We live around the corner from this restaurant and we have been trying another Mexican restaurant for months, but since they changed owners, we thought we would give Pueblo Allegra a try! Boy are we glad we did! They are always so accommodating when we walk in and they give immediate service and great service throughout our whole meal! In fact, Victoria is our favorite server and she always makes our dining experience a plus! Even though they just have beer and wine, my wine margarita is so delicious and smooth and on Sundays they serve mimosas! We actually came in this Sunday to try their breakfast and we had a typical American breakfast, but it was prepared perfectly and quickly and for the price it is a very great menu. We also like coming in on Monday evenings cause we like crispy shell tacos and they have a special of two dollars each on Mondays and softshell tacos for two dollars each on Tuesdays! I also like to have a regular cheese enchilada with my taco and it is so full of creamy gooey cheese with a nice portion and my taco is filled to the brim! Had the delicious rolled taquitos appetizer. Two chicken two beef thin crispy corn tortillas topped with shredded lettuce cheese pico de gallo and sour cream. Service was friendly knowledgeable and quick my food arrived piping hot. The open room was spacious booths tables banquets and TV's with sports. I grade a Mexican restaurant on beans rice and salsas. Didn't order any sides, pico was fresh good. The two salsas I tried the table salsa was just okay but not as fresh as should be on this day. The hotter red salsa was better but needed better flavor. We've finally found a good spot for Mexican food in the area ... the food is soooo good and the prices are reasonable.....we've gone there 2 times for breakfast and 1 time for lunch and we always get the same waitress I believe her name is Veronica ... she's sooooo friendly and such a hard worker ...she has so many tables and she's still so attentive and gets our order right and refills our drinks . If you're looking for a place where it takes 30 minutes to get A drink, Pueblo Alegre Mex Grill has you covered! Mind you they did get our drink order wrong, and all we ordered was a coke and a sprite, neither of which got a refill nor the chips and salsa. The food finally arrived, and apparently the chef's secret ingredient is salt. I can easily make better mexican food at home that tastes more authentic, fresher, and requires less waiting time. Between the incorrect drinks, nonexistent refills, slow service, salty food, and taped up booths, this place just isn't it. Save your money, buy some tortillas and make some tacos at home. read more

Hopefully it's because they are new and will improve I got a carne asada torta. I would like it better if I was a vegetarian. The street tacos had more meat in them. Which really doesn't matter because they had no flavor. One thing can I say is that the street tacos pretty full with onions and cilantro. Both rojo sauces and no flavor the Verde the sauce was the best part of the meal. French fries undercooked limp soggy. We tried a new restaurant yesterday and you kind of called Con sabor everything from the salsa to the carnitas it's street tacos, chicken we're outrageous. The owners nice and friendly. You must try this place!!! First off let me say that my husband and I came in on a Wednesday night 40 minutes before closing. We didn't have high hopes since it was close to closing time. Boy were we wrong! The service was super friendly and welcoming! The restaurant itself is super clean with plenty of seating. Warm and inviting. Now the food.......impeccable!!! Best Mexican food in the area! The mojarra was perfectly cooked and super meaty and flavorful. The burrito was well put together and the tortilla held everything together well. The carne was tender and juicy. I really cannot rave about this place enough. I can't wait to come back and try more food. The only con is that I was too full to order dessert. Amazing service, everything came out quick, and we didn't have to wait long at all. They serve breakfast all day. Vibe was great. Who gives chips and salsa but makes you wait 10 min for a water? And there were 3 people working the floor with only 2 other tables full. We had a big party but wanted to split bills. Food was ok, not the best. I had ordered chicken & steak fajitas but only got steak that was chewy. Since we were a big party, I didn't see what everyone ordered but by their body language, I could tell no one was happy except for a few people. Customer serve was not good either. The meat quality was good, but had no seasoning. Beans, rice, and guacamole was seasoned with MSG, and waayy too much of it. We walked in, no acknowledgement, no greeting so we decided to just find a place to sit. The service was soooo slow. The food took forever and it was wrong. I told them it was wrong and instead of apologizing they told me "that's what you ordered" Really? You're going to argue with me as to what I ordered?? Ok, my wife and I ate here last Monday for taco Monday and the tacos were amazing! Food was so good I went back for breakfast Tuesday. I had chorizo and eggs. Chorizo was not greasy at all and was some of the best I've ever had!!! Tonight on Saturday I went back for a burrito to go. Terrible experience. Came in for the first time to try this place out, and was waved down by a waitress all the way from the front desk to the door, making hand signals to me telling me to sit wherever I wanted. I walked over to a booth in which I had to wait 30 minutes just to get some chips and salsa. Then another 15 minutes to just get our order taken. We waited about 10 more minutes to see if we could at least get our drinks, and nothing. We ended up leaving as we waited almost a whole hour and all we had gotten were chips and salsa. Looked like a decent place, but we were ignored the entire time we were there. Won't be returning after this very bad experience. read more

We have been in twice now and both times we had long waits for service. We were seated immediatly but after that service is just slow. Both times when we finally received our food it was cold. The last time we went I had to get up to to ask for boxes to go and ask for our ticket. Then once I handed them my credit card I wait for 15 minutes while the waitress cleaned tables, took another order and then was just standing by the cash register. When I finally went up to the register she was sorting cash register tickets and said "oh ya, I forgot" and handed my my ticket and card that was sitting right next to her. Victoria was an amazing hostess and server. She was very welcoming and gave fast and friendly service all in one when we went last Monday. We had ordered the breakfast special which had pancakes, bacon, eggs, and then we ordered the wet chile verde burrito and hard shelled tacos, the burrito California with steak our son had ordered. All of the tasted so good and had so much flavor and tasted so fresh, and is very reasonable pricing. We went back today for their $2 hard taco special and oh it was so good.
