Their owner is also their bookkeeper. I will amend this if they fix my home. The owner once told me that I would be in court so fast if i left a bad review so just know off the bat, these are the kind of people you will be dealing with. The owner also baselessly called me racist because I am trying to get the mold problem he created fixed. And pay attention to the "reviews" they have on here, somehow they appear all at once from people with no prior reviews. Hiring them is the biggest regret of my life. Remodel group has caused so much damage to my home, they have flooded my house, not once, not twice, not three times, but four times. they have never kept a schedule they have given me and the owners are some of the least responsive and unprofessional people i have ever met. We are now almost two years into a project they thought would take 6 months. Their contract stated they would leave the site clean everyday, they have cleaned it maybe twice in the past year. They left nails in my neighbors driveway and broke my other neighbors mailbox and it took months for them to make it right. They had a habit of leaving human waste in my toilet and not flushing it. they built a floor through a window and left a chimney to nowhere on the side of my house and then said "only your neighbor will see it". The plans called for an request for information if design conflicted and they never once did that and did not even know what an RFI is. They lie on their invoices and double charged me for things and cannot explain simple receipts. They tried charging me $2600 to hang two doors so you have to watch every single invoice they send or you will lose so much money. They had me paying receipts that werent even mine and charged me multiple times for things I had already paid for. Hiring them has truly been the biggest regret of my life. They are still fixing their mistakes and cannot give me an end date. The owners refuse to meet me at my home and have seemingly checked out and the subs do not know what is happening. They put the inside of my home on their instagram account and i asked them to remove it and they refused and then they blocked me. When I put out the SOS I had two separate friends in business send the same number LOL they said talk to "DP at Custom Living" I gave them a shot and I am so pleased... I'm actually getting a little emotional just thinking about how close we came to closing our business because of all the previous contractors taking advantage and not completing the jobs. I wholeheartedly recommend Custom Living and I feel I would be hard pressed to find another Contractor that was as experienced, speedy, personable, and willing to go the extra yard. He even found time to come out to our studio launch!

Then they sent an email 4 hours after the scheduled appointment asking if I wanted to reschedule, that their technician called in sick last minute. This email was a forward of a prior email around the appointment time that had a wrong email address, despite them emailing me several times successfully prior to that. They also said they left me a voicemail around the appointment time, but I never received ot. They offered in their email to make it up to me, but I have moved on.
