On March 17, 2024 was my very first time ever doing nano brows, let me tell you if you are debating on doing it, or even worried, or scared, i am here to tell you just do it. I am extremely satisfied! I have been getting so many compliments how natural they look. The best part is waking up and looking in the mirror and seeing my eyebrows. I feel so beautiful and confident. Where do I start?! Melanie is a genius when it comes to nails! There's not a pattern or design out there that she can't replicate! I've been visiting her salon since I discovered her a few years ago on yelp! To keep it simple, once I started getting gel manicures, I noticed that my nails started growing longer and stronger. Also, my manicures last 4 to 5 weeks without any chipping! The price for gel manicures is $35, which is a fair and average price and for the quality you get, it is definitely worth it! Ive been to quite a few nail salons in the area, but let me just say this was the best experience I've ever had! I got a gel manicure & pedicure just in time for the New Year. I asked for a specific design and I was not disappointed. Even when she was done, she decided last minute she wasn't satisfied with her work and did a whole hand again so I would be happy with my nails. It's been a little over a week since getting my gel nails done with Melanie and let me tell you - they are holding up great!! This was the first time getting my nails done since covid (so it's been awhile) and I'm glad my friend introduced me to this place. I felt 100% safe. I was the only customer in the store at the time of service, she was the only person working, plastic shield/walls were present to protect her and myself, and cleaning supplies were visable (which made me feel better). Also, basic hygiene was on point. She took out new and sealed tools to work on me and foot bath was lined with a plastic bag. All in all, I am very happy with my nails (obviously), the covid precautions, and general hygiene. I'd definitely return. read more

First timer to Beaufident: Melanie did my nails. Took the time to make suggestions on mail options, got hard gel. She is a professional, takes her time and ensure quality is seen through her art. What I especially liked, it was quiet, nice music in the background, very relaxing and what a nail salon experience should be. LOVE LOVE LOVE Melanie! So I decided to pick this salon over all the many that are in the area because of how beautiful her salon is. I first came here for a gel mani and regular pedi and Melanie took her time to make sure that I LOVED mani and pedi. So I decided I wanted to do a lash lift, so I booked an appointment with her but when I came in, she took a look at my lashes and told me that she could do a lash lift but I would not really see a difference since I have like 5 lashes so I asked if she had time for lash extensions and luckily she did. The process was so soothing that I fell asleep! They look amazing! I had lash extensions before, took a break since my lashes were damaged in the process. My nails have changed sooo much since I started going to her they're stronger and longer!!! The place I was going to used an electric file to file my natural nails WTH! even-though I told her many times not too she still filed my nails way too much I knew that was making my nails brittle and weak:( well I finally found Melanie she cares about her work not how many she could fit in! It's been three years since I've gone to Melanie for lash extensions and brow waxing. I swear by her work, and she has only got better and more efficient! She can do a fill under an hour sometimes, and the results are amazing. I get compliments consistently on my lashes even weeks after the appointment. Went to Beaufident for a birthday gel manicure and the owner Melanie was so nice! I had a great chat with her and she checked to make sure I was happy with my nails and the design several times. She recently moved her shop to this cute downtown Monrovia location for more space and it's great! She also gave me a discount for my birthday which was sweet. My nails turned out great! Best experience ever! Very professional and detailed service. They don't need to hide behind over flashy couches or massages. Although it's still very cozy and cute inside. #nailsonpoint Melanie's nails are so artistic. She paints so effortlessly and the results are amazing. My gels last for 3 weeks and she is super helpful and will remove the gels when you are done. I'm already on my third set of gels with nail art and I'm hooked. Melanie is not only talented but so very pleasant. I am not one to get my nails done often as I do enjoy the natural look, however for those times I do want to get my nails done - I would not go anywhere else. When it comes to making appointments, she is very fast in respond. Also, the one time I had an issue with some crystals that I got on one of my nails that came off, she gladly had me go back to her salon and fixed the nail free or charge, which I was not expecting and only told me she is very detailed orientated. I also want to mention that unlike so many other salons, Melanie's does not smell like nail polish chemicals. I was disappointed in my experience. I thought I'd try a salon that specializes in brows and lashes for my next eyebrow appointment. When I booked the appointment online it said the appointment was for 20 minutes- my service took less than 5 minutes and she spoke to her coworker the whole time she was doing my service. And did not speak to me at all- which is fine because I'm not really looking for small talk but still was a little rude. My eyebrows are fine not better or even equal to the same as I get in the back of a nail salon for half the price. read more

I love love love getting my nails done by Melanie! I have never been so comfortable and relaxed with getting my nails done by anyone because from many past experiences, I have been cut or they excessively pull too much skin around my cuticles or just painful and not gentle!!! But Melanie is very careful and gentle, you really see her passion to provide the best quality service and experience you can have, and trust me she will have you wanting to go back to her and ALWAYS have your nails done by her. Before I go into talking about my experience with Melanie doing my nails, I would like to say I am a hair and makeup artist who specifically attend to doing makeup and hair for brides and their bridal parties and I work with my hands all the time fixing their hair and what not and from past experiences from getting my nails done by other shops/nail techs, my nails would not last more than 3 days whether it would be acrylic, gel or basic nail polish manicure because of all the hairspray and products I use and my nails running through their hair!!! Okay now for my experience... I have gone to her a couple times already in the past couple of months. I had gotten acrylic nails done by her with gel nail polish about 3 months ago and I kid you not, my nails stayed on for about a 6 or 7 weeks in great condition, of course they grew out but I loved them until the day I went back in for a fill/trim to file them down. Now for that experience in going in for the fill/trim to file them down, I decided I wanted to change the gel color and she did. This time around I wanted to go all out with some diamonds and designs... Holy cow, I kid you not again!!!- the diamonds and nails stayed on for another month!! I love the time she takes to make sure my nails will stay at the best quality!!! She did me a favor this time around to help my nails grow so that the 3rd time I came to her my nails would be fully grown and I would be able to take the acrylic nails out and just do gel, yet have the long natural length that I would usually get for acrylic. She exceeded in making my experience beyond wonderful, she is literally my go to nail tech. I recommend her to all my friends and family, I'm actually located in West Covina,CA but I drive all the way out to Glendale to get my nails done by her hehe!! But not only do I recommend her to my friends and family, I recommend her to all my brides that I have the pleasure working with because I truly do feel Melanie is the woman to go to to have your nails done for pampering!!! read more

Lashes were not very lifted and are uneven…read more I've gotten my lashes done before in Japan and by myself, but I was had an event the next day so I wanted someone professional to do my lashes. She had gotten my appointment mixed up but was still able to do my lashes. She didn't ask how curled or lifted I wanted my lashes to be. During the appointment, she spilt something in my eye and it stung ALOT, but she was able to clean it up quick. My lashes did not look very lifted at all and they are uneven, and so I left her know if there was anything to fix this...which is when she mentioned that she had smaller rods that she could use NEXT TIME. I'm a little upset that she didn't ask prior to working on my lashes on what I wanted if she had different options for levels of lift. I get that she got her schedules mixed up, and maybe that's why she forgot to ask/offer different styles? She offered to give me a discount the next time I came back...but I came her solely because I have an event the next day. I don't know if I will be coming back on my own. She was sweet and the space was clean and quiet, but I guess my lesson is to ask before trusting them. Edit: She reached out to me immediately and asked for me to come in tomorrow so that she could fix them. She fit me in with my availability, which I was very thankful for. I voiced my concerned and I asked for the lift to atleast be evened out, which she did! I appreciate her taking the time to fix my lashes.
