I am an extremely picky person when it comes to doing anything permanent on my face (no surgeries or prior microblading experience). So it took me forever to trust someone with my brows. A few months ago I stumbled upon this place by accident when dining at Kenneth Village. Needless to say her team made scheduling a breeze for me in less than 5 minutes. And I feel lucky to be chosen as a model for their masterclass :) it was a fun experience & painless. The service which I booked for was combo brows which is a technique great for someone like me with more scarce spots on the tail. It basically blends microblading with powder brows. Super cool & new! Upon arrival, Elle numbed my brows so I barely felt any pain. She made sure to double check the color + darkness with me. Meanwhile she sketched an outline and ran it by me to ensure that's the shape I wanted. Expect a little bleeding & redness after your treatment, it's completely normal. The more dry your skin is the better it holds the ink. Just remember to follow the pre & post care and you should be golden! Aka no coffee or alcohol before your treatment and Aquaphor is your best friend for 10 days ;) I'be been getting so many compliments ever since I did combo brows and my brows aren't even healed yet! When I lived in the UK I was a successful well known actress who worked in theater and TV on TV for many years. During that time I did countless modeling and photo shoots and worked with top London stylists and leading make-up artists. So I think I know a good stylist when I find one. When I first came to LA in 2004, I went to several in Beverly Hills, etc...they were good, but then I stumbled across Lida and her team, completely by accident. I have never looked back. I've added my recent hair cut photos, please note, I don't color my hair anymore - decided to let the grey grow through, I am 60 now! This was my hair cut by Lida 6 weeks ago, just before my birthday in March. The real Lida talent is that 6 weeks later, I can wash my hair and go - the cut is so exemplary, I don't have to blow dry or use product to make it look great. Called and made an appointment for a facial. Hard to make an appointment due to their time schedule and mine, but finally got one in. The room where you get your facial is too small. The gurney is against the wall so the person doing my facial can't walk around me, but it was okay. She searched for every black head she could find on my nose and face. Very thorough. Also very painful having those pushed out, but I felt like I definitely got my moneys worth. The second time I went, I had a different person doing my facial, and she wasn't as through as the first person, but it was ok. Getting your underarm waxed here isn't painful. It was okay, but I feel like the European Wax Center does a better job. Still gonna come back here though for facials and underarm waxing due to the cost and convenience of free parking.
