**5/5 Stars -- Outstanding quality without the inflated prices!** If you are looking for a reliable, family-friendly shop in Rosemead, **One Stop Hair Design** is the place to go. Unlike some of the overly trendy or "boujee" spots around town that charge top dollar for a mediocre experience, One Stop gives you incredible quality and serious bang for your buck. The customer service here is top-notch, and the entire staff is super welcoming and down-to-earth. A big shoutout to **Kenny**--he's an amazing barber, extremely attentive to detail, and always delivers a sharp, clean cut. They do accept walk-ins, which is super convenient, but they stay pretty busy because of how good they are, so booking an appointment ahead of time is definitely recommended. Highly suggest checking them out! read more

This is hands-down my favorite place to get my hair done. Jenny, Holly, and the rest of the team are true staples in the community, skilled at cutting and styling all hair types. I've been coming here for the past five years, and it's one of the few places I consistently trust. For the gentlemen looking to get a perm, I highly recommend Holly--she's an absolute pro when it comes to my hair. read more

20 bucks for men age 9 to adult, price used to be reasonable but not anymore, not surprised if they will hike it again, sorry but I will take my business elsewhere read more

Been going here for over 10years now and the most I can say is that they're as unorganized as ever. Made an appointment but ended up with someone else, which is fine doesn't really matter to me but the haircut felt really rushed like a money grab. Sad to say that after coming here for so long. Definitely a hit or miss here. Sad to say it'll probably be my last time coming here. read more

i've been coming for years and the price has never changed. i always get a shampoo and a trim. i usually get my hair cut by hana, who does a really good job. but over the years, i've gotten my hair cut by a few of the other women and i always leave satisfied. they are quick, but i never feel rushed. they also NEVER cut off more than what i ask for, which is something i really appreciate. parking lot is a bit cramped so i always park on the street. read more

Dina's the best, not much parking, friendly environment. Call for an appointment because it can get real busy. Everyone's skilled to cut your hair so don't worry. read more

Came at 5pm after work. There were no other customers in line but the lady only spent 9 minutes on me literally. Seems like she didn't give a fuck about my haircut. She didn't clip my hair to part my long hair into sections when cutting it. It all happened so fast. My haircut came out choppy. My request was so simple. I didn't ask for a specific style. I only needed one inch trim and long layers yet she managed to fuck it up Needless to say, I'll never come back here. Paid $25 plus small tip for a 9 minute haircut. 9 MINUTE HAIRCUT ON LONG HAIR... no exaggeration. I got unlucky with the lady that cut my hair. Maybe another lady would have done a better job but I'm not going to take my chances here again. And I will not be posting pics of my hair cus it's nothing great to show off. read more

The staff members working at the shop were friendly. However, when I went in for a haircut, I showed the stylist a reference photo of the look I wanted, but they failed to replicate it. I was very displeased with this--despite providing a specific style reference, the cut I received did not resemble what I had shown them. I might have been able to accept it if they had simply left my hair a little longer on top, but that wasn't the case. I really don't like this hair. I hope next time I come it will better read more

1.5 stars. There's usually 3 or 4 different barbers. Most of them seem to be fine but there's one older guy that isn't good. Just try to avoid him and the hair cut should be fine. I asked him to trim a little and he cut like 80% of my hair then asks if I had to go to work the next day read more

1st time here, the lady cuts hair so bad. She talked too much while cutting hairs. Did not concentrate on what she was doing. Really bad. I asked her to trim my son's hair a bit shorter it seems that she did not listen to me. Never come back here. Bad service. So horrible I would give a negative star. They don't satisfy customer at all. Bad! Bad! Bad! The quality suck. Horrible service. I recommended people not to come here for a hair or any other color or dyed hair. No way in hell I come here. read more

I went on a Monday at around 2pm. I didn't have any issues with parking. There was someone available immediately. I got a layered haircut for $25. It was a quick in and out. I don't remember the name of the lady who gave me this cut. Sorry! She was nice and welcoming. I was unsure about it after the cut. When I went back home and straightened it, I liked it. :) Would come back. read more

My son comes here for his haircuts. It a good place. His hair looks nice. We usually go by appointment only.

Feels just like getting a haircut in Hanoi with ladies talking about their weekend plans and dating life in Vietnamese. No frills place. Mens cut was $17 excl tip. read more

Just had Hannah cut my hair. Quick easy and great service along with value. Men's haircut was $17 at the time of the review. I started by sharing her my pictures and asked if she can do a half clip straight fade. She said of course and delivered her promise. She washed my hair and then proceeded with the cut asking me preferences on how short and etc. She also taught me how to say handsome in Vietnamese lol. Overall great value, especially while waiting for my oil change at Kuan's nextdoor. Will be back! read more

I took my daughter here for the first time. It was a male hairstylist which I was hesitant about doing my daughter's hair but it turned out decent. I asked for a layered cut with the back a V-shape cut. He did just that. But I did let him know I didn't want it too short but he kept cutting. The bangs were too short that I couldn't put behind her ear anymore, I didn't like that. It was shorter than I wanted but the overall style turned out decent. I would come back again but I'll be more stern next time about the length. I called to ask about price for a kids haircut a female told me $17, but when the man finished the cut he said $20. I brought this up to them & they honored the price I received over the phone. So I recommend calling to get a quote before going in. read more

I LOVE GETTING MY HAIRCUT HERE! I have been getting my hair done at this place in the past 2+ years with Holly. She is an amazing hair stylist and always accommodating. I always get my son's haircut with Leena. She knows the cut and length for him. She always treats my son very patiently as he has eczema and tends to get itchy during haircuts. I recommend making an appointment as they're quite busy especially in the weekends. read more

I haven't been back in so long because I HATE the parking. It's so hard to find parking sometimes. But I had a day off on a weekday and my hair was getting way too heavy, so I decided to come cut it. Because of Covid-19 I was skeptical coming. But my hair is so heavy it was causing me headaches since I have to tie my hair up for work. And I didn't want to bother my friend to cut it. Everyone wore a mask and there was plastic next to each seat. They try not to sit you next to someone. Peter did such a good job! Even though he didn't understand me much because language barrier he made sure to ask someone exactly what I wanted. I was nervous he was going to cut it too short but he did as I asked!! He took his time with my hair since it was pretty long before. He will probably be the person I'd be coming back for! He's so sweet too! My hair was TANGLED because my hair is dyed so it's dry. But he was trying to comb it out gently! It took literally 20+ mins because it was that tangled. He knew how to comb my hair without it hurting a lot. The lady however, she combed it like yanking on it. You can see the tear in my eye because it was painful. He literally held it section by section and hold near my scalp and combed it out. Made me feel so much better. The price was worth!! Definitely worth. Washing my hair, cut and thin was $30. WORTH IT. read more

Small hole in the wall haircut shop for simple cuts. About 4-5 hair dressers in here so you can get seen quickly. Can't be beat for men's cuts - $10 to start excluding tip. Not sure about women's cuts, as most of the clients were men when I visited with my partner who was getting his hair cut. Quick in and out of the shop, and it's his go to for monthly cuts. Parking is tight, but with fast turnover. Generous hours so you can be sure to find time during your week. Hours: Monday - Friday 9:30-7:30; Saturday 9:00-7:30; Sunday 9:00-7:00. read more

I have specific reservations for the haircut style that I want, and I walked in with pictures on my phone of the hairstyle that I wanted. All 4 of the barbers on call actually rushed over to see the pictures on my phone of what hairstyle I wanted, making me feel important/valued. I feel like they sent their best barber to treat me. The cut came out well. At the time when asked what I thought, I said "not bad", but now I would change it to a "good". They are very attentive to what you want as long as you are specific and honest about what you want. They will try to get the hairstyle YOU want, not necessarily the hairstyle that they think would look best on you (which is a plus as some barbers recommend what they think would look "better", putting you in an awkward spot). They spent over 2 hr 30 min on my haircut and perm. Great attention to detail and what you want. Will come again. read more

Holly is a pro, she's my new barber! This place is $15+ for men's hair and they wash your hair and behind the ears- which is real nice of them. Really happy I've continued to come to this place. Complaint to COVID-19, all employees wear masks, have shields at their reception desk, and all waiting seats are 6 feet apart. Temperature is taken upon arrival, and a waiver is signed to confirm that you do not exhume symptoms of the virus. They are currently not taking appointments due to high demand, and for obvious reasons. 10/10 by them ensuring safety of the customers. read more

This was my first time coming here. I went in for a haircut with Deena (I think that's how it's spelled). She was very nice, very welcoming and gave me advice on how it would be best, on the length of my hair, since I wanted it really short. I let her do what she thought what look good and she did an amazing job. She even told me if I didn't like it then she'd go shorter (like how I wanted it). But that didn't happen because I loved it! Layered haircut $25. I would definitely come back or refer family & friends. read more

I WOULD NEVER COME HERE. I told them I wanted thin bangs that were below my eyebrows. He kept cutting and when we would tell him to stop he wouldn't. He would keep trying even though multiple times we would say to stop cutting. They are uneven and choppy. Then, in a different language, they were saying that it because of my hair type and that it was too greasy, and that's why it looked bad. They wanted to charge us $55 for this. We payed $25 being generous and walked out. BAD HAIRCUTS AND THEY TALK BAD ABOUT YOU. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. read more

Worst haircut ever. Never coming back. The guy with the light brown hair who cut my hair receded my hairline on the side of my head near the temple for no reason with no razor guard. I asked for a skin fade and he shaved the entire back of my head so it's completely flat. Horrible experience. read more

I've been coming here for years just tagging along with my brother. Full disclosure: I only cut my hair once or twice a year! So take that into account... Yeah I know I should cut my hair more frequently, but I want it to grow longer and when I see it repeatedly shortened its discouraging. I'm really not a girly girl so I don't dye/bleach my hair or get it "styled". Low maintenance is my style. ;p So for the minimum annual trimming of split ends to prevent tangles and neatening of the edges this place is acceptable in my book. Like my brother Keith C. mentioned, their customer base is primarily men. Mostly they have their hair shorn into various fades or military style kinda hair cuts. Most of their client is mix of Vietnamese, Chinese and Hispanic. So waiting for your turn you can experience a handful of languages being spoken. This place is packed around lunar new years, its a superstition that before new years you should cut your hair to cut away the bad luck. My brother and I are loyal customers because of their prices. read more

Took my BF here when they opened after being closed during the covid shut downs. We had an appt with the owner and she did a good zero fade. Everyone here just does a fade apparently. I've been going here for years, quick and easy, get a wash with the cut too.

I've been going to One Stop Hair Design for almost 2 years now. The place is amazing where they give you a hairwash and a cut after. Highly recommend getting a haircut from the ladies since they actually do a proper fade. Stay away from the guy unless you dont mind high and tights. Overall, a great place if you need a haircut on a budget. read more
