I am just so happy I bought a Groupon back in April and went to see Paulette before my month long trip to Europe. Because of my previous experience with lashes I thought they will last probably 2 and half weeks - I was so surprised when I came back after 4 weeks and they were still on!!! Paulette rescheduled me twice within two hours of my lash extension appointment, which I had scheduled 2+ weeks prior. When I arrived, she was finishing up a previous appt and the girl before me was having a reaction to the service--red, watery eyes and swollen lids...probably should've turned around when I saw her. I didn't. And then I waited while Paulette set up for my appointment...didn't change the sheet that the girl before me had been lying on for approx. 2 hours...lashes lying all over the sheet. Again, didn't turn around and leave. Paulette was nice and talkative, but there are definitely other lash extension places/people who can do a way better job. The glue she uses left big gunks of glue along my lash line which makes the lashes really heavy and uncomfortable and she couldn't clean the glue properly...meaning she waited too long before cleaning it. Paulette is surely not the best or even the average--just don't go, unless you're going for something else, i.e. eyebrow tattoo etc.--she's been doing that for a longer time than lash extensions. read more

The problem I've had is finding someone who understands the right pigments and colors for my skin type and tone. The ink tends to fade very ashy on me. I can't believe I haven't written a review on Paulette. Shame on me - I'll blame on my 2 little kiddos. So, got my eyeliner done (upper and lower) and so in love. I can't tolerate pain at all but I keep thinking no pain no gain along with do i have time in the morning to do my eyes?? Nope! Paulette is amazing. She is super generous with the numbing cream and asks if you're doing ok/need to take a break. She really takes the time to make sure you're ok and happy with the results. I just did my touch up several months later (it's free) and LOVE my results. The ink she uses (I'm Asian) is a really nice black and doesn't look blue at all. Of course, I can't vouch for a year from now but when I go back (maybe I won't have to) it won't have a bluish ring when it fades. If you're thinking of eyeliner, I definitely recommend paulette. I called her to get info, and she throughly explained the whole process and she wasn't rushing our conversation. I arrived at my 4pm appointment and she took me right in. It's a pretty scary thought having someone tattoo right around your eye! After conducting thorough research, I decided I was going to go with Paulette, and I am so glad that I did!
