This was my second scalp treatment experience, and honestly, this one stood out the most. The treatment included a scalp cleanse, shoulder massage, arm massage, and head massage. I really wish I had booked the 90-minute session because it felt that good. The pressure points, hair tugging, and overall technique were incredibly relaxing, and Kevin clearly knows what he's doing. The products used were also amazing--one had a crisp, clean scent and the other was more floral and calming. It genuinely felt refreshing and helped reset my senses. The spa itself is small at first glance, but once you walk through the sliding doors, it opens up into a calm hallway with a relaxing spa vibe. My only small note is that noise from other rooms can sometimes carry, so it's not completely silent--but it didn't take away from my experience. Nice, that I also was able to book the same day I made the purchase and than they also accommodated me since the day of my appointment I called to reschedule for an earlier time within four hours of my original appointment. My therapist was awesome -- super professional and made everything feel easy. She started with a hair scan and facial, then gave me the most unreal scalp treatment + neck and shoulder massage. There was a lot of time of water just running through our hair and fingertips just pressing against our heads. The difference between the before and after photos was lacking. I brought my best friend here for her birthday. We walk in and they greeted us. When it came down to them checking our scalp and hair they were SO FREAKING RUDE to my friend. Yes, she does have thick hair but they did not need to complain about it in front of us. They repeatedly kept complaining about how dead her hair was, even though it's not dead. Her hair is just thick and curly. When it came to us going to the back they complained about her the whole time saying she had too much hair and they didn't want to touch her hair. While we were laying down all I kept hearing is the lady working on my friend telling my friend to "RELAX" and my friend saying "ouch!" The lady was sooo rough with my friend that she got bruises on her shoulders. The blow dry service is them blow drying your hair halfway and you walking out with your hair half wet. To top it off, when we were gathering our stuff they had the nerve to ask us "Can we have a tip?" NO SHAME! I should be giving a tip because I'm happy and pleased with the service I received, not because I'm being asked. If you have thick or curly hair do not come here. I think the workers should take some training to learn that everyone has different types of hair. read more

I wish that I could give more positive feedback, but I need to be honest about my expectations vs my reality. Back in December, I started breaking out because of stress and my skin became more oily. Beauty & Beast posted on Instagram about a model call and I responded because I was interested in getting a facial at a discounted price. After that appointment, the owner recommended a Hydrafacial package for me (this included 3 sessions and a custom spray). She also showed me before and after photos of a girl who had similar acne as me. In the after photo, her acne was almost nonexistent. She told me that I would have similar results as long as I used the spray every day and if I went here once a month for those three sessions. I decided to go for it. Aside from getting facials at Beauty & Beast, I followed the owner's instructions for skincare at home. After cleansing my face at night, I sprayed the formula evenly. I would wait about 20 minutes for it to absorb fully and then apply a little bit of moisturizer, which is what she suggested. I also told her which products I was using and she gave me some helpful information so I followed her advice. Don't get me wrong. I do believe the Hydrafacials and the custom spray helped because my skin was more inflamed and oily back in December. I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but I thought I would have clearer skin by now. I've been doing other things like washing my pillowcases every week, drinking water to stay hydrated, staying away from alcohol, not wearing makeup, using pimple patches, etc. The owner and the other people who work here are very sweet, but I wish they would've been completely honest with me about fixing my acne issue. I learned the hard way that results vary with individuals, even with the same routine. Just because the package worked for the girl in the before and after pictures doesn't mean it works for everyone. I should've seen a dermatologist from the beginning to help me figure out what kind of acne I have. Hydrafacials seem to give a light surface exfoliation, but they're not a "one size fits all" solution to acne problems. read more

I had the Lymphatic massage and my daughter had the Hydrafacial. My massage was exceptional. Kevin worked to get all of the nasty knots out of my back. The treatment included a firm massage, heated cupping massage and a hot roller ball massage. I have increased mobility and all of my muscles are relaxed and loose! My daughter's hydrofacial was wonderful. Her skin is glowing and supple. She does have some acne, so a few more treatments will be required, but she is looking great. They offer a variety of service - facials with Eminence products (sooo goood!), hydrofacials, massages, scalp treatments, and more. They also offer multi visit packages that are reasonably priced. I truly wish I had saved a photo from my first visit to show the difference. But let me just say this! these treatments saved my scalp. Before coming here I was dealing with constant irritation, redness, bumps, and massive hair loss mostly due to my career which requires me to use heavy gels and sprays daily. Wow! The best $59 I've spent in a while. I tried the Head Spa and got the best shoulder, arm, hands and back massage! The experience started with a warm greeting at the front desk. English was a little broken, but kindness is a universal language. They took a close up photo of my scalp and showed me where I had thinning hair. Next they walked me to a semi private room with two beds and a curtain between the beds. I was pleasantly pleased with the cleanliness and plushness of the bedding and robe. The head spa started with a spritz of hair tonic and a semi-dry scalp massage. Followed by a shampoo massage, then a conditioner massage. Next the put this steam dome over my head and shoulders and I got to breathe in an invigorating minty steam. While I was under that dome, the tech began massaging my arms, neck, shoulders and hands. I was very pleasantly surprised how much upper body massage came with the head massage. It finished with a blow dry using a Dyson blow drying and Moroccan Oil serum for added moisture. Oh and I almost forgot, they gave a quick red light and RF plasma treatment for the scalp. Overall, I was very pleased with my visit and will come again. I regret visiting this salon! I had a walk in appointment and my scalp was in considerably good condition prior. The head spa service included excessive, repeated scrubbing with fingernails, which is unlike any scalp treatment I've had before. It was not gentle. Even the detangling and washing of my ends was rough. My scalp was red, swollen, and painful after the service. The photos of my scalp are AFTER photos, not before. The stylist told me my scalp was red because I scratch my scalp (which is not true), basically blaming me for the pain I was in. My scalp currently has painful scabs around the crown. I have never experienced this reaction from other head spas, and I wish I never wasted my money on this place. I would not trust this salon with my scalp's health. read more
