The staff members working at the shop were friendly. However, when I went in for a haircut, I showed the stylist a reference photo of the look I wanted, but they failed to replicate it. I was very displeased with this--despite providing a specific style reference, the cut I received did not resemble what I had shown them. Came at 5pm after work. There were no other customers in line but the lady only spent 9 minutes on me literally. Seems like she didn't give a fuck about my haircut. She didn't clip my hair to part my long hair into sections when cutting it. It all happened so fast. My haircut came out choppy. My request was so simple. I didn't ask for a specific style. I only needed one inch trim and long layers yet she managed to fuck it up Needless to say, I'll never come back here. Just had Hannah cut my hair. Quick easy and great service along with value. Men's haircut was $17 at the time of the review. I started by sharing her my pictures and asked if she can do a half clip straight fade. She said of course and delivered her promise. She washed my hair and then proceeded with the cut asking me preferences on how short and etc. She also taught me how to say handsome in Vietnamese lol. I took my daughter here for the first time. It was a male hairstylist which I was hesitant about doing my daughter's hair but it turned out decent. I asked for a layered cut with the back a V-shape cut. He did just that. But I did let him know I didn't want it too short but he kept cutting. The bangs were too short that I couldn't put behind her ear anymore, I didn't like that. It was shorter than I wanted but the overall style turned out decent. I would come back again but I'll be more stern next time about the length. I called to ask about price for a kids haircut a female told me $17, but when the man finished the cut he said $20. I haven't been back in so long because I HATE the parking. It's so hard to find parking sometimes. But I had a day off on a weekday and my hair was getting way too heavy, so I decided to come cut it. Because of Covid-19 I was skeptical coming. But my hair is so heavy it was causing me headaches since I have to tie my hair up for work. And I didn't want to bother my friend to cut it. Everyone wore a mask and there was plastic next to each seat. They try not to sit you next to someone. Peter did such a good job! Even though he didn't understand me much because language barrier he made sure to ask someone exactly what I wanted. I was nervous he was going to cut it too short but he did as I asked!! He took his time with my hair since it was pretty long before. He will probably be the person I'd be coming back for! He's so sweet too! My hair was TANGLED because my hair is dyed so it's dry. But he was trying to comb it out gently! It took literally 20+ mins because it was that tangled. He knew how to comb my hair without it hurting a lot. The lady however, she combed it like yanking on it. You can see the tear in my eye because it was painful. He literally held it section by section and hold near my scalp and combed it out. I have specific reservations for the haircut style that I want, and I walked in with pictures on my phone of the hairstyle that I wanted. All 4 of the barbers on call actually rushed over to see the pictures on my phone of what hairstyle I wanted, making me feel important/valued. I feel like they sent their best barber to treat me. The cut came out well. At the time when asked what I thought, I said "not bad", but now I would change it to a "good". They are very attentive to what you want as long as you are specific and honest about what you want. They will try to get the hairstyle YOU want, not necessarily the hairstyle that they think would look best on you (which is a plus as some barbers recommend what they think would look "better", putting you in an awkward spot). He would keep trying even though multiple times we would say to stop cutting. They are uneven and choppy. Yeah I know I should cut my hair more frequently, but I want it to grow longer and when I see it repeatedly shortened its discouraging. This place is packed around lunar new years, its a superstition that before new years you should cut your hair to cut away the bad luck.
