Went in for a haircut & wash. They have a special right now, adding in a hydrating treatment that stays in your hair for 10 mins while you're getting your hair washed. I asked for long layers and trim my bangs but keep them long. Joan (or Joanna.. I'm sorry I don't exactly remember) did my hair. She was professional, friendly and did my hair quickly with precision! My hair blowout had me feeling good afterwards lol After she finished drying & cutting my hair, she asked if I wanted any modifications but there was no need, I got exactly what I was looking for. It was peaceful inside, only a couple other clients were in there at the same time as me. They have complimentary water, snacks, and coffee for their clients which I really appreciated. Overall, it was $75 for wash + cut + blow dry. These women work hard so the price was worth it & honestly it's a good price in Los Angeles. I went in for a money piece and a hair cut, the appointment was set up with Alejandra G. I asked for a haircut and a money piece on the front, I wanted it gray/silver to ease my transition into full gray while adding a little drama. The appointment went well, the hair cut was good..I liked it, the money piece took a lot of time to bleach but looked good coming out, the problem is that within a couple of weeks the hair color turned yellow like corn hair. She did mention I should use blue shampoo but I don't believe any toner/gray color was added to the money piece and it wasn't explained as such. if you have curly hair and you wear it curly, i would look elsewhere. i am really disappointed. i hate to post negatively, but imagine my shock when i woke up the next day and noticed how crazy uneven my haircut was (picture attached). i left in such a hurry and didn't notice how uneven it was because i put so much blind trust in her skills. i had originally asked for it to be at my collar bone with layers starting at my jawline when pulled straight (not curly). i showed her a picture of my hair from a couple years ago with the exact cut i was asking for. i explained that if the layers are too long, my curls get too busy in the bottom and flat on the top - leading to a triangle shape. she got the length wrong, the layers wrong, the shape wrong. the worst part of my experience was that when i made the time to drive all the way back the next day to address how uneven it was, the hairdresser didn't acknowledge this mistake at all nor did she didn't say sorry. my hair is even now, but a lot shorter than i wanted it. i tried styling it curly on easter sunday and i just couldn't help but cry that night looking back at the pictures because i have a trip to hawaii in a couple days and this haircut is making me feel ugly. now i have to find a last minute appointment somewhere and pay more money to fix this somehow. i'm only giving two stars instead of one because she did a good job cutting my toddler's hair. read more

She has provided her expertise and applied her skills when I decided to go from years of black box died hair to blonde in 1 day. She did not turn me away but instead taught me about hair maintenance after color . Love that she did that b/c I had no clue . I've had several sessions of bleaching b/c I'm crazy and have decided to go dark then light then back to black to now red . However my hair has survived through the trial. I got an appointment with Ashley. She's a very nice and friendly lady. I did let her know I wanted long layers all around with face framing layers and certain bangs while I got seated. I got a dry cut but with a dry cut I was atleast expecting to wet my hair with a spray bottle - I didn't even get that. My hair was very long already down to my lower back so I let her know I did want all my dry ins off. My hair was that long I could of been able to get more long layers. NO. I didn't get my long layers I got a really big cut on my hair which I didn't mind at first cause I needed the cut but I expected more layers. I only received my certain bangs and a layer or so. I wont be returning back, as I did come here once before and that time the experience was great but now it just seems like she didn't put effort into my hair. My hair didn't come out too blonde or too brassy. It came out that perfect caramel color that I had been wanting. Andrea is also pleasant. She doesn't talk too much or too little.
