This used to be my favorite place , after they changed owner ship it went downhill for me. I loved all the ladies and of course Ben, which I have not seen in a while . The last time I went there I got my nails done by him but this last time he was nowhere insight . The gentleman that took care of me was very rude, he wasn't nice and did a half ass job on my toes. Didn't even do cuticles , I am not one to complain . So the lady that did my nails fixed my toes. The energy in there is just so off, maybe it's a bad day but I wasn't pleased. My nails chipped the following day! My toes were done so fast that it looked very sloppy. Unfortunately I won't be returning here , I have to find another place to go to. read more

Usually great and my "go to" spot. However, I was super unsatisfied with my last visit. The quality of my nails were average but the service was terrible. None of my concerns were taken into consideration, I got multiple eye rolls despite voicing my concerns politely, and she was rough and rushing my nails despite there being no one else in the shop. I had told the lady multiple times that I did not want acrylic nails and preferred them short. I requested gel but she had said that the gel breaks easily so I said that I would do acrylics but prefer them shorter. She kept them longer than my preference so I politely asked for them shorter, she scoffed and cut them basically to my natural length - so there was no point in the acrylics... rather than asking for what I want or cutting it bit by bit. then she refused to make the edges rounded because "they're short and the shape won't show." Lastly, I had picked a color but she got the number mixed up. She brushed on the wrong color, said "it's cute right?," I said "yeah, but...," and then she cut me off and quickly started painting the nails the wrong color. At this point, I was so disappointed and annoyed to even correct her so I just let it be. I like to give places second chances but this was the second chance. With this same lady, I've had this issue in the past. She wanted to do long nails with designs, I politely declined and explained that my job in healthcare does not allow me to, and she rolled her eyes and attended to my request very rough. They still came out cute and not bumpy... just completely NOT what I asked for. read more

This is a good nail salon. I enjoy coming here because I like supporting businesses in the city in which I live and the prices are pretty reasonable. It seems that lately I have not been getting my appointment times when I arrive and it takes a ripple toll on the rest of my schedule. I will hopefully try it again when my schedule has a little more wiggle room and I can wait 15+ minutes past my appointment time. This nail salon is good for those who have wiggle room in their schedule. Hopefully I can join in with that group and come back sooner than later. read more

I don't get my nails done often, but when I do it's at Tammy's Beauty Salon! Just got a pedicure by Sandy and it was heavenly, I felt so relaxed while she worked on my toes. She is very professional and experienced and I 10/10 would recommend anyone get a pedicure done by her! After my pedicure, I moved over to Lucy for my manicure. So the two stars are for my service with Su and her service. 0 stars are for my pedicure which was with someone else. First off there's one lady in there rude as heck talks mess in her language. The lady doing my pedicure was scrubbing my foot and took the skin off my ankle.. so i started to bleed had to stop to mend. Then i wanted a gel pedicure and she's like oh sorry i used regular polish.. I would have recommended based on Su and her work and service but because the bad outweighed the good. Go somewhere else. I was placed over in the back by the restroom and supply room, they definitely should keep it a little more cleaner. Floor, walls and different surfaces appear to not have been cleaned in awhile, but I definitely was told to sanitize my hands lol There was also a lot of gnats that I seen which made me feel digested. I would like to have seen the tools to come out a sterilized sealed bag but I'm not sure if they were even sterilized. Majority of the chair buttons didn't work and there chair was pretty hard and uncomfortable, I was really hoping I could relax but the chair definitely made that a little hard to do. The nail technician was nice but I could definitely tell she was fairly new. The prices are fair even tho for the $45 Deluxe Spa treatment they apply lotion to your leg but no leg massage, I added on a callus removal but I still have calluses... Its safe to say this is a nail salon I'd never return to. read more

They use the individual lashes and it took about 30-40 minutes to apply on both eyes. Mom gave me a gift card for a mani/pedi. The facility is nice and clean (that's a huge+). Initially, I had negative thoughts because the lady/manager was not very friendly and was kinda snappy when I asked questions. However, I decided that I was going to make her talk to me. So I started complimenting the facility and asking questions about how long they've been at that location, and soon she began laughing and talking in a friendlier manner (everyone is entitled to a bad morning). The lady who actually worked on me (Sandy) was very nice, friendly, and conversated willingly. She did a good job and I liked her. It wasn't the best mani/pedi I've ever had, but that just means I'll tell her what I want next time. The massage chairs were good (not like some where you can barely feel it). First time coming and I'm in love My nail technician was Diane she was so sweet and knew exactly what I wanted when I told her.. She was gentle and was making sure she didn't hurt me (I had just removed some stubborn acrylics) she took her time and made sure I was pleased with the shape of my nails... I showed them the design I wanted, was told it was going to be $10 extra for gel, fine by me.. Ben did my design. He was very careful about how he polished and made sure I put my hand carefully under the UV. He also explained why my gel would wrinkle at other locations which I wish I would have known before.... I found this small gem from a lady who I meet at CVS on Carson. She spoke so highly of this nail salon and told me she's been getting pedicures and manicures her for over 10 years! I was shocked so I had to try it out. Everyone is very friendly and the customers are like a large family. They've been coming to this Salone for 12-15 years. This tells me they har doing something correct. I've been her three times and the service is nice and clean. I would like to try another nail tech because, I'm not completely satisfied with my fills. Kathy does my pedicure and she's the BEST. I recommend this place ,but please make an appointment otherwise you will be waiting awhile and the weekends are the worst. I usually have a wonderful experience at Tammys, Ben is my go to for nails and Angie and Lee for pedicures. When I went in today unfortunately Ben was not in so I got my pedicure by Angie which was great as usual. However the manicure was done by someone else whose name I didn't get. When she first put the nails on one was crooked and even after pointing it out she just filed it which didn't make a difference but I thought she could fix it once she put the pink powder on, she didn't. After I paid and left I noticed she didn't even measure up my nails to make sure my nails were even. I just walked in and got a good pedicure and manicure done in less than an hour. I don't need to be over the top pampered. I really liked Diana, who was very nice. She did my fingernails as well as my toenails. (Very good! I don't need to tip 2 separate people!!!) She was precise, meticulous, but had fast hands. She knew that I have no time to waste. I love that! Best of all, no annoying up-sales from her. The only thing is they don't have OPI polishes, so I'll just have to bring my own. The polish rack isn't organized by color hues, so it's hard to choose a color. But that's just the OCD in me! I'll be coming back here for my $20 gel manicures! My sis had her doubts with them but I convinced her that their customer service was good. Oh how they proved me wrong. I'm currently in their shop as I'm writing this review. So I came about 3 hours ago with my sis, who actually called in. Tammy saw both of us together and just ignored me. When it finally reached my turn, another lady already took my seat. ( nobody cared to tell me, " hey, this is why this is happening, they just ignored me like I don't exist). Well it's time to pay (my sis is paying for both of us) and they tell us ," our internet is down, so they machine isn't working. You have to go to the bank now! )" with an aggressive tone, like we are they Ones that shut the internet down. Smh. if this happened a couple hours ago, while didn't no one bother to mention that their Means of payment is down. The owner, Tammy actually came at my sister like six damn times! With an angry tone telling her to go to the bank and get money to pay! My sis was trying to explain that she has a credit card and not a debit with her . They weren't listening. Damn ! I was shocked and mad at the same time. That's not How you treat your customers. My sister has been a regular customer for years. With this incident I don't think we are coming back. I am really picky about my nails. I get acrylics because my natural nails are so weak and always bend and peel off, but I like them very short (because I type better and they grow very fast) and natural looking. Diane and the guy (sorry, forget his name) do a very good job at shaping the nails. I've recently been to other salons and they usually look like press on nails and I have to nag them to get them to file them down short enough. Pedicures are good as well, though they are done very quickly. Prices are very reasonable but its annoying when places charge for me to use my card. read more

Applied my nail polish unevenly and over charged me for my manicure. I've gone there for lots of years but I feel I can't go back after this time.
