I had a terrible experience with Dr Laser. From the beginning, the staff (Chelsey) pressured me into paying a large amount of money upfront before any services were even performed. The entire consultation felt more like a sales pitch than actual customer care. They push packages on you, pressure you to commit immediately, and make you feel rushed into paying before you've even had time to think things through. Once I decided I wanted to cancel after a few hours of thought, everything changed. Suddenly nobody would return my calls, and getting a response became almost impossible.l (including Kacie the supervisor at Santa Monica Site). I was ignored for over a week and only received a delayed email response instead of an actual phone call. Extremely unprofessional customer service. Be very careful before paying anything upfront here. They seem much more focused on locking people into expensive payments than providing good service or respecting their customers. read more

I've been coming here for some time, and recently found my experience with Kenzie to be stellar. The staff got me seated right away, and wait times were minimal. Kenzie helped listen to what issues I had in the prior time and with laser hair needs that did not go noticed. She noted that they could be remedied and then went through my options as to what they could do with the existing treatment package. I simply can't thank her kind demeanor, and quick work to be able to get me in and out of the office in record time. I would also say this location, in comparison to the Santa Monica one, has ample parking and can be easier to get appointments at. Regardless, the packages they offer can be competitive and they will fight for your business with the industry-standard laser that is used for hair removal. While I do not agree with many of the other negative reviews here, I think people's expectations versus what they receive can vary highly when it comes to cosmetic treatments. I bought a microdermabrasion facial package years back that I've had a terrible time using. I live in the South Bay so I try to go to the Manhattan beach location but every time I do I have a really bad experience. My last time I scheduled an appointment 4 hours in advance. I was taken into the appointment 10 minutes late because I was told it was scheduled last minute and they didn't even know it was on the schedule. The appointment was wrongly scheduled for only the facial so I did not get the microdermabrasion. When I addressed this with the esthetician she expressed her frustration that it was scheduled last minute and didn't even know it was on the schedule. Also the extractions were incredibly painful. I woke up this morning with bruising from the extractions. The facial was discounted from the poor experience but still cost $125. Very interesting that they still attempted to sell me additional services/ packages even after that experience. It is as though it did not fully resonate that this is not a normal business experience. I do not recommend coming to this location read more

Let the buyer be aware. I use to do fillers with Brandy and never had any problems. I did fillers with Paris at dr. Laser and super super disappointed. I got it done in June and now I have permanent bruises under my eyes and it looks worse than before. They do great with Botox but not fillers. Stay away from fillers. read more

I spent thousands on a package for several body areas. For 4/6 treatments the person doing the treatment was different every time, all set machine on very low strength, treatment itself was not thorough, one treatment lasted only 10 minutes!! I mentioned to staff many times and no solution was offered. For one appointment I rushed after work for 6:00 start time and when I arrived at 5:50 the person at check-in was so rude, said technician was gone and that she had to leave to get home. As though I was inconveniencing her. Complete waste of money. Found good technician for only last 2 treatments. Do NOT do laser hair removal here!!! read more

My experience at the Santa Monica location one hour after leaving Manhattan Beach was a 180. Nurse Kate and desk staff earned these stars, making up for errors made by other staffers of the same company. The environment, staff, and entire experience at Santa Monica was intelligent, attentive, professional, and knowledgable. Kate is an RN I've seen both at the WeHo and Santa Monica locations. She remembered me immediately from prior services, despite having seen hundreds of patients. She's truly a credit to her profession. Her professional awareness and personal sensitivity to my relatively common health issue (autoimmunity) was refreshing and reassuring. Although her schedule was negatively impacted by incorrect reservations made by Manhattan Beach (wrong service, wrong date), she made sure to do the full treatment expertly --something that clearly matters to her as a nurse and made me comfortable as a patient. The treatment itself was performed beautifully and exceeded my expectations. I look forward to seeing Nurse Kate again in the future and will always book her for my treatments. The only reason I give 4 stars is because that is still a great rating! 5 stars would have to be the best anyone could possibly ever imagine or receive. If every location was a clean, organized, and qualified as Kate, 5 stars would be deserved. This review is not for the facial - my experience there has been really good. This one star review is for the total breakdown in system and their lack of customer centricity. I had a 11 am appointment this morning. I turn up only to be told that "there is no one to do my facial. Sorry!" I was pretty shocked since there was no call, voicemail or text canceling the appointment. In fact, I received an automated text yesterday confirming the appointment! The appointment was booked 6 weeks in advance. The receptionist tried to look into what had gone wrong but didn't seem to be empowered to do anything else besides re-book me. I understand life happens and staff can call in sick. That is really where an organization has a responsibility towards its customers to make it right. The first step is to inform though. I have been a Dr Laser patient for years! I love the Manhattan Beach location - easy parking and office is always warm/welcoming and clean. I get a routine facial and Zhanetta is INCREDIBLE! She is so friendly, professional, and does an incredible job with my skin. We always discuss the current issues I am facing with my skin and she always is suggesting services or products to help with my issues. She does a fantastic job at extractions, and leaves my skin feeling brand new. I also recently did a VI PEEL with Zhanetta and I highly suggest this service! It makes the biggest difference for my skin. After my facials, I usually get a skin rejuv. It was my first time meeting Kenzie and she did great! Very professional and sweet girl. We also discussed my concerns and she focused extra on those areas. She always made sure I was comfortable and not in any pain! And lastly, I finished my visit with Botox! Gia was very friendly and again we discussed my areas of concerns, and Gia assisted where needed. I liked that she used an ice pack on the area before injection - this was a nice touch. Gabby was at the front desk and she was so accommodating and friendly! She answered any questions I had and made the flow of my apportionments quick and easy. Receptionist was 30 min late to open the door at 9am. Can happen. Another patient and I waited. I took time off from work. That's fine too. But the fact that one client who waited was given her laser treatment complimentary and I wasn't, didn't sit well. Maybe because I had a coupon that I received as a gift for a laser rejuvenation treatment that usually costs $395.00. The laser rejuvenation treatment lasted less than 5 minutes. I went to the location in Manhattan Beach Thursday, March 28, and the lady at the front desk charged my card without my authorization for a service that was not provided. I went in for PRF in my undereyes and the front desk lady, I think her name is Lauren, told me that the nurse can fill my lips with PRF. I agreed for the additional price of $100. When the nurse came in to the room, she said she could not inject my lips because she wasnt trained to do it. Lauren ran my card and came in for me to sign the machine but I told her I was not getting the procedure since they couldn't perform it so I didnt need to pay. She said "I ran the card already I need your signature" then left the room and said we'd talk about it afterwards. After my procedure, I came to the front desk and she said I would hear from her manager for my refund. It has been 3 weeks and no refund. AND my main concern is that she somehow processed my card payment WITHOUT my signature and WITHOUT my permission. I emailed their dr.laser info contact before posting this review hoping to fix the problem, and they have yet to refund me due to needing an "accounting review". The front desk lady is the one that needs to be "reviewed" for thinking this is ok to do. Will not be returning, which makes me a little sad because I will miss Zhaneta's happy positive personality and facials! read more
