Something came up the next day and it wouldn't have been worth injecting a zit days later. So I called to cancel and am then told they couldn't refund me. I can still come in and get the service done any time, but since it was for a one time acne lesion, I won't really be needing it. Plus I work at a nearby med spa and was only in the area. It would have been nice if someone told me upfront that if I cancelled, my money would be kept. Especially because I understand that being the case for the deposit, but I was encouraged to pay the full amount and all of it was kept. Of course I couldn't dispute the charge because it's in their fine print... A little upfront honesty and clarity would have gone a long way though.

I understand that businesses are there to sell their products and services, but in my experience, the sales pressure here was excessive. They compliment you and then quickly start suggesting that you need additional products or services, even when it doesn't seem necessary. It left me feeling like the priority was making a sale rather than being completely honest about what the customer actually needs. What really upset me was my experience with the nurse, Gea. She initially seemed very nice and professional. After doing my filler, there was product left in the syringe, and she told me my sister could use the remainder. When she worked on my sister's lips, she only injected three areas. We were told her lips would still be even, but afterward they did not look even. At that point, I felt like the limited amount used was more about creating a reason for my sister to purchase additional filler rather than achieving the best result with what was available. On top of that, there was no real visible difference in my own lips either, even though I had the treatment done. As I mentioned, she did not even use the full syringe, and it honestly felt like the situation was used to encourage not only my sister but also myself to buy more product. I personally see no noticeable difference in my face. Based on my personal experience, I did not feel that the recommendations were always being made with the customer's best interest in mind. I felt there was too much focus on selling more product. I would recommend being very cautious, asking exactly how much product is being used, and making sure you fully understand what you are paying for before agreeing to anything.
