For the longest time I wanted to donate my hair but I was scared to go short. I made an appointment with Pearl. She did wonders calming my anxiety with reassurance throughout the whole appointment. Going short for the first time, I had an idea of what I wanted and Pearl listened to what I had in mind and made it happen. Also, the first time I dyed or had my hair bleached. Pearl gave me tips and advice on how to maintain the color and style. I was very satisfied with the whole experience. After a few months, I went into a retouch and once again Pearl toned my hair to the ideal color I wanted. It has taken me years to find a salon that listens to what I want and makes it come into life. Also, while sitting in the salon, the ladies were all very welcoming and friendly. I do not recommend you getting your hair done with Cesar. We made an appointment at 1pm for my daughter's prom. Well, he showed up at 2:15pm. After an hour of struggling with her hair, I approached him about it. He just flat out told me he couldn't do it. This was at 3:15 and my daughter had to be ready by 5:30. Thank God we were able to find someone else to do her hair. He is not reliable, he lied about being an experiencd stylist and he gave us a hard time before giving us back our money. read more

After Covid, my old hairdresser moved away,I researched reviews and walked into places for quotes and to feel out the vibes of different stylist and their salons after searching from the city of Brea, Whittier and Pico Rivera nothing. On my way home, I stopped at six salons in Montibello, and Beautify was my final stop. Jacqueline was amazing from the moment I walked in she was friendly and took the time to listen to what I was wanting for my color,cut and style, and although I came in 2 days before New Years Eve no guarantee I would get an appointment, so I prayed and she called me the next day for a opening due to a cancelation. Jacqueline and her sisters have a very unique trait. Not only are these sisters all Color Specailist and very knowledgeable competant in their techniques, and the family business is "Epic." First time here, I've heard they're great for blonde color...After I got my hair done, I was overall happy with the results. I redid my ombre and went blonder. My hairstylist was a woman named Tania, she was nice but I felt that it took forever to get my hair done. I'm not sure if they were understaffed or what but I didn't think it would take as long as it did. I had my appointment for 11:30am but did not get seen until almost an hour later, which was a little frustrating. Finally when my hair was done, i was a little surprised on the price since my friend had gone to the same place and was charged $75 by a hair stylist named Aimee (which was out of town that day). My hair ended up costing $125 (big difference from what I was expecting). We both have long hair and I did partial blonde while my friend had gone full blonde. The work overall was good, there were some areas that I felt needed to blend a little better. Tania said that she guarantees her work for a week and said that after I wash it, I shouldn't see harsh lines (due to my ombre). I still have a few but don't really have time within a week to go back to her. Not sure if I'll come back - if I do, I might go with Aimee and see if it's cheaper and faster. I just tried this place cause I needed my hair done for an event and couldn't get a quick appointment with my normal hair stylist. read more

I received a hair cut and dye from Jackie this past weekend and she did an AMAZING job. My hair transformation took up most of her shift but she was very patient, she explained the entire process to me which I very much appreciated. She transformed my hair completely and provided me with tips on how to maintain my hair healthy and care for the ash blonde. Beautify Hair Salon is filled with amazing hair stylist! I had originally come here only because my old hair stylist had moved locations. Something happened to him and he was unable to show up. Both the owner and her sister (who also works here) went out of their way to accommodate me. A fellow co- worker of theirs lives fairly close and he was able to come do my hair. Ceaser is not only gifted but is a great conversationalist! I asked for a balayage. I showed him a picture of what i had envisioned and was not disappointed!! Peral helped him tone, dry and style my hair. Literally without her, I would of not been finished by 2:30pm( we started at 10am). I couldn't believe that two different stylist were working on my hair! They did their best and it definitely showed!!! I went to work and got lots of compliments. I walked in last Saturday with no appointment Hoping someone could blow dry and curl my hair for my baby shower. I Have to agree with Ang M. Several different times I have tried to make appointments with Tanya, but she never bothers to return phone calls or text messages. Hard to keep clientele when they can't trust you will respond. Clients should be able to make appointments directly at the Salon to avoid this issue. Also, this salon claims to do the "Brazilian blowout" ... Do not be fooled, they have the Keratin treatment, NOT the original Brazilian blowout. Big difference! Main difference: Brazilian - you wash your hair same day. Keratin - product is left on hair for 3 day without being able to wash, or pin up. Worst thing is that hair feels like you have "lard"... Yes, MANTECA on your hair, and not to be able to wash it .... Don't think so. Please do your research before making your decision. read more

This place is a rip off. There prices are so elivated it's so ridiculous they charge like if they are located in Beverly hills. I scheduled a appointment to do highlights on my hair, I got there 10 min early my hairdresser got there 20min late and they never have there business doors open eventhough they see you outside they don't acknowledge you standing there. They open very late if u go early morning it's always closed, u would expect them to open early but no just appointments and walk ins must be a no for them because as soon as walk ins walk in they look at each other like she don't have a appointment I can't take u in its very awkward. Another thing they just have 1 chair available were they sit you to process hair color. Among the girls who work there are rushing each other to get to use the chair for there clients very unprofessional for expensive prices they are charging they should invest in better supplies there. My hair is very damage now I payed over 175 for it definitely not going back there. This is me being very honest and real save your money and go somewhere else. read more
