My friends and I used beauticians on the go for a girls trip in Scottsdale recently. They were prompt and on time and scheduling was very easy. The team was very communicative and had a wonderful set up. They brought two staff members, one massage therapist and the other was a facialist. My friends and I each had multiple services and were raving about their professionalism and attention to detail throughout the service. They made all of us feel very comfortable and we really enjoyed our treatments. We were able to transform our Airbnb into a spa complete with relaxing music and aromatherapy. It was wonderful! Our dad recently passed away and we knew mom would want to look her best for him as the family said "goodbye". Since she is in a wheelchair, we realized getting her to a beauty parlor was not an option for us. I wish I could remember the name of her beautician. She did an amazing job with mom's hair and nails. She was very gentle and kind. My mother was able to relax, and she felt beautiful. Update. I am attaching copies of my Amex charges with our name to respond to Owner's posted comment. These show completely false response and document fully that business told me blow out was $144 then charged my credit card $461. I am also attaching immediate email correspondence (owner said we didn't call or email) that shows we tried desperately to call and contact them in a total panic. They had Promised a professional hairdresser for blow outs for my daughters 28th birthday party and sent a woman with a 30 year old curling iron who tangled the brush in my daughter's hair and left. Such a disappointment. We just want to prevent others from being taken advantage of. How is October a year. And the delay was because we tried to work it out with you and our credit card company first! Also, you charged us IN ADVANCE. And You falsely told Amex we paid after and were happy. You knew this was false. Also how do you justify $461 when you admit it was $144. Please bring a claim. Truth is an absolute defense. I would bring suit myself but not worth the filing fee. read more

I tried to utilize this business to get a manicure and a perm for our grandmother as a Christmas gift. She was in the hospital and too weak to be able to go to the salon. The communication with this business was a nightmare. For a perm and a manicure we prepaid almost $300 (with tip). On the day of our grandmother's appointment the beautician was a no call and no show. My family waited AN HOUR past the appointment time to call the business to ask where the beautician was. At that point they told our family that she had called in sick. After more Communication issues and blunders my grandmother finally received services weeks later. I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone and if it weren't for the fact that my grandmother was really looking forward to having her hair and nails done I would have demanded a refund and NOT EVER given them our business or money. read more

Carla was so great to my mother-in-law she is in a care home and can not go to get her hair or nails done. Carla went to the her care home and spent time with our mom and did her hair, manicure, and pedicure. It made our moms day! Disgusted with this place as they refused to refund ANY of our money for my friend's bachelorette party for our cancellation due to covid. Extremely disappointed with the professionalism of this company. We had to postpone my bachelorette party due to Covid-19, then completely cancel since Arizona's infection rates kept going up. When my best friend called to see if there was room for negotiation, they were dismissive, rude and completely unsympathetic to the fact that we're in the middle of a global pandemic. The worst part is they originally charged us for 100% of the spa party instead of just 50% like their website suggests; they weren't even willing to give back the 50% we were rightly owed. My friend has been trying to plan this trip from Europe and has had nothing but issues with this company. I would steer clear of them -- there are other companies in Scottsdale with better reviews and much better customer service. Don't waste your time or energy! read more

These ladies are amazeballs. Super sweet and I freakin love my haircut. Was in AZ for a family gathering &needed a haircut; my buddies mom suggested Beauticians on the Go. They were affordable, &they came to my place... & literally have a menu posted on yelp.. haircut was the first thing I saw, so I ordered up a trim (manicure was also on the menu.. figured I should live a little and add that as the side) Carla was so fast in response, and Saira was amazing. Incredibly rude first impression. I sent a message inquiring about a group package because the website was not clear if the pricing was per the group or per person (this could be the difference of thousands of dollars). The response I received from Carla corrected me by saying, "the website states its for six and it does give you the total amount for six...". Really? I'm inquiring because I want to book services for a large group. If the website provided the necessary information, I wouldn't have wasted my time sending a message requesting it. Terrible first impression and as a result, a potential customer lost. If you want to be treated respectfully when spending $1000+ for a large group, don't start here. read more

I love these ladies! Saira and Carla are prompt, professional and so sweet. From haircuts to color to makeup I've never been disappointed. I wear very little makeup on a day to day basis however Saira always does a great job listening to what I'm looking for. The last wedding I went to my makeup looked perfect and lasted the whole day/night. I am in love with this service. I am sure they do amazing things for special events but my need was for my mom who needed an in-home visit. She has dementia and terrible back pain, but her hair has to be done. It's really important to her. So my dad and I were nervous while we waited and then Saira arrived. She is a beautiful young woman inside and out. She handled my mom's sensitivities and fears and made her look stunning. I had wonderful service from my first email query and now we're making standing appointments for my mom. Do not be concerned at all if you or someone you love needs in-home salon services. Beauticians on the Go are just terrific. My mother in law is 91 and lives in an assisted living facility. Ophelia was just wonderful with her and gave her a pedicure and haircut. The salon at the facility was no longer giving hair cuts. They do ask that you receive two treatments (haircut and pedicure) to make the trip worth their while. I will definitely use them again. Horrible customer service. I would never recommend this company to anyone looking for a mobile spa. We had a group of girls coming in town for a bachelorette. I paid a deposit then about four hours later we had to cancel the trip (wedding was called off...talk about horrible timing). I called Carla to see if they would do a courtesy refund of the deposit and she was so rude, defensive, and completely unrealistic about the circumstances outside my control. They clearly don't know how to manager customer satisfaction. I feel like I was just robbed of hundreds of dollars because they decided to keep my money instead of pressing a button to issue a refund, like any GOOD company would and should do, regardless of policy, considering the circumstances. Congrats, now y'all have my money for free! Anyone reading this, stay away from this one. Find a company that does the right thing and manages properly. read more
