scouring. I'm writing this in hopes you discover this place sooner than I did. 10/10 spray tan. No notes. It looks great, it lasts, and the actual tanning experience is efficient and pleasant (and you know that is not always the case). I've been twice now and plan to go again this week. I've never left a review on Yelp before, but after such a good experience I felt obligated too! I find myself always being uncomfortable in spa settings, I'm unsure why but I always feel like I don't belong -- going to higher end places I often feel like people either judge me or don't feel they need to give me equal services as they would maybe someone who "looks" more the part. Either way, this was by far the kindest & most professional staff I've ever had the pleasure of meeting! I had my ESA animal with me and they didn't blink twice about me bringing her along for the experience, they actually all seemed quite ecstatic that I brought her along! As for the services, I have never had a lash perm or lift before and wanted to try something different ( used to get extensions but I'm too lazy of a person to maintain it and have been trying to grow my naturals out) My Tech started as soon as I arrived, thoroughly walked me through the process as she worked her magic and the results of my YUMI keratin lift were so far beyond my expectations. Typically I don't even bother to use a lash curler when I get ready because the results don't exceed 10 minutes... BEAU brought my lashes to life! They look so long and luscious I immediately started getting compliments everywhere I went, I would've never expected the results to make me feel this good! Long story short, if you're shopping around -- this place is it. Great ambience, friendly staff, killer results ( and totally fair prices! ) This is no BS the real deal, they'll get you in and out and feeling amazing. I've been here (maybe) 5-6+ times now. I like getting a lash lift here every once in a while when I want to not worry about wearing mascara for a while (or before special occasions). They usually last 5+ weeks for me, but sometimes my lashes are stubborn, and they fall sooner. When they don't fall, they stay curly for so long. I love it! I use grande lash to grow my lashes so sometimes I also like to give them time to grow before getting another lash lift. The yumi lash lift is definitely my preference, but it's pricey. I usually see Gloria, and she's always very attentive to detail, which I appreciate. (I went to one other place one time, and my lashes were criss crossing a lot. She didn't pay close attention like Gloria does.) She recommended that I alternate the regular lash lift with the yumi to keep my lashes conditioned but also to save some money, which I appreciate. Would definitely recommend anyone see Gloria if they're interested in getting a lash lift! read more

Beau is the best! I came here for the first time a few months ago for a haircut and threading. Celina cut my hair and I will be going to no one else from now on. What impressed me the most is that she executed exactly what we discussed. I'm sure other ladies know what it's like to walk out of a salon with a technically good haircut that is not at all what you wanted. You do not need to fear that here. Celine is really good at asking questions to understand what you want, and at communicating what she's going to do. That started our consultation, where she asked me what I was looking for and what my hair care normally looked like. She looked at the pictures I brought in and we discussed what would work on my hair and what might not translate as well. I was actually ecstatic when I put my glasses back on after and found that my hair had been cut to exactly the length we discussed in the style we settled on. No surprise layers or extra length removed. The other thing I want to mention is that I had booked some treatments that I did not fully understand at the time of booking. Celina explained all the options to me very patiently and actually recommended I "downgrade" (in price, because no service is a downgrade here) to a deep conditioning mask instead. Gloria did my eyebrows and they have never looked better. I booked a cleanup but ended up needing the whole mapping/reshaping thing and she was so kind in making time to do that for me and of course, my eyebrows came out amazing! All the salon staff are very friendly, the space has a polished vibe without losing that relaxed, neighborhood feel. I look forward to returning soon! read more

I recently saw Natalie for a lash lift and an eyebrow cleanup, both of which were efficient and painless. I hadn't had my eyebrows done for a while, so Natalie took extra time to go over my options (wax vs threading) and to show me how she found the best brow shape for me based on my facial features. I came to Beau for lash lift and eyebrow tint (saw them on instagram). I was exited about the results but, honestly attention to detail was not there I asked for lift and eyebrow tint, forgot about the brow and tinted my eyelashes instead. I asked about it, even though she confirmed from the beginning about the tint with the receptionist and provided the tint for the brow in the end (rushed). A lot of talking amongst employees which may have contributed to the error on my lashes/eyebrows.. not really professional and made it uncomfortable in my experience. I drove 1hour to get here and would be great if businesses would take that in mind, not everyone is local and should appreciate our business and time. I got home, my eyes were crusty and had tint around the skin of my eyes. I had to clean them with a q-tip (not touching my lashes) because it was uncomfortable and didn't experience this with previous esthetician. Gloria is amazing. I really love the studio and overall vibe I got from her. She's very sweet and totally should upsell more lol but she doesn't so you'll have to ask about things like add-ons. My tan was done perfectly and with the added primer and powder it was just lovely. Not sticky at all and lasted for weeks. Crazy but true. I'm coming back for another tan before my next vacation and hope to have the same 5 star experience.
