I gotta tell you if you're not coming here to eat you're missing out I'm gonna show you exactly what I had the San Francisco patty. Melt with a half pound beef patty fries and my God is absolutely delicious. You need to get down here.

Very nice cute place for breakfast or lunch. Haven't tried dinner yet. Good service and food presentation. I had the Grilled Cheese with Ham with Waffle Fries which was delicious. My wife had the Buffalo Chicken salad which was also great. Plenty portions size. Would go back again and recommend.

Marginal at best. Food was sent back because it was cold and came back out still cold. Everything else was ok but nothing special.

Anyhow, all that talking got us hungry, and I had to be careful with what I could eat thanks to a temporary crown from a root canal. Yikes! As such, Dad suggested this restaurant in a shopping center in Beaumont that's easy to overlook because it's surrounded by healthcare offices. It was a Sunday evening, and we could watch sports, and unbeknownst to us, lots of karaoke (varying degrees of talent), while we dined. My soft food of choice was the lasagne. Our friend got the Mac and cheese, while Dad went for the spaghetti and sausage. Service was good considering how busy the restaurant was. Lots of families and groups were there, and the food arrived before too long, so props to the kitchen staff. Full marks for portions, appearance, and how warm the meals were upon arrival. I had to be careful, but with some enjoyment lost from eating slowly in one side of the mouth, I realized this was a very good lasagne. The Mac and cheese looked great, too, and Dad commented on how good the sausage was. I ate everything except for the garlic bread, due to my situation. A small nibble suggested full flavor, but it wasn't worth the risk since my dentist office was closed until Tuesday. All-in-all, I would come back if I found myself in the area.

While our drinks arrived quickly, the service completely fell off after that. My wife enjoyed her French Dip, but my Boneless Atomic Wings were a major letdown--they were served cold and had absolutely no heat, leading me to believe it was the wrong order entirely. We couldn't address the issue because our server disappeared for the duration of the meal. We only saw him again when we had to flag him down just to get the check. A young lady at the front of the house was the only highlight, as she noticed we needed refills and stepped in to help. It's a shame because we want to support local businesses, but the lack of basic attentiveness and the food quality issues made this a one-time visit."

The service was a bit on the slow side, but don't hold that against them: it was brunch time on a Saturday. The servers were so friendly. And, oh, my, god, the food!! As we looked at the menu I was rather shocked : all of the classic omelets, Benedicts, huevos rancheros, etc, were on, but ALSO some real oddities ! Omelet enchilada - an enchilada wrapped in an omelet topped with an enchilada !? I almost ordered it out of curiosity - until I saw the chile rilleno omelet! It did not disappoint. In fact, it surpassed all expectations ! Somehow, they managed to cook a rilleno inside a nicely browned omelet with soft egg on the inside. Topped with melted cheese and salsa verde. Ooey gooey heaven. Oh, and made to order hash browns served with tortillas and salsa roja for wrapping everything up into a delicious breakfast burrito if desired. Hot sauce not required. All salsa is homemade with great texture, rich flavor, and perfectly spicy. My husband ordered the chilaquiles rancheros - and he ate them so quickly, I didn't get a taste! His review : just about the best he's ever had this side of the border. A real gem of a diner! I'm definitely coming back for that enchilada omelet!

There's a comforting familiarity to the place--the clatter of dishes, the smell of coffee, and the easy, welcoming smiles from the staff--that never seems to change, no matter how much time passes. Flo's has always served the kind of honest, hearty food that keeps people coming back decade after decade. The biscuits and gravy taste just as good today as they did all those years ago, and the omelets are still fluffy, generous, and cooked with the same down-home care. You don't come here for fancy trends--you come for reliability, warmth, and a meal that leaves you satisfied. After more than four decades of visiting, I can say this with complete confidence: if you want a place that feels like home and serves food the way diners used to, Flo's Airport Café is still the place to go.
