Kathy is so amazing! She's located in a nail salon and parking is a bit limited on the street. Best thing is to text her when you're there cuz I was waiting for a bit thinking the nail salon people would let her know. I walked to the back and she had a designated room just for microblading. Since there was my first time, I was definitely nervous and didn't know what to expect but Kathy explained everything very thoroughly! I filled out some paperwork and then got started. She first numbed my eyebrows for five minutes and then drew the outline. She confirmed with me whether I liked it and then numbed it again for five minutes. She showed me the sealed microblading needles and then got to work. I didn't feel anything except hearing scraping. All in all, an hour and a half later, I was out! I got my wife a gift certificate for a brow procedure here for her birthday and she was very happy with Kathy's skills. She was very accommodating and communicative and worked diligently to make sure the outcome was to her liking. One suggestion though: it would be nice if the salon would sell their gift cards on actual specialized cards. Thank you, Kathy! I just had my brows microbladed for the first time and I LOOOOOOVE them. I naturally have thick brows, but they have cow-licks, so my left brow begins with the hair pointing forward, not up or to either side! So when I started plucking my brows in the 1980's I just plucked back to where they started to lay down like regular brows. Also, on that side, my "tail" hairs would grow horizontally. Both brows became pretty thin post the '90s when we all tried to do that horrible pencil brow look. So here we are in the 2020s and I have to draw in and fill in my weird brows so they match to some degree. Now my brows are even and I won't have to do diddly to them for a year at least! I bought the microblading + touchup package because from what I hear, the color will settle in over the first few weeks and I may want to make adjustments. BTW, touchups take place 8 weeks after the initial procedure. Oh, and I didn't feel a thing. Kathy says that's normal and that clients will generally feel discomfort on the touchup appointment. read more

Cannot recommend Crescent enough!! It's run by Kathy, and located in a salon. The micro blading room is incredibly clean, sanitary and nice. Kathy was so kind to answer any questions and apprehensions that I had before the appointment in a phone call. She is flexible in her schedule and was happy to answer any and all questions that I had. Through the first appointment she was so kind and professional, she walked me through the whole process of micro blading and took the time to let me know the aftercare and things that I should expect. You can tell how much she cares about her clients and how much care she puts into her work. She genuinely does her best for her clients and cares so much. She designed brows that fit my face better than ones that I would previously draw on myself which completely transformed my face! She makes the brows incredibly natural and at first I was apprehensive that the brows may be too light because I have oily skin, she assured me that I would be able to do shading which would produce a darker, more "makeup" look. Every single session was incredibly easy and I am absolutely in love with my new brows!! She offers 2 sessions, one initial and one "touch up". The first session is just to get an idea and a rough shape. It's necessary because she needs to be able to see how it reacts with your skin, how much pigment you absorb etc. The first appointment doesn't reflect how it will look after the second touch up!!!! She does such a good job taking in your input in the second session and after the second session it was better than I could have imagined! I was gentle in my original review because I hate writing negative reviews, but revisiting my results a year after I got my microblading done, I have to say this was one of the biggest cosmetic mistakes I've ever made, and it's time for me to update with an honest review. I asked for a natural microblade that would make my brows a bit more even. Well, since one brow sits just a little higher than the other, she filled the top of the brow that sits lower. Unfortunately, going above the brow to make it "taller" resulted in a really terrible look where you can see where the eyebrow hair ends and where the pm begins. Check out how ugly in my attached pictures. I was sad for months about this, and to date still am because my brow still looks like this, although thankfully it's much faded. Micro blading is advertised as a temporary (semi-permanent option), but in reality there's no telling how long results will last. I recommend avoiding microblading in general and don't recommend Kathy. I'm really sorry to have to write this. read more

Kathy worked on my brows right before the pandemic started, so I wasn't able to come back for the touch-up. Regardless, my brows actually looked amazing even without the touch-up. I was finally able to come back to get them touched up almost exactly a year later. It's fun to get new brows! Kathy does a great job making them look natural. The first time, it looked thicker at first and then faded a bit, and then it became slightly darker and they were perfect. I think this is part of the healing process. Generally, straighter brows look younger; deeper arches look older. I like the minimally arched look, which is a little straighter and makes my eyes look bigger. Disappointed with unclear pricing policy and not getting the result I wanted. I chose Crescent eyebrow based on rating because I wanted thicker fuller eyebrows so I don't have to spend time filling in. Kathy used microblading to follow my natural eyebrow. I paid $550 which came with free touchup and I explained that it's still too thin and I showed Kathy how thick I would like it to be. After the touchup Kathy said I can return if I'm still not happy with the thickness. I did that after 2 weeks but I couldn't make an appointment right away due to my son getting sick and going to the ER then holidays etc.. I contacted her 2 months later to go for an appointment but she asked for more fees since it has been 2 months. I wish that was made clear by Kathy or on her website there is no mention of the 2 month limit. After paying $550 I still have to fill in my eyebrows and will have to pay again somewhere else so I can get the result I want. So disappointed. read more
