Yes any hair dresser can throw bleach on, but not all care about the integrity of your hair, and are honest with you on the results and it doesn't come out yellow or orange. I looked at the photos and loved what I saw. The ladies hair was blonde AND healthy! This was perfect! I booked my appt which was really easy, I inquired and received a phone call right away from Alonso. I gave him all my information, my inspo pic and what my hair was at now. Alonso was warm, welcoming and I could tell he enjoyed what he does and was excited. I came in to my appointment and from the minute I walked in the hospitality was unlike any other. I was offered food, drinks, consistently asked if I was okay and comfortable which really matters. I had been going to another salon for two years, which I won't mention the name and for two years, I was not ever able to get exactly what I was looking for and was told it wasn't possible or we will "work towards that", let's be honest hair coloring isn't cheap and who wants to pay hundreds of dollars for something they aren't satisfied with?! Not me. In one visit Alonso was able to give me exactly what I was looking for and was extremely honest with me and gave me multiple options and prices upfront, which was extremely important. I have gone to other salons where you get your hair done. It is somewhat like you had hoped and the prices are astronomical and you have no choice, but to pay it because the work is already done. I was extremely impressed with his honesty as well as the options provided, depending on what my budget was. We both chose an option that suited my situation and he showed me just some of what he can do and I am so excited for next visit and what else he can achieve with my hair. I love it already and can only imagine when it's all completed! The salon is adjacent & combined with a flower shop, which who doesn't want to smell and look at beautiful flowers while getting their hair done. First off everyone there was extremely friendly and welcoming. It only took me one visit for me to make the choice of this to be my new go to salon. My blonde hair was pulling a lot of golden color, which I absolutely hated and Alonso was very honest with me on the results that would be provided without over promising me and just telling me what I wanted to hear which I was very thankful for. I wanted to go from golden blonde with multiple dimensions of golden to a pure more icy blonde. It's not easy finding the exact results you want with blonde without frying your hair and omg I absolutely love my hair and have already booked my next follow up appointment. I am a girl who uses getting my hair done as my treat for myself as I don't do my nails or anything else so getting my hair done is a really big deal for me. I am so happy to have found Blue Petals and will certainly recommend this place to any one, male, female, blondes and brunettes. This place is a gem and Alonso and his partner are the sweetest.

Dana is incredibly talented across the board, but what really stood out to me is how she listened and delivered exactly what I asked for. That can be hard to find, and she absolutely nailed it. She is especially amazing at color correction. If you've ever had a bad color job or need your hair fixed, she truly knows what she's doing and takes the time to get it right while still keeping your hair healthy. While I was grateful to have gotten attended the same day I called, it really did feel like I was fast money instead of a client. To begin she was very rough brushing my hair out with a comb instead of a brush and she went straight down running into knots and ripped some of my hair out instead of starting from the ends to the top to avoid any breakage. She also did a refresh on my already bleached hair with a fantasy color so when it came down to washing that out she basically wet all of the right side of my face taking my makeup off. She got water in my left ear as well just plopping her wet hands all over the sides of my face. Then she installed the tinsels from a kit that I had brought myself. Her demeanor was pleasant enough but I can't imagine trusting her with intricate work such as extensions that she claims she also services. When it came down to charging me she kept tapping on the register buttons and I grew concerned and hits me with a total of approximately $305. I really was confused I mean this is the high desert and they are charging hourly here. I'm a hardworking individual myself I get the hustle but the pricing breakdown truly did not translate to what I received, when I travel to San Bernardino and LA to upscale salons I have no issue paying that much because I receive much better care! And complementary drinks for that matter.. When I called the salon back the next day to try and resolve this issue I spoke with Joe I believe is his name possibly the manager?
