I would like to say my experience at this location was horrible. There was an older Asian woman who was so very very very unprofessional, unhelpful, unpleasant and very rude to me. I asked her if she was able to help me with a wig please? She told me to pick the one or ones I wanted. I took three wigs off of the heads. She then comes to me and says no no no you can't take the wigs off in a very rude voice. I told her wait. I said I ask you to help me. You told me to pick the ones I would like. She tried to then take the wigs out of my hands. I told her no, I would put the wigs back and I did. I started to leave and just go to a different hair store. But I didn't. Instead I asked for her name. Here name is Jina after store 10369 Atlantic Blvd Jacksonville florida...I said I would NEVER go back to that store I've be going to about 4 years plus maybe...Jina needs to be removed from customer service because she doesn't have any. All the managers do is breathe down your neck and follow you the whole time like you're stealing. Every aisle I moved to just looking for what products I may need I hear breathing down my neck With arms crossed following me . HOW UNCOMFORTABLE AND RUDE . This was my first time here and will never go back. Why should I feel like they think I'm stealing stalking me trying to find a lip gloss shade . I love this place. This store caters to every type of ethnic hair type. Wavy to tightly kinky are covered under one roomy location. This is the first store in Jacksonville that doesn't look like a hall closet. Nice roomy well organized aisles filled with every shade of cosmetics, colors of accessories, and beauty products. Men and women styling tools, perfume, body oils, haircare products, hair color, wigs/lacefront wigs (Outre, Sensationnel, Shake N Go, Freetress, MilkyWay, Model Model, Janet, and more), hair extensions, braid/bulk hair, hair pieces, clippers, skin care products, rollers, nail polish, children's barrettes, combs brushes, eyelashes, and everything else in one location. I had one of the best experiences on 8/11/23 while shopping at the Atlantic Blvd location. I was there for "one" hair care product, but left with a bag full of special surprises and product. I had the wonderful privilege of meeting Coco, the assistant mgr, Camellia and Madeline. As I mentioned above, I only wanted one product, but left with multiple items, how did this happen, because I was informed about their sale that I knew nothing about by Camellia and I was shown product that would benefit me. I thoroughly enjoyed these three young ladies, they were pleasant and took their time, I felt they cared. Coco, thank you for your recommendations and for helping me save money. Thank you again Camellia for sharing the sale flyer with me from the beginning and thank you Madeline for getting the little gift packages for the necklaces I purchased for my friend's niece birthday. This is why I travel approximately 15 minutes, passing other beauty stores, just to get to this location. Thank you for a great experience. read more

Horrible customer service experience at this location. I visited from out of town with my daughter. I had to ask twice for assistance in the wig department. There were 4 associates at the front desk when I asked the first time. The second time I asked someone yelled from the back saying "I'm on my way damn". I asked to speak to the manager. Why speaking with the manager, the same store associated started yelling at me in front of customers. Talking about she is 32 with 5 kids. How is this my issue? I'm not sure. Instead of the manager asking the employee to be removed from the sales floor. He just stood there. Yes, I called the associate out of her name but only after she was talking to me crazy. I then asked the manager for the customer service telephone number or the owner's telephone number. Silence. Business+Customer=Sales I will not be spending my money here! read more

I wanted to give ZERO but not an option. I went into the store on Atlantic Blvd in Jacksonville, Florida. Never been there but it was recommended by a friend. Had oriental lady helping me with wigs. Tried on several before settling on the one I liked. I tried on the one that was on the plastic head and it was fine. The oriental lady even brushed it without a problem. I decided on that one. Well, instead of the one I had tried on she went to the back of the store and brought out the same "looking" one as the one I wanted. I got home with it, took it out of the box at which time it must have lost 1/4 of its hair. I put it on my head and cut off the lace band.....nevertheless, when I put it on my head I had more hair on the floor than on the wig. I went back 1 day later to request a refund. Oriental lady was trying to speak to me from about 15 feet away. I refused to listen to her again and demanded a refund. I was rudely told that because I "wore" the wig it could not be returned. I then increased my voice tone and said he had better resolve this problem....which he refused...which I threw the wig behind the counter and said you are good at "bait and switch." He then proceeded to tell me we were being recorded and I said fine. He then said he was going to the police and I told him to do whatever he needed to do. I would handle it through my bank. They have high end virgin hair to your everyday braiding and synthetic hair to meet every budget level or quality you want. The store interior is as classy as they come. It's spacious with an open concept that's well lit. Their jewelry section is one of a kind and has so many different types of accessories for all different occasions. I brought a virgin hair closure 18" for $72. Once my stylist dyed the hair it became very dry & frizzy. I have worn closures before & this has never happened before. I usually would order my hair offline but I didn't have time to wait for it to come. So I decided to buy it out of the store. I notified the manager and he refused to exchange it. He told me I didn't know how to take care of it but I only had it for less than 24 hours. I felt insulted and I would never spend my money there again. read more

Absolute hideous customer service. The employee was rude to us right in front of the owners and they did nothing. I even asked them if they would let her talk to us like that with no repercussions, they looked at me like I was crazy. Very rude worst customer service , wont give out prices on phone but it's on website.

I ordered crochet hair from this company online. My order was a total of $42.26, including $14.26 in shipping which is already a little steep. The packs read the correct color and lengths. Upon getting it installed PROFESSIONALLY (which is important to note) my stylist informed me that the hair was longer than labeled and my desired style would not be achieved. I contacted Beauty Depot and informed them of the issue and started the refund process. I was blindly hit with a $10 fee to purchase a return label for the defective products, when initially I was told it can come out of my refund. When the hair was received by the company they denied a refund for the open packs. Well obviously I had to open the packs to see that they were defective. I was told that they can ship the "non refundable" hair back for another fee of $4.11. I wasn't going to give this company another penny. In the end I received a refund of $11.97, which is technically only $1.97 considering I paid $10 for shipping a second time. Horrible service only concerned with getting customers money. read more

I had a very bad experience with Beauty Depot. First of all, the customer service was so bad when I came ti this store on Atlantic of Jacksonville, Florida. they were not helpful at all. Had to beg them to show me the wigs. The light of the store is very poor... So I hardly could find out if the color of a wig matched me or not... The store is situated in a very dodgy, scary area. The quality of the wig appear to be bad, from what I discovered later when I came home. When I came a day later asking to return my money back as I am not happy with this product, they refused to do so. Will NOT recommend Beauty Depot! read more

Absolutely horrible customer service! I have called them numerous times to see why my package has not yet been delivered and they almost always failed to pick up. The one time they did pick up, I was put on hold before I was even able to explain my reason for calling and then hung up on. Their packages DO NOT arrive on time for some reason. At least that was the case for me. Would not recommend it if you want your hair on time and/or want to be able to speak to a customer service rep. if anything goes wrong! Absolutely hated it they did not refund me when asked for a refund emailed several times but nobody responded I had to call them and their excuse was that they had to pay ups to recover the package which was more than the fee, I had paid $68 for shipping and the goods cost $49. I don't see how the cost of returns is more than my total bill I would never order from them again just a waste of time and money if ordering from anywhere outside the United States this is definitely not the place to order from.
