People want to know what my skincare routine is - so let me tell you all the great things about Ms Jessi James and her skills. Look - when I met Jessi. I was clueless when it came to skincare. I've struggled with rosacea for as long as I can remember. My face was constantly in pain, burning, and fiery red. It was embarrassing to walk out the house without makeup because my skin was constantly commented on in public - concerning comments asking if my skin always looked like this. The dermatologist's treatment plan was to try a prescription topical but warned me it could cause rebound redness meaning not only would it not work but it would make my rosacea worse. Sure enough, second application and I was in pain and looked like I had a chemical burn. The derm said my only option was $5,000.00 laser treatment that I'd have to get annually. Feeling completely defeated by my experience with the dermatologist, I switched my face wash and moisturizer to get back to basics and when the redness started to lift a bit and I could see sun damage and acne scars, I got on Yelp to look for an esthetician. I'd only ever had two facials before so didn't know what to expect. I reached out to Jessi and straight up said I wanted a chemical peel. Oh how naive I was. LOL Jessi booked me for a consultation. I was a bit nervous, embarrassed, and out of my element but the minute I met Jessi I relaxed. She is so sweet and kind and I could tell she really cared about this consultation. My experience with my facials in the past have been prebooking a service that I wanted, walk in, and get the service, leave. But Jessi had me lay down, turned on her light, moved a magnifying lamp over my face, and performed a skin analysis. You could almost hear the gears turning inside her head. She came up with the ultimate treatment plan to get me to my goal of a chemical peel but first there was a lot of work to do to treat my inflammation and repair my skin barrier. This is the main benefit of working with a solo esthetician - customized plans. I kept all my appointments with Jessi and I eventually got my chemical peel! Several to be exact! She cleared up my skin so well that I was completely shocked to find that I had a cute mole on my cheek. I go to Jessi frequently for many treatments now. Sometimes, I just book an appointment and tell her to do whatever she thinks I need. I regularly get dermaplaning and Hydrafacials. You must try her oxygen face mask. Because Jessi has worked such a miracle on my face, I now bring my tween in every two weeks for a tween facial. My kid gets horrible acne and blackheads. I didn't want my kid to end up with acne scars like her father and I and when I could no longer manage it at home, I knew what I had to do and texted Jessi right away. Like clockwork, my tween sees Jessi every 2 weeks, sometimes sooner if needed during a flare up. Not a single scar on my kid's face and that's thanks to Jessi! My kid is a picker so that is very impressive! Also, she will text you after treatments to check in. You aren't alone during your skincare journey - she's right there to help you. That's not something you will get at a medspa. Environment: the treatment room is clean and cozy. The lights are low. THE BED!! The bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever laid in and it heats. The sheets are so soft and tucked so tightly in. The perfect cocoon. The comforter that tops it is a great weight. If you need a nap and want great skin - you know where to go. Pricing: Jessi's prices are in line with other facial treatments except you get the added bonus of a customized treatment. If you book a facial but she thinks your skin could benefit from a little extra TLC, then you are in for a treat. Products: Okay, I knew NOTHING when I first came to her but after spending a year doing research on products and joining multiple groups, I can confidently say that she stocks the best products for her treatments and for retail sales. I don't even bother buying skincare on Amazon, Sephora, or Ulta. I just text Jessi and ask her if she has a product in mind that I'm looking for and would you know that many times she has special ordered a product for me? BUY THE LIP OIL. Equipment: I ask a lot of questions, always absorbing information, and can claim that she uses the best equipment in her spa. The bed, lights, LED red light therapy device, and that beautiful Hydrafacial machine. Many places offer generic hydro facials but Jessi has the Hydrafacial machine itself and is certified - everything else is imitation. Atmosphere: Very relaxing and she is just the sweetest. I never feel any negative energy in the room. It's always good vibes. Parking: Lots of parking in the plaza. I have no trouble finding a spot right outside the door usually. Do be careful to watch out for cars backing out while you are driving.

My MUA said my skin looked smooth and there were no breaks in the skin, so my makeup was absolutely flawless due to Jessi's care and support. I booked a $120 acne treatment online, expecting a normal acne/facial treatment. Within the first few minutes of arriving, the staff started talking about how their treatment works best only if I also use their own products. When I asked about the price, I was told the products were over $300, which already made me feel uncomfortable. What bothered me even more was that they said the treatment would include a TCA 5% peel, and that I basically had to purchase their sunscreen for $50 because other sunscreens would not be good enough. This felt like a forced upsell before the actual service even started. The treatment itself was very rushed and underwhelming. The process was basically a quick cleanse, applying the TCA 5% peel, some extractions with a comedone/extraction tool, and then about 10 minutes under an LED light. The extractions were not thorough at all, and honestly did not feel professionally done. I also did not see a clear sterilization process for the tool, and at one point the tool seemed to touch the treatment bed/linen area, which made me concerned about hygiene. The entire treatment was only around 20 minutes from start to finish. For a $120 acne treatment, this felt extremely rushed, careless, and not worth the price. I have been getting facials and acne treatments for years, and I know my own skin well. This was one of the most disappointing experiences I've had. I would not recommend this place, especially if you are uncomfortable with aggressive product upselling, unclear hygiene practices, or very short and rushed services.

Last year I caved and tried a laser center that specifically advertised for removing it. That treatment did nothing, didn't even reduce the size and was a waste of money. At 4:18 PM today, I received a text asking me to arrive 10 minutes early. I get off work at 5:30 PM, so I rushed through traffic, found parking, and then walked around the building trying to locate the office. Despite all of that, I arrived at approximately 5:46 PM -- one minute after my actual scheduled appointment time. When I arrived, I was told that I was "15 minutes late" and that my appointment would not be accepted. I understand businesses need policies to keep their schedules running smoothly, but asking a client to arrive early does not change a 5:45 appointment into a 5:35 appointment. If arriving by 5:35 was an absolute requirement for receiving the service, that should have been clearly communicated when the appointment was booked--not in a text at 4:18 PM the same day. What made the experience particularly disappointing was the way I was received. After rushing from work, dealing with traffic and terrible parking, and walking around outside in nearly 90-degree weather trying to find the location, I wasn't greeted warmly or even with eye contact. There seemed to be very little effort to understand what had happened or find a solution. I simply felt dismissed. I had actually been excited about coming here and had already told several of my female coworkers about your services. I was hoping this would be a place I could recommend and potentially become a returning client myself. Instead, I left feeling that a customer who arrived essentially on time for her scheduled appointment wasn't worth even a conversation. I hope management will review what happened and clarify the arrival policy for future clients. More importantly, I hope some consideration is given to how clients are received when something doesn't go perfectly according to schedule. Policies matter, but so does kindness and customer service.

Dawn greeted me and said she would have Jessica take over as she was free at the moment. I was walked to the back after discussing my current concerns about my skin. Jessica then proceeded to explain what the process would entail. From what I took from it, it would consist of x2 facial washes to help take off any debri or makeup helping to form a canvas for the skincare which was about to proceed. She then showed me a table within a dim room, with some wonderful relaxing music in the background, and asked me to dress down from the top so she could work the products to my neck, chest, and shoulder area. After the cleanser, Jessica places a towel on my face, then did a hydra facial... that was lovely:) then she did some extractions, had a couple more products placed on like the vitamin c and oxygen treatment, lactic acid, and then placed me under an led light to help stimulate collagen growth. After this, I believe she just placed another warm towel (or was this before, sorry... it was relaxing so I didn't pay attention to every detail), and then she lightly patted into my skin some powder sunscreen and a moisturizer. Then I was done! As we walked back to the front desk, she educated me on their Eminence skincare line and even gave me a verbal preview of their new skincare line coming in two weeks. As a first time customer, it's nice to know that they take time in their clientele even to the point of giving us a short reminder as a follow-up for our next facial. Overall, this was a great and relaxing experience. It's slightly pricier than other local facial areas, but one thing is for sure, I felt like it was individualized care. I didn't feel like I was on an assembly line. Jessica was amazing. Loved her "soft hands" and how she took the time to answer my questions and converse on other health topics. We all are just trying to make this world a better place... aren't we?? Lol. Anyway, the next time I come in, I think I'll have the plasma facial. You have to be certified to do this, so she recommend I call Dawn for this to have the service done. I'll have to do a little more research on this. But hey, I suggest everyone does a little more research before shoving topicals in their face or trying out new procedures. Good service that I've learned has been around for about 10 years (if I'm not mistaken). For all of you organic lovers, this is a wonderful place to go to since they offer an organic skincare line. Maryam has been incredible as my provider for fraxel laser, microneedling, and RHA redensity treatments. I've also received diamondglows here. It's a great refresher for your face. Maryam also provided tips on maximizing results and always takes your opinion in her recommendations. Altogether, my face has vastly improved. You can argue the treatments are pricy, but buying packages will get you a discount. I just think that's how the industry works so always get packages if you can. This place has a variety of treatment options, though they don't offer something like subcision, which is a more-involved procedure. But I'll just get that somewhere else and continue to come here for other treatments. Of course, they've recommended fillers and such for me. Rha redensity is like one. But they've been respectful that I prefer treatments like fraxel laser and such. There is a reason why they recommend filler though, because it does show faster results than others. The rha redensity provided the most improvement in a shorter time. They also have the skincare you need to purchase with ease. You're going to say those are expensive but they're not selling you products like La mer cream for $400. There is a parking lot, and there's always been space when I went, but the traffic getting there can be a bit much. All in all, I recommend doing at least one treatment here to see how you like it. OK, I admit it... one of my favorite splurges is getting a facial, so I've been to a lot of south bay and peninsula day spas over the years, but after my first session with MeMe, I haven't even thought about going anywhere else. As a one-person business (she works in a small salon with two other one-person businesses -- a fantastic hair stylist and a masseuse), she is able to manage her own schedule and she has always been great at arranging appointments around my work schedule. She clearly loves what she does and is constantly doing research to find the best products and treatments so she can give her clients the best possible experience and results. She carries a couple of excellent product lines, but she doesn't push you to spend a fortune on them (like most spa employees do). When I told her I really liked the products I was using (DHC), she went to their website and thoroughly researched the products to look for any red flags based on her knowledge; she said their ingredients were good and she only flagged one item because she thought it wasn't packaged well enough to maintain the quality of the product over time (they have since repackaged that product into exactly what she thought it should have been). She keeps extensive notes and every facial is completely custom, so if you have problems you want to work through, she will be your new BFF! She also does a great job with waxing. I had some bad waxing experiences many years ago and only decided to try it again because she was so good with her facials. I don't think you can ever say that waxing is pleasant, but her sessions are by far the best I've had and don't leave me stinging or covered with tiny red dots. MeMe is the best!!! read more

That's something that I notice everywhere I g; if its clean Lidya stays lol. Then Meme took me to a room in the back, which was also clean. She was very informative about my skin, and it was not even the appointment when she teaches me about it. She was also very nice as well and does not pushes you to buy the products she sells. **BAD** I cannot think of bad things from this appointment. Something that is bad for us but great for her is that she is very busy. My next appointment is until the 7th; I wish it was sooned. That's shows that she is a great esthetician. I really liked going to Meme because she was so much informative than the other estheticians, and dermatologist that I've gone to. She explained to me the type of acne I have and what I can do. She works with you, and is reachable via text or call outside of business hours. She told me that if I had any questions or for some reason I needed to let her know something about my skin to let her know. The best thing about MeMe is her integrity! I can trust her to keep my best interest at heart when it comes to my skin! My anti aging or hormonal acne treating facials are ALWAYS refreshing! And they make me feel beautiful. MeMe is the only person I will allow to give me a facial because others have made me feel inadequate and caused breakout. I have to admit I was a little hesitant to get eyelash extensions. I have seen too many women who have had them and they were painfully obvious and facing all different directions. I decided to give in and try them after hearing about Meme from beautify your skin, her great work, and her extremely competitive pricing. I was so excited!!! She did such a good job! And have never been loyal to any esthetician b/c I never felt as if they merited a second visit. But I come every 2 weeks to see Meme. I took my son to see MeMe based on reviews I saw on Yelp. She is GREAT. He had really bad acne that didn't seem to get better no matter what we tried. She was able to look at his skin and figure out what was going on. His acne is 90% better and he looks great. She really knows what she is talking about. A big plus - she gives you two options to take care of your skin - over the counter purchases and more expensive purchases she carries and never pushes products. Go see her! read more

Meme is fabulous. Her facials are wonderful and she also does waxing. She makes bikini waxing painless! She helps you to take care of your skin on a budget by telling you products you can buy at the drugstore instead of trying to sell you all the expensive stuff. People want to know what my skincare routine is - so let me tell you all the great things about Ms Jessi James and her skills. Look - when I met Jessi. I was clueless when it came to skincare. I've struggled with rosacea for as long as I can remember. My face was constantly in pain, burning, and fiery red. It was embarrassing to walk out the house without makeup because my skin was constantly commented on in public - concerning comments asking if my skin always looked like this. The dermatologist's treatment plan was to try a prescription topical but warned me it could cause rebound redness meaning not only would it not work but it would make my rosacea worse. Sure enough, second application and I was in pain and looked like I had a chemical burn. The derm said my only option was $5,000.00 laser treatment that I'd have to get annually. Feeling completely defeated by my experience with the dermatologist, I switched my face wash and moisturizer to get back to basics and when the redness started to lift a bit and I could see sun damage and acne scars, I got on Yelp to look for an esthetician. I'd only ever had two facials before so didn't know what to expect. I reached out to Jessi and straight up said I wanted a chemical peel. Oh how naive I was. LOL Jessi booked me for a consultation. I was a bit nervous, embarrassed, and out of my element but the minute I met Jessi I relaxed. She is so sweet and kind and I could tell she really cared about this consultation. My experience with my facials in the past have been prebooking a service that I wanted, walk in, and get the service, leave. But Jessi had me lay down, turned on her light, moved a magnifying lamp over my face, and performed a skin analysis. You could almost hear the gears turning inside her head. She came up with the ultimate treatment plan to get me to my goal of a chemical peel but first there was a lot of work to do to treat my inflammation and repair my skin barrier. This is the main benefit of working with a solo esthetician - customized plans. I kept all my appointments with Jessi and I eventually got my chemical peel! Several to be exact! She cleared up my skin so well that I was completely shocked to find that I had a cute mole on my cheek. I go to Jessi frequently for many treatments now. Sometimes, I just book an appointment and tell her to do whatever she thinks I need. I regularly get dermaplaning and Hydrafacials. You must try her oxygen face mask. Because Jessi has worked such a miracle on my face, I now bring my tween in every two weeks for a tween facial. My kid gets horrible acne and blackheads. I didn't want my kid to end up with acne scars like her father and I and when I could no longer manage it at home, I knew what I had to do and texted Jessi right away. Like clockwork, my tween sees Jessi every 2 weeks, sometimes sooner if needed during a flare up. Not a single scar on my kid's face and that's thanks to Jessi! My kid is a picker so that is very impressive! Also, she will text you after treatments to check in. You aren't alone during your skincare journey - she's right there to help you. That's not something you will get at a medspa. Environment: the treatment room is clean and cozy. The lights are low. THE BED!! The bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever laid in and it heats. The sheets are so soft and tucked so tightly in. The perfect cocoon. The comforter that tops it is a great weight. If you need a nap and want great skin - you know where to go. Pricing: Jessi's prices are in line with other facial treatments except you get the added bonus of a customized treatment. If you book a facial but she thinks your skin could benefit from a little extra TLC, then you are in for a treat. Products: Okay, I knew NOTHING when I first came to her but after spending a year doing research on products and joining multiple groups, I can confidently say that she stocks the best products for her treatments and for retail sales. I don't even bother buying skincare on Amazon, Sephora, or Ulta. I just text Jessi and ask her if she has a product in mind that I'm looking for and would you know that many times she has special ordered a product for me? BUY THE LIP OIL. Equipment: I ask a lot of questions, always absorbing information, and can claim that she uses the best equipment in her spa. The bed, lights, LED red light therapy device, and that beautiful Hydrafacial machine. Many places offer generic hydro facials but Jessi has the Hydrafacial machine itself and is certified - everything else is imitation. Atmosphere: Very relaxing and she is just the sweetest. I never feel any negative energy in the room. It's always good vibes. Parking: Lots of parking in the plaza. I have no trouble finding a spot right outside the door usually. Do be careful to watch out for cars backing out while you are driving.

I booked a $120 acne treatment online, expecting a normal acne/facial treatment. Within the first few minutes of arriving, the staff started talking about how their treatment works best only if I also use their own products. When I asked about the price, I was told the products were over $300, which already made me feel uncomfortable. What bothered me even more was that they said the treatment would include a TCA 5% peel, and that I basically had to purchase their sunscreen for $50 because other sunscreens would not be good enough. This felt like a forced upsell before the actual service even started. The treatment itself was very rushed and underwhelming. The process was basically a quick cleanse, applying the TCA 5% peel, some extractions with a comedone/extraction tool, and then about 10 minutes under an LED light. The extractions were not thorough at all, and honestly did not feel professionally done. I also did not see a clear sterilization process for the tool, and at one point the tool seemed to touch the treatment bed/linen area, which made me concerned about hygiene. The entire treatment was only around 20 minutes from start to finish. For a $120 acne treatment, this felt extremely rushed, careless, and not worth the price. I have been getting facials and acne treatments for years, and I know my own skin well. This was one of the most disappointing experiences I've had. I would not recommend this place, especially if you are uncomfortable with aggressive product upselling, unclear hygiene practices, or very short and rushed services.

Walked up to the front door, which was locked, then the owner and the coworker approached me. I was seated politely, was asked to fill out some paperwork about my skin regimen. Dawn greeted me and said she would have Jessica take over as she was free at the moment. I was walked to the back after discussing my current concerns about my skin. Jessica then proceeded to explain what the process would entail. From what I took from it, it would consist of x2 facial washes to help take off any debri or makeup helping to form a canvas for the skincare which was about to proceed. She then showed me a table within a dim room, with some wonderful relaxing music in the background, and asked me to dress down from the top so she could work the products to my neck, chest, and shoulder area. After the cleanser, Jessica places a towel on my face, then did a hydra facial... that was lovely:) then she did some extractions, had a couple more products placed on like the vitamin c and oxygen treatment, lactic acid, and then placed me under an led light to help stimulate collagen growth. After this, I believe she just placed another warm towel (or was this before, sorry... it was relaxing so I didn't pay attention to every detail), and then she lightly patted into my skin some powder sunscreen and a moisturizer. Then I was done! As we walked back to the front desk, she educated me on their Eminence skincare line and even gave me a verbal preview of their new skincare line coming in two weeks. As a first time customer, it's nice to know that they take time in their clientele even to the point of giving us a short reminder as a follow-up for our next facial. Overall, this was a great and relaxing experience. It's slightly pricier than other local facial areas, but one thing is for sure, I felt like it was individualized care. I didn't feel like I was on an assembly line. Jessica was amazing. Loved her "soft hands" and how she took the time to answer my questions and converse on other health topics. We all are just trying to make this world a better place... aren't we?? Lol. Anyway, the next time I come in, I think I'll have the plasma facial. You have to be certified to do this, so she recommend I call Dawn for this to have the service done. I'll have to do a little more research on this. But hey, I suggest everyone does a little more research before shoving topicals in their face or trying out new procedures. Good service that I've learned has been around for about 10 years (if I'm not mistaken). For all of you organic lovers, this is a wonderful place to go to since they offer an organic skincare line. Maryam has been incredible as my provider for fraxel laser, microneedling, and RHA redensity treatments. I've also received diamondglows here. It's a great refresher for your face. You can argue the treatments are pricy, but buying packages will get you a discount. I just think that's how the industry works so always get packages if you can. This place has a variety of treatment options, though they don't offer something like subcision, which is a more-involved procedure. But I'll just get that somewhere else and continue to come here for other treatments. Of course, they've recommended fillers and such for me. Rha redensity is like one. But they've been respectful that I prefer treatments like fraxel laser and such. There is a reason why they recommend filler though, because it does show faster results than others. The rha redensity provided the most improvement in a shorter time. They also have the skincare you need to purchase with ease. You're going to say those are expensive but they're not selling you products like La mer cream for $400. There is a parking lot, and there's always been space when I went, but the traffic getting there can be a bit much. All in all, I recommend doing at least one treatment here to see how you like it.
