Sandra was with another client so she was going to come get me but luckily I found it when she was opening the door. Her shop is a small room with 2 types of chairs for clients. Communication- after I had scheduled my appointment I received a text from her just letting me know a few things. She did ask to reschedule but then I didn't get a response back so I assumed we were still on for the original appointment. I got a confirmation of my appointment/reminder so I knew I was all set. AFTER- we were setting up my next appointment in which Sandra went over when she will may be busy so I was aware. Microneedling- I bought a Groupon deal for 3 microneedling sessions for $150. I got in the chair and she applied numbing creme (korean brand that I've used before) for an hour. She explained how it would hurt so I shouldn't think otherwise and went over specific areas that would hurt the most. Sandra asked how hard she was to apply. Overall I have a pretty good pain tolerance (had my eyebrows done with the numbing cream not working) but I asked her to go softly just in case. She ended up going medium pressure because I wasn't flinching (I thought she was testing and didn't realize she started) but explained i would be bruised because of my skin tone. The whole appointment lasted about 1hr and 45 minutes with numbing and the actual microneedling. Afterwards she applied some coconut oil and 100% zinc to my face. She gave me some zinc to use as its 100% SPF which I didn't know. Overall- definitely hectic but both cases not on Sandra's part but on other customers who ran late or missed notifications. Sandra has plenty of knowledge and she was a very "go with the flow" type of person. My skin looks exactly how I would expect it and I cant wait to take a picture to see if there's a difference.

I had been researching eyebrow blading and searching for the best person to work on my own eyebrows for years. When I finally came upon Sydney's work online I instantly felt that my search had come to and end; I was right! Sydney has not only amazing reviews, wonderful customer feedback, but also the photographic proof to back everything up. And yet, she also has one more hidden gem that I did not overlook. Her customers did not seem to just stay as "customers", but became her friends after visiting her for their procedures because of the amazing way that she had an affect on their lives. Sure enough, as soon as I spoke to Sydney to set up my appointment I was put even more at ease than ever. It was like calling a friend to set up a friendly visit. After chatting for a few mins to set up my appointment I felt like I was almost going to be hanging out with an old friend. The day of my appointment went beyond smooth! We discussed again the complete procedure that I was interested in (micro blading & micro shading) and went to work on mapping out my new eyebrow shape. Now THIS PART, honestly, was the best. Sydney spent at least 50 mins mapping out what would be my new eyebrow shape. She carefully uses precision designed calipers (not some random ruler or piece of string!) to map out the shape of your future upcoming beautiful brows. I extra appreciate the fact that Sydney kept me updated and informed me of what she was doing at every step of the procedure. (She also played calming music & had water on hand for me if I was in need. How sweet!) After finally agreeing on the shape and color of what would be my future brows, she set to work. This is when the magic happened! Now, she does use a small amount of numbing cream on the brow area so that you do not feel any slight discomfort during the procedure. But Sydney seems to have magic in her fingertips because she was so gentle in her work that I ACTUALLY FELL ASLEEP! Yes, I fell asleep while having her blade my brows because she was THAT gentle! I woke up only because she had me slightly move my head to the side for an angle adjustment. To wrap things up: It's been almost a month since my 1st session & I still need to go for my touch up. I'm beyond excited because ever since the day of the procedure 1. I have had non-stop compliments on my eyebrows & 2. I don't feel so self conscious about having to wear make-up every moment of every day to fill in where there was no hair in my brows. My self confidence has returned and for that I say, "Thank you, Sydney!" A++++
