Yikes. * The 4th session (the worst and last for me) was done by an inexperienced nurse who accidentally targeted my eyelid/eyelash area with the laser. * This caused significant pain, tearing, and irritation, and part of my eyelash was burned/cut off by mistake!!!!!. * Her reaction was unprofessional when I pointed it out. * I immediately reported the issue to reception. * I was later connected to a remote nurse/clinician via video call, but the response was dismissive and unhelpful, suggesting castor oil and saying it would regrow. (yay for me ;) 5 months I hardly got to regrow my lash) * No proper care, apology, or resolution was provided. * They contacted me twice afterward: the first time I was unavailable, and the second time the caller was speaking in a loud and aggressive manner, so I asked to be contacted another day as I was not willing to continue the conversation in that tone. * It has now been several months with no refund, no resolution, and no proper communication from the clinic management. I unfortunately only took a picture right after the incident. After that the eyelash fell out & only grew back several months after (with intense care) but I didn't take any photos during that time. Summary: Very inconsistent experience, not suitable for sensitive skin, and poor professionalism, skill level, and customer service throughout. I absolutely do not recommend.

She made unsolicited comments about my decision to start laser hair removal in my late twenties, which was completely inappropriate and frankly none of her business. I came in for a service that I chose for myself--not to be lectured or made to feel bad about when I decided to do it. She was also clearly in a rush to get through my appointment. I have an extremely low pain tolerance, and while I understand that isn't her responsibility, she seemed visibly frustrated that I couldn't tolerate even the lowest setting of the laser. Instead of showing any patience or understanding, she told me, "Definitely next time get a numbing cream." The entire interaction felt rushed and uncomfortable. On top of that, there were a few areas that I genuinely could not shave properly because they were difficult to reach. She told me she would laser them this time, but that next time I needed to be "more thorough" because otherwise the laser wouldn't be effective. I understand that clients are expected to shave beforehand, but there is a huge difference between giving someone a simple reminder and making them feel embarrassed or inadequate over something they genuinely could not reach. And what makes this even more frustrating is that I had a completely different experience at the Encino location. My sister had encountered the same issue there, and the technician simply had a single-use razor available and took care of the area. No attitude. No judgment. No embarrassing comments. Just basic professionalism and common sense. A beauty treatment should not leave a client feeling judged, rushed, or embarrassed. People make sacrifices to take time out of their day for themselves. You have no idea what someone has going on in their life, how long they've been saving for a treatment, or how much it may have taken for them to finally make that appointment. The absolute bare minimum should be making them feel comfortable and respected. I am beyond disappointed with the Glendale location. It is unfortunately the closest location to me, but I would rather drive farther than ever deal with this kind of treatment again. Management seriously needs to address the way clients are being treated at this location.

The pain is mild and totally tolerable, and they'll dial it down if needed. But if you want the best results, it's worth pushing through a bit.

Ive been with Karin for a few years now and every time I see her no matter the procedure my experience is more than perfect. She's so personable, kind and absolutely hilarious. She makes you feel like you're going to hang out with one of your girlfriends except you're getting stabbed while trying not to laugh about something she's said. Even with all that being said it when it comes down to it she does amazing work. She's not one of those that tries to sell you on everything she can. The opposite really. There's been many times she's told me I don't need something I want and refused to give it to me for my own benefit. After my filler appointment, I noticed migration and reached out to have it evaluated. Instead of my concerns being taken seriously, I felt dismissed. I was told that it was "just the way I see them," rather than receiving a thorough or supportive assessment. An attempt was made to dissolve the area, but too much was dissolved. When I returned to correct it, a different filler was used, which left my lips uneven and with an unnatural shape. Despite this, I was told I would need to pay more if I wanted additional filler to fix the issue, something I felt was caused during the initial treatment Communication was also very frustrating. I left messages with the front desk and sent emails using the contact information provided, but did not receive a response for an extended period of time until she noticed my review Overall, I did not feel supported as a patient, especially when concerns came up after treatment.
