He demanded that I come show him before he would discuss it further. I came to the shop to show him and he said it wasn't their responsibility. The manager tried to tell me it was just an ingrown nail, even though I had seen a doctor and been diagnosed with an infection, not an ingrown nail. I asked for a refund. He agreed to one, but wouldn't give me a receipt for the refund. I had to ask for an apology. I called the next day to ask about my refund receipt and he was rude again on the phone. I really wanted to love this place because they are close to my house, but the lack of customer service is just horrible. I came in wanting to get a mani and pedi but seeing they were busy, I asked if they could just remove my acrylics and I would come back another day. The reason I needed them removed was because several of them had (painfully) fallen off after having them done here. It would have taken less than 5 minutes to remove the nails (they done do it very gracefully) and instead they decided to make me wait behind two full manicures. I found this place on accident when my flight was delayed. I come to Florida several times a year and this is my favorite nail salon in the country. I make it a point to visit every time I am in Orlando. It is clean and the staff are amazing. My favorite part is you have the option to add on additional time to your foot massage! read more

From the very beginning, I had a bad feeling about this, but the place was empty and they could take me right in. That should have been my first warning. I tried talking with the nail tech a few times when he while he was doing my nails and he refused to say a word. He did an acrylic fill and gel polish. I asked him why he wasn't putting the base first for the gel polish and he told me that because I had acrylic, I don't need a base. That was the second warning. I gave him a tip and he didn't even look at me, much less say thank you. The next day the nails had creases, which, then turned into bubbles. Went back to the salon and told Michael, who originally did my nails what happened and he said he would fix them, but with the same polish. I told him that I did not want him to use the same product because I feel their product is obviously a very cheap brand. I don't have time to keep coming back to get them re-done. I purchased a shellac polish the same color so I ask him to use that polish. He told me that if he couldn't use the original polish, he would charge me $15. I told him that he should not charge me because he should've used a good brand from the beginning so I wouldn't have had this problem. Nonetheless I went ahead and paid him the $15 because I wanted to get this over with. I told Michael I was going to submit a negative review. Michael said "I don't care what you do." Wow! I've been there many times over 3 years-every month actually, because it's close and convenient. Usually I'm happy with my nails, but the prices keep going up and they do upgrades that aren't asked for. Last time I was there my tech was working on my Nails and someone else so I was there forever. Within a week my nails started pulling away from the painted part and my nails are breaking. I spend a lot of money there and when I showed the owner/ manager my nails when I was finally able to go there, he told me they only will redo if you come back in 7 days. Literally when I went it was 8 days because they were closed on Labor Day. He was rude and obnoxious repeating himself. I hate to be writing a 1 star review but I had the WORST PEDICURE EVER. Granted, I have been here before on multiple occasions last year when this establishment was newly opened and brought my friends and family, the pedicures were decent - a little more pricey than my go-to salon but it was new and the ambiance was great and service was good. Not so much on this visit and I would not be returning. The technician tried to up sell me on EVERYTHING (which is fine to an extent) - from manicures to gel on my toes to then upgrading my pedicure to the "$37 one" because it includes callus removal (I then looked at the pamphlet with pricing and the "Basic pedicure" does include this. I will attach a photo below. I did tell her that and she said, "No only foot scrub". I respectfully declined all additional options and opted for my regular "Classic Pedicure". The technician used the purple scrub, scrubbed the top portion of my feet and completely ignored the bottom portion since I decline to upgrade (this was a first, and I seriously thought, well maybe she isn't finished - nope she was done). She then proceeded with the pedicure and when she was done, and drained the water, she started polishing my toes without putting a base coat, now this rose a red flag. I was so astonished and confused and wondered why, so I asked. She went on to say, " oh you wanted base coat?" Since when do you have to tell your technician that you want base coat? She wiped off the polish with the towel and applied base coat at that point, then polished. I chose a blush color and that was applied so streaky and the top coat is definitely not even, you can see exactly the lines where it was applied. Needless to say, I am highly disappointed and dissatisfied, I left feeling like I needed to go somewhere else to get my pedicure redone. This salon will not be getting my business in the future. Unfortunately, I did not speak with a manager since the technician was the one checking me out so I paid the price of the pedicure and left. I was over this terrible experience. read more

UPDATE: I got my nails done Thursday by Saturday *3* nails have broken. Utterly disappointed. I go in at 2 pm, I've got 90 minutes to get out the door. I do the dip powder and have never had the process take over an hour before. The woman in booth 10 was super slow, it took *2* full hours to get the old stuff off and "finish" the process, I'll use the term "finish" loosely because she did the worst job. I left furious. She is completely oblivious to her job, she knicked me with the dremmel so many times, I screamed ow and she laughed in my face. My nails looks awful. They're uneven, bumpy, patchy, and just awful. Not only that but she chopped my long finger nails down to nubs, they're barely at my finger tips and she didn't even bother to shape them correctly. All in all a super terrible job for $38. If this is how you run your business and take care of paying customers, I'll GLADLY go elsewhere and get better service. I just paid 57.00 for the worst pedicure of my life. I asked for no dremel on my toes. They used the Dremel. I asked her to cut my toes even and she put fake nails on my big toes instead. I asked for Santa hats on my toes and provided a photo and what I got my 7 year old nephew could have done. I live local and want to like this place.
