Being the Beauty 4 U fan that I am, I absolutely had to stop at this location as soon as I stumbled across it. 1st thought - This place is HUGE! Maybe even ginormous! I knew immediately when I walked in that I would find everything I needed. 2nd thought - This place is extremely organized, makin it very easy to find what you are looking for. 3 - The staff is great! Very helpful. They made you feel like they WANTED your business, whereas some beauty supply spots clearly couldn't care less about you or serving you as a customer. I arrived to the store at 4:49 on a Sunday, the store closes at 5pm. The door was locked, so I knocked. The security guard came to the door and stated he locked the doors 20 minutes ago. How dare they have hours until 5pm and don't adjust the schedule to accommodate customers that are already in store that may stay later. I guess they tell them to leave at 5pm sharp, too. The worst store, they also don't have many things in stock, I only came for conditioner. I will make sure I never have to come back here. read more

I'm a professional hairstylist and have been a patron since they've been in the area. I called for a price for an item and they refused stating they do not disclose prices over the phone. As a business owner I don't understand why a store that doesn't provide services would refuse to give pricing info over the phone. Anyhow , the ORS website said bEauty4u is a vendor and I needed a particular shampoo. I ventured off to b4u and they had every item but the shampoo I wanted so I asked the manager about showed him the product .. My first problem is that the people who work there try to act like they're just "walking around" when I reality they're watching you. It is annoying and unnecessary and makes your shopping experience uncomfortable. After spending 60 dollars in this overpriced store I walked out of the door. I had my headphones on as I always do when I walk around the store by myself. Then this flashlight cop security called me all the way back in the store (mind you I was already at my car). I came back and he said "you didn't hear the sensor go off?" ... I said "obviously not." Now normally in any other store where they have common sense and they don't try to vilify their customers, if you just saw me at the register, obviously the cashier did not properly take the sensor off and they usually don't make a big deal out of it. Not here ! He told me to go see the owner who was at the register . I was furious. You mean to tell me that you thought it was appropriate to inconvenience and embarrass me because your workers are incompetent and do not know how to properly take a sensor off ??! I was disgusted. Customer service rains supreme..ALWAYS. I'm a VIP member of this store (the store has a membership card that I signed up for and you receive membership points that you can redeem when you shop). Ive been a frequent shopper here for the past 3 years. I purchased crochet braid hair in April and never used all the packs I orignally purchased. The receipt did state exchange within 30 days. I will say it was my fault in not reading the small itty bitty fine print on the receipt. I went to purchase 7 more packs of hair and the manager would not exchange my one additional pack I had from the previous sale. It was not opened and not touched also in same condition as when I bought it. I could see if I had opened it AND wasnt planning on making an additional purchase. Nearly 5 years of being a loyal member, my last visit was this evening. I bought a wig on the 9th, barely two days ago. I took it out the package the next morning to wear. Later in the day I lightly ran my fingers thru it and a track came out! I began to run my hand thru the inside of it, I felt how loose the tracks were. I lightly ran my hand down the back of it and cud feel the loose parts of the tracks coming thru the hair. This should have been an exception to their "No exchange, No store credit, Final Sale" policy. It was obviously of poor craftsmanship. I've bought wigs here before so I had been confident with my purchase. Had I thought for a sec it was something I did, I wud not have went back. She (Jin) insisted that I combed it, but I hadn't. Even IF I had, I should be able to anyway. I said none of my other wigs have done that. She said that they're different companies. As if THAT makes it ok. She told me to show her where the track came out. I told her I didn't know. I thought to myself, how would I know that with a wig full of hair?!? I was like is she serious right now?!? I tried showing her the parts of it where the tracks weren't laying down but it was apparent that my attempts were going nowhere fast. Clearly it's profit over principle here. The wig was about $50 bucks. I cud have gotten something for less off the store floor and probably wud have been better off...that 50 is nothing in comparison to what I've spent here over the years. There was like "0" accountability for what they sold me. I asked for a store credit or partial store credit, exchange for another but all I got was assigned blame. Like I was trying to con them or something. I left the wig on counter and said "well you keep it then, I won't be back." Now they have my money and their product, a win/win for them.
