Jenn gives a great haircut and color every time and your front desk people are the most helpful, professional, and friendly people I have met. Your appointments run on time and they have even been willing to accommodate me when I am running late. One time, they offered to put money in the parking meter for me so that I wasn't late. Over and over, they are consistently way above average. I highly recommend Salon Oakley!! read more

I forgot my appointment. The receptionist called me 10 mins after my appointment time. I said I could be there in two minutes. They said for a cut and color I needed the full two hours. I said that I would just get the cut and forgo the color but pay for it since it was my fault. They said no because my stylist already replaced me with another client. They were demanding I pay $185 in full for my missed appointment with no rendered service. I refused since I said I could come. They have now banned me for life from this salon. I feel so wronged. read more

Left very dissatisfied. Asked for a balayage, she then gave me foil highlights.. and even so only foiled about 1/3rd of my hair. I had showed her a picture of what I wanted where the ends are all completely blonde. The majority of my hair is unchanged. She also didn't bother to offer to style or blow out my hair (she acted like she had no idea what to do with natural curls). The vibe is casual but clean and homey. You can usually walk right in without an appointment. Definitely recommended.

Setting up my appointment online was easy - very user friendly (like the rest of their website). The space was bright, clean, and I loved all the plants they had scattered around the building! My hairdresser, Rosanne, was knowledgeable and friendly and empathetic to my current personal situation, offering up advice here and there but ultimately just let me vent (changing your hair is a healthy way to alleviate angst, amirite?). I told her what I had envisioned and showed her a couple sample photos, and she managed to go above and beyond and give me exactly the cut I was looking for. The receptionist was bubbly, and offered me hot tea while I waited (it was THE BEST tea ever). And I emailed back and forth with the owner, Emily, after my appoontment and she seems to be pretty awesome, too. All in all, a fantastic experience, and I will be making regular appointments there when I need some hair care! 10/10 will recommend to friends and family! read more

I've been going to Hannah for about a year now. She does an amazing job with my hair. I recently had my barely shoulder length hair cut off about 3-4" for a shorter bob. It is a very trendy, stylish cut and goes very well with the shape of my face. She always does a great job with the color as well, trying new shades, yet subtle and natural looking. I have had endless compliments from friends and co-worker with this new cut. I definitely recommend this salon and Hannah. And you can't go wrong with Aveda! read more

Denise is awesome. I've been going to her for a haircut and highlight for over 10 years. She is very experienced and does a great job with coloring. The staff at Salon Oakley are super nice, too! Reece listened to my concerns and wants. Did everything I asked her to do. Great personality and very personable. I did not get my hair trimmed because I thought $45 for a bang trim and a straight cut across the back was a little steep. I feel like a trim should be included in a full highlight. Cut and color was fine, but bill was a shocking $200!!! When I asked for an explanation, I was told by the woman at the front "I can't discuss the prices that someone else charges." Whoa! I considered arguing about it but just resolved to share my experience and never go back. read more
