She's amazing at Brazilians and a really good gal to talk to. You can trust that she will be detailed and meticulous. New clients may not know Stacie is no longer at the studio that is pictured. First of all, a 50% deposit is required in order to book the appointment. I had no problem with that but didn't realize until after that I had chosen the wrong date due to the date being so small in font. I received a confirmation that showed a date that was further out than I desired and wanted to cancel right away but there was no option to. I responded to the email, calendar invite, and sent a text all stating that I needed to cancel the appointment right away. At this point my appointment should have been cancelled and pending deposit charge should have been cancelled as well. It was not. Instead she responded argumentatively and told me that she would cancel but I had to wait (and so does my deposit) until the following week whenever she was back in salon. While the amount of those funds may seem trivial to some, to others they are not. For me this disconnection and the way it was handled is unprofessional and inconsiderate to the client. Doesn't really make me want to even give the service a chance.

Family I know who come here too, come regularly and agree that the treatments here are of amazing quality. From brows to facials and more, this is the place to go. It's a very cute cat-themed shop with comfortable places to sit and books to read while you await your appointment. I do suggest people come check this place out and even try to spot some of the cat figures and statues and see how many you can find. I have been coming to Lisa for years! I have always been happy with my cuts, color and her customer service is amazing!! She can work around my schedule to accommodate my needs and I never have to wait! My girls both come here and I have referred other friends also! I started going to Chakay for my lashes and can not rave enough about her too! Love my lashes, they stay on and it's definitely cut down my make up time in the mornings! I had tried booking in January with another stylist, Gio, but our schedules didn't align. I had worked with Gio before at another hair salon in Berkeley and she is the sweetest! I found CS Beauty Salon through their Instagram page and was redirected to their online booking platform. I reached out to Carina first before booking, just to see if she was still accepting new clients. The appointment had been filled by the time she got back to me, but Carina was nice enough to squeeze me in for an appointment on another day, that same week. There is parking in the back of their building, but it looked a little tight to go through and there is a lot of oncoming traffic to turn into, so I just parked at Dollar Tree and walked over. The salon looks remodeled and everything is brand new and clean. I believe they opened about 3 years ago? There are complimentary snacks and a coffee bar for you to enjoy. Carina was easy to talk to and she is very friendly and welcoming. I appreciate her reaching out and communicating with me when she was running behind with her current client. My appointment included a wash, cut, and blow out; I opted for long layers and face framing. She did a great job and I'm very satisfied with my cut! She told me that the number indeed is no longer valid and each of the hairstylists are contacted by their personal phone number to schedule appointments etc. I typically don't go to the same hairstylists unless if the price is cheap/ the person cuts well. Personally, $40 is a lot but I wasn't only give those services. Ann was the first hairstylist to ask me the temperature of the water I use to wash my hair since she noticed I have thinning hair. Even telling her I have genetic hair loss, she reassured me it can be combatted in some ways. I feel confident to come back to get my hair cut by Ann after my very first time here. Definitely out of my budget in some ways but where can you find this package for this price? I highly would recommend Ann! She's such a sweet person too!

I texted Ningma on Wednesday requesting an appointment on Thursday and she responded in minutes that she had an opening on Thursday at 12:05pm. When I arrived expecting to have my eyebrows waxed, Ningma informed me that threading would be best. I informed her that I've never had threading done before and was a little scared. She assured me that she will be as gentle as possible and not to worry. She was absolutely right. She was very gentle and I did not feel any discomfort during the threading.
