I came in earlier in the week for a gel mani and we were seated right away. They were pleasant and the manicure was quick. The first day afterwards my nails looked great, however three nails chipped on the second day and the top coat came off the other. I've routinely had gel manicures for the last four years and they've never chipped that quickly or had the top coat chip off. I came back this morning and asked them to fix it and the owner was pretty adamant it was my fault, but with some insistence they redid the three nails that were messed up. The girl who fixed them was very nice and looked at each of the other nails to make sure there wasn't anything wrong, and even fixed the top coat on one of them. Since my first service was right before the holidays and when they were rushing to get people in, I believe they were a little less careful than they normally would be. 3 stars is given because at least they fixed the mistake even if it took some insistence. read more

I will continue to support this business and here is one reason why...I was getting a manicure and over heard an old man harassing an old woman he was sitting next to at the manicure bar. He was telling her she talks too loud on her phone and kept repeating this to her, clearly annoying her. I at first I assumed it was her husband but further observation I realized he was just another customer and had no relation to her. The owner stepped in and told him sternly to not harass his customers or leave. The man seemed shocked someone stood up to him. First couple times going here was good. Acrylic full set with gel nail polish. Went back to get a fill and they were beautiful, however, I noticed that my acrylic nails weren't as strong and kept chipping and I broke a nail which never happens to me. I went back about 1 week later and had them fill my nails and fix the broken one, but this time I broke 4 nails in 2 days. Something wasn't right, I never break my nails on norma day to day activities. I noticed that my acrylics were super thin. So I figured that that was the issue. I went back that weekend and I asked if they could make my nails thicker because they kept breaking. The woman told me "no, they need to be filed thin," and proceeded to file my nails too thin. I left and a few hours later, I broke a nail when I was cooking dinner. I had went to the salon to fix my broke nails more times then I ever had in the past, and yes, I paid full price for my acrylic and gel nails. In prior visit noticed they treat clients differently. Instead of giving best service to everyone. If you look like you hv $$$ they are all over you, polite and friendly and attentive. I was treated indifferently. All I needed was a basic fill. So haven't been back in long time.And I didn't return before b/c tech wanted to do my nails her way. I asked kindly to file a certain way to accommodate the way my nails grow out. Immediately ATTITUDE!!! This time, b/c my regular nail shop was closed for vacation wk. I have been coming to Beautiful Nails for years. They are efficient, friendly, and consistently give me the best gel manicures. When I go to other salons, my manicures typically last about 2 weeks. When I come to Beautiful Nails, my gel manicures can last upwards of 4 weeks. They have a great color selection regardless of what type of manicure you are getting and all of their technicians are fabulous. The shop is always spotless. Couldn't recommend them more! read more

Came here for a dip fill. The manicurist did a wonderful job and worked very quickly. Did exactly what I requested. Only reason why I'm giving a 4 star, is because I had 1 glitter nail on each hand. Both of them didn't get as close to the cuticle as the other 8 fingers, so it looked like they were grown out 2x as fast. Nice atmosphere, very busy upbeat salon. I asked for nails to be filed to oval shape not square, not clipped. Manicurist proceeded to clip and file square. She asked if they were ok - said no, oval not square please. Filed again square. Decided to just deal with it - asked for French manicure with THIN white tip - gave me very thick white tips on left hand. Asked if I liked , I requested thinner. She said "they are thin" / nope- right hand was already filed (square) and clear coated. R nails were noticeably uneven. I gave up at this point and requested she remove polish from both hands. I must say despite many glowing reviews my experience was not a pleasant one. To begin, my technician was limited in her ability to provide the service I wanted which was a simple design on one of my nails. I was told she could only do solid colors. I said that was fine and found a color that suited me. She began the process of removing the dip pier I already had on my nails which she was a bit impatient with. Normally I sit for about 15-20 min with the acetone on to remove the dip power without having to use a drill. Then she was very rough in how she handled my hands when trying to file. I have a tendency to involuntarily shake due to medication I take so sometimes it's a bit hard for me to fully relax my hands. After she told me to wash my hands, and noticed my nails were different lengths and shapes. I told her and she only tried to fix one. In addition my cuticles were absolutely a mess. They were cracked and dry. At no point did she offer and oil or lotion. I finally just told her to apply the top coat so I could be done. Prior to me leaving I stopped at the front desk to talk to the manager to express my disappointment. He told me to wait for his brother so he could fix it. I waited about 5 min for brother to come fix it. He asked what the issue was and he proceeded to fix my nails. As he did he scraped me with the drill and I began to bleed. I told him he had done so and he offered no apologies. After he finished with my nails he asked where I got my nails done. I told him I had been there before in the past which is why I came back but usually I go to another place that's closer to where I live. He then gave the unsolicited advice of going where I normally go. So with that I give anyone reading this that same advice. read more

I like this place! My nails look great, my wallet is alright, everybody's happy. I'm a little creeped out by the couple of reviews claiming that things are kept unsterilized there, so I'm going to ignore those and go back to my happy place... Here's why this nail salon deserves four stars: -Very friendly staff, welcoming environment -Cheap prices (thought believe it or not I've had cheaper for better) -They're quick, which for me is priceless -As others have noted, they give a longer than normal foot/leg massage -Easy parking right on the side of the building Here are the only cons: -The massage pedicure chairs aren't comfortable to me and the massage is way too hard... it feels like bricks are poking you in the back and then massaging you all the way down, not nice -I didn't love their selection of nail colors and they were missing a bunch of OPI that I usually like in the fall -The interior is kind of old school and even though this location is newer it looks like it was put together a good 10-15 years ago I might go back if I need to, but I think my loyalty still lies with Trendy Nail. Was a walk in client and had been here previously and thought I would try it again. Very hurried and cut my finger. I bled a lot and he just kept wiping it with a towel. The tools were not in sterilized package and just in the drawer. Not hygienic. That was yesterday. Today the ends of the nails were left rough and the polish is already chipping less than 24 hours later. I have not even used my hands for anything except washing my face. My first time here, I went in with 5 of my friends and they were easily able to accommodate us which was nice. We did make an appointment ahead of time. The nail techs were friendly and did a good job, my gel mani was $30 which is pretty cheap in my opinion, so I was happy. However, gel manis usually last 2.5 weeks or more for me, but this one started peeling only a week later! I was really surprised because that's never happened to me that early. I drove by a couple days ago and wondered if it was the mythical BN that I had seen on Yelp. Looking up the address, they didn't match. I decided to go in anyways and asked if they had just moved. The guy told me yes. This location is brand spanking new and spotless. It's huge - there must be over a dozen manicure stations and 16+ pedi stations. It has a huge fish tank in the middle of the store. I decided this is my go-to cheap on the run pedicure place! This is why: - Got in the chair immediately upon entering. - The lady brought me a magazine without me asking, and I enjoyed reading it. - She didn't talk to me unless needed. I sat back and enjoyed. - Good quality nail polish products (OPI included) and lots of color selections. - CHEAP - $24 for the pedicure. - FAST - in and out in 25 minutes or so. - Clean - I don't want any nail fungus! - Long massage! - I ripped off half my big toe the day before when I stubbed my toe... and she was very gentle with it and took good care of it so it grows back in normally. - No up-selling. You get the basics. The only reason I take off a star is that I would've liked more dead skin removal on my feet- they get kinda dry and built up with it. Ick. Let me start by saying I have been getting my nails done for 10 plus years every 2-3 weeks. This was one of the few places in town that had someone that could do a good job with pink and white acrylics. No where does them short enough until I found this place! I came here several times over the last year since moving here and they always do a good job. I do try other places in town, and I have been very happy with some and not so happy with others. I recently started getting gel and they do a great job here. Lasts 2 plus weeks. Taho (not sure if I am spelling that correct) did a great job today on my mani pedi. Only reason I did not do 5 stars is the lack of pedicure options. I have been several places they offer a longer massage for an up change, and to me it's worth it every time. They are 100% following all COVID-related recommendations/orders - taking temperatures, masks are mandatory, customers are limited and spaced out, every station is cleaned after each customer, hand sanitizer and plexiglass at every station. I have to update as this is my first appointment after they reopened since Covid. If you need/want a mani or pedi, Beautiful Nails is killing the safety game. Appointments only. Only every other station in use. Each station is equipped with disinfectant and hand sanitizers. There are plexiglass windows at each station. They take your temperature and you sign a form saying you haven't felt sick or have been coughing upon coming in. One use tools are sealed in plastic and used for pedicures. Seriously, they have this down and it's great. I felt perfectly safe and comfortable and so glad to see them back in business. read more

I read a scary article about a lady who got a severe infection from a callus shaving tool at a salon in a different state, and it put me at ease to see a sign at Beautiful Nails stating that such tools that cut skin are prohibited. I will say this place seems to be clean and you can look out the window while in the pedicure chair. But the actual pedicure was a waste of money. Worst Manicure I have ever had. Gel manicure didn't last one week. My nails are severely broken and sore will never return to this place.

Place looks tidy and the staff is really nice. But THEY ARE A MAJOR INFECTION HAZARD FOR PEDICURES! I am never coming back, and my reasons are below. I got the regular pedi ($24) here and was horrified with their lack of care for sterility. Transference of fungus, and other feet infection would be super easy here. 1. The tub you soak your feet in is not adequately cleaned - they spray a cleaning solution (not sure what it is, they used old 409 or other cleaning agent bottles and fill with a clear solution) and wipe it up once with the dirty towel used for the previous patron. 2. When the nice lady was trimming my feet she used some tools from her personal box (they each have a box). It turns out these are not sterilized after each use, they merely rinse them in the tub of water used to soak your feet and move on to the next patron! 3. When she was filing my nails, she pulled out a big black file which had the white chalky streaks from previous patrons nails! This totally grossed me out. I was so close to bolting out the door at this point. 4. The callous filing stone for your heel and foot brush are not sterilized between patrons either. They just put a little of the soap in it and rinse in the same tub water your soak your feet in. Needless to say, when I got home I washed my feet 3x and then poured rubbing alcohol on it to kill whatever may be lurking there!!!! read more

I wasn't sure of their hours, so I came by here after an early morning meeting. It was 9:45 and they don't open until 10, but they still let me inside to wait, which was super nice of the owner/manager. And let me tell you, Beautiful Nails is hopping at 10 am! When I walked into this place on a mid saturday and saw how packed it was, I knew I was going to have to wait at least 30 min before someone is available. WRONG. I was immediately seated in a chair and a person came and started on my toes. This place seemed clean and sanitary, all the tools came out of new packets. I noticed that they used cleaner and scrubbed the tubs after it was used and they used gloves when working on your toes. There was no homedepot bucket or clorox bleach container used as trash. The environment seems new, the chairs and equipment do not seem dingy. The manicurists actually speak english and understand you. I had my toes and hands done for $35 before tip. They have a decent selection of OPI and Essie nail polishes. There are multiple seats for waiting and they have a nice bathroom if you can't hold it. Parking is kinda limited, it is located on the left of the building with like 8 parking spots. I thought it was funny that they used a crock-pot to keep the hand towels hot, that was a first but if it works I do not mind. Overall this is a okay place to come and get your nails done. Based on Abby S.' recommendation, I tried out Beautiful Nails before a big out of town family event (you gotta look good, right?). We made a reservation for a manicure and pedicure, but really didn't need it. They took us right away and it took 45 minutes for both services! I couldn't believe it. And they did a great job. I've paid over twice the price for these services before and the quality I got at Beautiful Nails was much better. Beautiful Nails charged me $32 for a mani and pedi, and what was better, was that they charged me BEFORE they did my manicure, so as not to ruin my nails...I really appreciated that! (Since usually you're trying to fish through your purse for a credit card while not messing up your nails at the end of an appt.) Now, if you're looking for that spa-like/soothing atmosphere, this is not the place for you....but, if you're looking for something quick, cheap, and good quality, you need to give Beautiful Nails a try. read more

You never have to make an appointment and even if you have to wait, it's not for long at all. They have a wide range of colors from Essie and OPI as well as their special gel nail polishes. They also do acrylic nails. I either get a mani/pedi or a gel mani and regular pedicure. When you're getting a pedicure, don't forget to use the massage functions on the chair. I did not feel rushed to select a color or to get serviced. I absolutely loved my nail technician Amy. Normally I go to Ladue Nails, but wanted a change of pace and try out a new salon. If you come here whether for a polish change, pedicure/manicure or waxing you will be satisfied. They also have a rather large Essie collection!
