The business is pleasantly laid out, beautifully decorated and comfortable - not just for the client, but anyone accompanying them. Last but definitely not least, Laura's pricing has not gone through the roof as her years of experience (and presumably costs!) have increased. She is professional, reassuring, and amazing at getting you comfortable while getting the zaps so that you notice it as little as possible. I would still feel like I was getting a spa treatment instead of having hair incinerated out of my follicles. They recommended an excellent 40 SPF sunscreen cream that is also a moisturizer so it's only 1 step in the morning and I'm fully protected. I don't remember what the machine was called but it was in the front of the clinic, second door on the right, right beside the front desk. Anyway, after treatment my upper lip was extremely red and felt raw she told me the redness will go away after a couple of hours... I immediately went home and applied polysporn and majority of the Redness went down after a few hours.. on the right side of my lip it was still extremely red and felt extremely uncomfortable and by the night I noticed a little bubble coming out. Immediately I knew that I had been burned, when I called the next day and spoke to fariba I think was her name she told me that it would go away after a couple days and everything would be fine... well it's been a few months after and I am left with an extremely dark spot and it looks like it's caved in right beside my lip. It looks absolutely disgusting that it appears in every picture I have and is sooo hard to cover up... I will NOT recommend this place to anyone and now I know that when I feel pain/ uncomfortable to immediately stop which I hope never happens again. I came on a Friday to get a pedicure with shellac, I was charged $55 and paid in cash. Half of my pedicure peeled off in the next few hours. I came back the next day to get it redone and asked to pay the difference to have acrylic toes done instead as I was extremely disappointed with the shellac. Instead of understanding my frustration and trying to resolve the issue the lady at the front desk started getting extremely frustrated and told me it would be an additional $100. I explained to her that instead of getting the shellac pedicure redone I just wanted to pay the difference for the acrylics and she kept using a rude tone of voice so much so that I had to ask her to keep her composure. She was grunting and rolling her eyes constantly. She was extremely distasteful and should not be working at any establishment ever. She told me someone would be coming to do the acrylics for me using the rudest customer service tone I have ever heard. Sammy who ended up doing my toes was amazing! She was friendly and we had a great conversation. When I was leaving I was to pay the $20 difference and I paid with card. My total showed up at $22.60 on the machine but when I left I noticed a surcharge of 54 cents that was charged and Brenda at the front desk had not notified me that I would need to pay a surcharge for using a credit card. A credit card surcharge which a customer is not notified of is illegal in Canada. The website also shows that an acrylic pedicure is $50+ yet I was told it would be $80. I understand length and shellac are all surcharges but the jump from $50 to $80 makes zero sense. The prices are misleading. Once again, the lady at the front desk is awful. Do not go to this salon if you want good service. The nail ladies working there are all kind and polite except for the extremely rude lady Brenda at the front desk. Do not recommend. Edit: after posting this review the salon has blocked me on their instagram out of fear that customers will see my 100% honest review. Please note that my review is honest and truthful and do not waste your time and money at this establishment. I would like to see Brenda let go as she is ruining what could otherwise be a good business.

If you come here, you do not have to worry about who will be doing your nails. Just know that it will turn out great. I spoke to the owner (Lena) and she confirmed that she personally screens each of her nail ladies and tests them on their ability. This truly shows! I got a mediocre massage from a non rmt specialist B. Charge was obviously not covered by insurance. Bad customer service. They will never see me again nor will I ever have anything good to say about this place.
