When it comes to eyebrows, I'm super picky and nervous about who could help me. I had one horrible experience a long time ago by going to a random stall in the mall, and then never left the one brow tech I had, but since she quit, I haven't gotten my brows done in over a year. I finally worked up the courage to step into Raj's salon based on the reviews I read. I waited for Raj to finish her client, I asked for a simple clean up and let her know my left brow is always raised higher than my right one, hoping she can find a way to keep them even. She was so fast, quick and painless, and made my brows look more balanced. I will definitely be coming back. She reassured me that everyone in the salon can do similar work but given my level of anxiety around this I probably wouldn't pick anyone else except her! read more

I've been here about 4 times and I've had no complaints but today was different. I called in to book an appointment and I was so sad leaving my appointment that I cried. Being that this was my 4th time I thought Renu knew how I liked my eyebrows, just cleaned up but today she chose to thin out my eyebrows and now they are 2 different shapes. After telling her I didn't like them she kept telling me I had no hair in the beginning of my brows that's why she had to follow that but I told her I had hair there. I told her I did not like my brows and she kept telling me to use castor oil. So now I'm having to use another product to help them grow out again ? After I've been growing out my eyebrows already ? Nice staff despite the worker who waxed me never properly introduced herself and the waxing was quick. It didn't hit me until after that the bed I was on (I got a brazilian) did not have disposable covers on it which for me is something that bumped it down. They also have you change into a gown- nothing was wrong about it I just wasn't used to that. But then again, that too wasn't disposable so I'm not sure if that's a one time use before they put it in the washing machine or not.. Afterwards I also realized there wasn't any plucking to ensure all of the hairs were off as most places do. When I got home and saw a good handful of un-plucked hairs I was pretty dissatisfied. Yes it finished quick, but I would have appreciated the extra 3 minutes of ensuring. It is a bit cheaper compared to a majority of places that do brazilians! But the unhygienic factors is something I just cannot look past. read more

I dislike leaving one star reviews. The waxing itself was great, fast, painless and cheap. What's not ok is double dipping into the wax. Even if I was the only person to wax for the day, you just had my underarm "germs" in. This is also a violation for CA Barber and Cosmo (Board of Barber and Cosmetology) and can get fined, so I'm not being picky right now and if someone had an infection, I just increased my chances of getting an infection. I have been getting my brows done here for awhile now! All the ladies working here always greet me, and if I bring someone with me, (usually my mother or boyfriend), they're also greeted in with a smile and a warm welcome. I usually just ask for Raj! However the few times where she has been booked/busy, the other ladies that did my eyebrows instead did them MORE than just fine! :) My go to is definitely Raj though. This place is terrible. This lady cut my face while threading my lower lip and chin. She yanked my lip so hard and skin so abusively. Then she accused me of having dry skin. Professional licensed skin care specialists can comprehend your skin upon seeing it. she had no clue how to thread. She was threading so hard that my skin was drying up.
