But from the start today (disorganized polish selection with a noticeably large number of missing colors), I should have recognized that they were dialing it in. My feet soaked for less than two minutes before the technician got started. The last regular pedicure I had (at another local salon four weeks ago) left my feet feeling baby soft and pampered. While I may have had to use a personal hotspot to connect to wifi there, I didn't need to worry that the tech was taking advantage of my distraction. I've been rushing around today, preparing for vacation, but now that I've taken a moment to truly look at my feet: I spent nearly $50 for a polish change and a chair massage. My nails are so ugly!! I stopped in to pamper myself after a stressful week, and was so disappointed. I wanted long, coffin or almond shaped French tips, but was informed after the white tips had already been glued on, that because "they come off easy if you wear them long(...?!)" I could only get SHORT square nails. Fine. I've always liked the look of short square nails. She then proceeds to round out my short nails. I should've said something but after reading other reviews (particularly the one about how when a woman asked them to fix one of her nails, they told her to leave!!), I didn't say anything. I should have. They're so ugly and I hate them. I want to go to another salon and pay to have them removed and redone. Go to Deluxe Nails in Hyde Park. They're more expensive but worth it. read more

The technician was so rough with my daughter's cuticles they were bleeding by the end of the visit. I have an app on my iPhone which interprets different languages/conversations including Vietnamese! I first started coming to this nail salon when they first opened. I was tired of the attitudes and policies of "that other salon" with locations all over the city. At first, they were great. Walk-ins welcome, good and friendly service, reasonable pricing. But now - I can't even tell the difference between Top Nails and A....nice. Same attitudes, appointments not kept, lots of foreign cross talk between workers, no tips on credit cards, and today's events of leaving the bill with the front desk without saying a word was beyond annoying. I love Top Nails. The first time I came here was a walk in 30 mins before closing. I didn't realize they closed earlier due to covid but they still took me and my friend. My friend did a acrylic set in black which she loved. The lady was super nice and polite the whole time asking if she was okay and if she felt any pain. The pricing was affordable too! Overall she loved her experience with Top nails. For me, I always doing a gel mani pedi and my nail tech did amazing. She was easy to talk to, relatable, and patient. We stayed over a bit but overall they still did an excellent job. My nails last for almost a month (besides when it grows out). I will continue to come back to get my nails done here. I don't use the same tech ever but every tech has done an amazing job. Just make sure you call in to make an appointment so they can expect to have someone ready and available for you. read more

My Mr and I wanted to get pedicures done and noticed this place after our workout at Planet Fitness. Checked out the reviews and was impressed. We went in and scheduled an appointment for the next day. The receptionist was very helpful. This is the cleanest nail salon I've been to. The staff works extra hard to sanitize their machines and areas. They do wear masks and gloves. Before the service, we are required to wash our hands. A gentleman worked on my feet and I noticed he paid attention to detail. The massage chairs was very comfortable. I felt very relaxed. I also got a manicure which also a job well done. FYI, they do accept credit cards however, if you pay with cash, you save 5 percent. You cannot leave gratuity on the credit card. Be kind and bring cash. Glad we did. Overall, we had a great experience. My Mr was truly impressed with his pedicure and left happy. $86.00 for manicure and two pedicures is not bad. Will definitely return. read more

Of all salons I've been to during COVID, I felt this was the safest and cleanest. They are brand new and very stylish inside from the comfortable leather chairs, to the cool golden sink, and spacious stations. When you walked in, you could smell cleaner so I knew they clean well. Every station had a sneeze guard between the manicurist and client. They had you sign waivers when you come in and I wish that was electronic instead but I didn't mind as the first thing they had you do when done signing the waiver was wash your hands. After that they had you pick out a nail polish color. Every station as well as waiting areas had bottles of hand sanitizer around. The chair was very clean and I felt good sitting down and the station was tidy and clean. The staff was super friendly and nice. My nail tech helped me as I tried to find the right shade of pink I wanted. She did a great job cleaning my nails and with the color. There was a person wiping down and cleaning chairs after each person left and everyone was wearing masks. The guys were all dressed nicely in white shirts and black dress pants. Overall, they were efficient and safe with distancing. I will definitely be back here again. The only thing I didn't like was all tips had to be in cash, but if it helps them not pay CC fees, it's something I'm willing to look past. read more

I was lucky to have randomly gotten Bella as my nail tech and she was amazing! I was expecting a certain dip color but could not find the right shade, she was so patient and helpful! My technician knew what he was doing and this is one of the first times I didn't get cut during filing. Very professional. The designs were done beautifully. I needed a new place for pedicures once I moved and I think I found it! Central location, large space, and friendly staff. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes even on a weekend. The prices are reasonable and I always get in and out in about an hour for a basic pedicure. It always stays looking nice until my next visit too. They take the extra time to really make sure your nails are in good shape-- trimming, filing, scrubbing it all away until it looks nice again! I really enjoy going here! read more

I went in this time and had a pedicure tech was extremely nice. Went to the nail tech for a full set, I told her I wasn't a fan of the shape and because the nails were not proportionate to the other nails, too short compared to the other nails ( I asked for almond she did a short stiletto.) She became very rude condescending and rude and told me to get out of her chair! In front of everyone and management did not apologize for her behavior. So let me start by saying the last time I came to Cincinnati I broke a nail and needed it repaired. I had such a bad experience I swore I would never get my nails done here again. Well a last minute weekend trip resulted in me not making my nail appointment at home. So I either had to get them done here or risk breaking one while on vacation and dealing with that later. So decisions were made... this place actually came recommended by my cousin who uses this shop. First things first, they are clean. I mean it was well ventilated, hand sanitizer throughout and stations were nice and organized. There was a bit of a wait but we were offered cold water and kept in the loop about the time. They also had a price list at the check in counter that went into their detailed services and you could choose between a standard and a master technician. I chose standard. My tech "2" was polite, asked all of the right questions didn't try to hound me to get gel polish and was very good at what he did. He didn't rush through my service, made sure he kept my nail shape and didn't upcharge for the coffin shape... I will definitely return when in Cinci. read more

The salon is very nice and large. The only reason I gave the salon 4 stars was due to the technician's attitude who worked on my nails. The pedicure technician was amazing and friendly. The other technician who worked on my nails was not so much. Not sure if he was in a mood or just didn't want to be bothered but he was not friendly or welcoming at all. His "commands" to me were borderline rude. I will be sure to avoid him when I go back but the rest of the experience was great. I was in town for a weekend and wanted a gel manicure. I was able to walk in on a Saturday around noon and get in by 12:30 to see "Jessie". The salon is very nice - bright and open with high ceilings and a large screen TV. It felt very clean and an employee was sanitizing stations throughout. Masks are required for everyone. My French gel manicure was satisfactory and I received what I wanted. It was $43 plus sales tax. Where they lost 2 stars was with the unfriendliness and sour demeanor of the technician. She was a little rough, pushing my hands and fingers around instead of telling me what to do, and murmured comments to herself that had a tone of frustration. I would say if you get a good referral for a technician here it's not a bad place to go. read more
