I like this place better than Palace Station in Vegas. For one thing, the waitlist system via text is preferably to waiting in silly long lines. The price here is also a bit cheaper and portion bigger. Don't get anything with pasta or ramen, not worth the extra cost. Tbh their broth is not the best (the cioppino sauce is worse than what I make at home with canned San Marzano tomato, zero depth or flavor; the chowder is pretty average at best.) however they pack each bowl with plentiful and very fresh seafood!! It's setup similar to Palace Station's Oyster Bar in Las Vegas. There was a half hour wait coming in on a Wed night. Food was ok. I expected better since many compared it to Vegas. The seafood in all the soups were super fresh and I did enjoy that. But the pan roast was not creamy and rich enough in flavor. The Cioppino was just seafood sitting in tomato sauce. Not good. The raw oysters were not that fresh with us getting one bad one. Can't believe they served it. Only good soup we tried was the perihuela. Very unique flavor and good broth. read more

I heard a lot from this place I had to try it out! I got the gumbo with spice level 5 and it was delicious! Our server was Christian and she was so attentive with a smile and helped us with our order. She was very attentive with us that I gave her 5 stars. Got on the waiting list, as there were only seats around the oyster bar. 50 minutes and the wait was well worth it! We got a white sushi roll, which was very good and made right in front of us. Also had 2 seafood bowls, one a clam chowder broth and was a fisherman's bowl, oysters, clams, fish and shrimp and one was a seafood butter and garlic broth which had crabs, oysters, clams and fish. I've had my fair share of pan roasts, and while this one doesn't try to be flashy, it delivers. Rich, creamy, and served piping hot, it hits exactly where it needs to -- total comfort in a bowl. I ordered the seafood miso ramen while my partner ordered gumbo. The prices appear to be steep, but the portions were actually very generous for casino food with king crab legs in both dishes. Although I was not expecting much from my ramen, it was pleasant in terms of flavour and presentation. They also offer sushi and other seafood dishes. This is a good alternative eatery if you are at Morongo and do not want to wait to eat at The Marketplace. read more

I keep waffling between good and okay for this place. The portions are pretty big. I ordered the fisherman stew. The broth was bland with a fishy aftertaste. Dad ordered the jambalaya and mom ordered the pesto fettuccini. Those were both pretty good. We also shared oysters which were decent. The one waiter was excellent. He's the only reason I'm giving four stars. He basically served the entire bar while four other people appeared to be cooking. There was even one time while a sushi chef was asked a question by another patron and instead of answering, she called the waiter to come over and help. The hostess also appeared to be sending customers away an hour before closing. It left a bad vibe. read more

Came here this past weekend to try the buffet that I heard was good and I had only been to this casino once many years ago so was excited to check them out. Right next to the Buffett that had quite a long line was pescato oyster bar that looked very appetizing and had open seating at their bar so we sat and ordered a few of their steam pots and some extra snow crab. This was our first experience at this type of steam pot bar and it was very good. The service was good and I'd come back for sure. The one pro tip if you can take advantage was is a they have a significant military discount if you have a reward card and proof of military service. We waited 2hrs to try their pan roast. Typically we're always at the buffet. We're only here for the pan roast. We've had other pan roast so we're here to compare! The pan roast comes with seafood Ex: Crab legs, mussels, clams, shrimp and fish. You can customize your pan roast according to the waitress. For the first one we removed the mussels and replaced it with sausage and kept the seafood. Second one I removed all the seafood and replaced it with chicken and sausage. You can pick your spice level from 1-10. We requested for 12. Because I know it will not be a 12 because of liability of customers returning their food. So the spice level to us felt like a 6. Overall, the pan roast is not bad. I prefer my soup to be thicker. One thing I didn't like is the sausage. It wasn't andouille. The bowl is huge!!!! Great to share with another person! Just order extra rice! Love the complimentary bread! Nice and hot! The California Rolls were also good! Normal but good. I'm never disappointed. The girls on Fridays in the early afternoon take such great care of me , Julie, Linda, gloria , and Idis. They are super attentive always very sweet and you can tell they care about making your experience special. They go above and beyond. That's why I'm back faithfully every Friday. The food is always wonderful and they check on me constantly even when they are extremely busy. I finally convinced my husband to go and he couldn't agree more. Now he looks forward to going as well. This is a nice Seafood bar in Morongo casino. It's a seafood menu of course. It's an interesting menu of Gumbos, steamed crab's legs, California Sushi rolls which I always order, they are delicious as was anything else we have tried. They have soups which are delicious also, Miso is our favorite. It's all counter seating surrounding the open food preparation area with boiling pots and cauldrons used in preparation of all the freshly made meals. The people doing the preparation also take your order and deliver your food. They have a small back room that is also visible from the counter seats. I've not counted, but I think there is seating for about 12 patrons at a time, I might be off by a couple of seats. With all the hot water running and boiling pots, it is still always cool and comfortable at the counter seats but the quick moving crew definitely are working in hot conditions on the other side. They must have great ventilation. Definitely give this place a try if you are a seafood lover. read more

This was my second time at Morongo and my first time eating here. I came here with my dad and stepmom all the way from Long Beach. We came for a little late lunch around 2pm and were greeted and sat at sushi bar area right away. We All had a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon( $13 each) and it was delicious and helped calm my nerves from the hour and a half ride down lol. We were served complimentary fresh bread and butter which was delicious ( bread lover for sure!) and were given a few minutes to choose what we wanted from the menu. I ordered the Shrimp scampi- $32, my Stepmom ordered the Steampot- $42 and My dad ordered the Cioppino- $38. I really enjoyed my shrimp scampi, the flavors were good. My dad and stepmom thought their meals were ok, they felt there could have been more flavor and spice. They didn't mention it or ask for more seasoning but I'm sure the staff would have gave them something to doctor it up! Overall the price was $151 with tip and with my stepmoms discount!! The Staff were friendly and attentive. And I really appreciated that although it was in a casino you couldn't smell any smoke which would have not made for a pleasant experience. The service was really good at this place but the food was below average and overpriced. The oysters were kinda fresh but really small and they are $30 for 1/2 dozen...so $5 for a small ass oyster. Pan roast was $46, I don't mind the price if they were actually good but they weren't. Pan roast was extremely watery like tomato soup and extremely bland. Visited: 2025-01 Came with free rolls as an appetizer. Their rolls are soft & fresh. Combo pan roast $46: scorching hot when it came out. Really good flavor (they use San Marzano tomatoes). I prefer the liquid to be a bit thicker but it was good. Good variety of seafood in it (crab legs, fish, scallops, mussels). If only they did bowl that included only some of these seafood items but for a lesser price, that would be great. OVERALL: Pan roast hat hits the spot, especially since Ritter's closed down all locations in LA county. Glad I came across this place. WIll come back to get their gumbo for myself. read more

I cannot recommend this little oyster bar more. It is very intimate and only seats about 22 people. If you're lucky enough to grab a spot, consider yourself lucky. It is on a first come first serve basis we normally put our name on the list and then go off and gamble for a little while until they call us, the average weight for us has been 40 minutes to 1 hour. We have never had a bad meal here. They start off by giving you some wonderful sourdough rolls with butter. My husband always gets the jambalaya or gumbo. Steamers and the oysters on the half shell. You could ask for spice level 3 to 10. The customer service is very efficient, but the food is so fresh. Like you're getting it sitting next to ocean. read more
