The only reason I am giving them four stars instead of five is because I went in with a broken nail that I had glued, and when we were working on the nail, it seemed strong but yesterday that nail broke and now I am not able to get to another nail salon anytime soon. So I am bummed I now have a broken pinky nail, especially because we used a cat eye polish that I don't know I'm going to be able to find in another city to get this Pinky fixed so I am probably going to have to get all of my nails done again. I've been rushing around today, preparing for vacation, but now that I've taken a moment to truly look at my feet: I spent nearly $50 for a polish change and a chair massage. During the manicure I had to ask several times for polish cleanup and cuticle trimming and he eventually told me to just go to someone else. I am not someone who gets upset easily but I left feeling embarrassed and emotional. I still tipped well and left quietly but it was a strange and upsetting experience. This is not a good salon for acrylic nails. There seems to be an air of arrogance in that Ann…read morethinks she's great, but her idea of the proper application of acrylic nail fill-ins is skewed. She made a small hump in front of the cuticle, a hideous look. When I asked her to take the acrylic all the way back to my cuticle and make it look like a natural nail, she refused and said you can't do that. On top of all that, my new nails were lifting at the tip, and because she didn't bring the acrylic out far enough on the sides to cover my natural nail, they were catching on knit clothes. Serena did my nails the same way. If you want a good acrylic nail job, this isn't the place. I found a lady who, before I could tell her I didn't want humps at the cuticle, she started grinding them down.
