I've been coming to this salon since I found them on groupon about a year ago. I was searching for new places (as I normally do) when I discovered this well priced groupon for a gel mani pedi. I decided to buy and the rest is history. The salon is located on the second floor of a large shopping plaza. When I went it was difficult to find since the plaza itself is currently under construction. It still is under construction but not as messy. I have been going to Leysa for my nails since then. She is great! Very attentive to detail. She makes sure the nail looks perfect and the polish is on nicely. She also on occasion has offered to do small designs on my nails which have come out on point. The prices are affordable and I have kept up with my nails because of her. I am so happy to have found this salon. The other manicurists are just as good but since I became comfortable with Leysa I have gone to her alone ever since. read more

I been coming to Beauty Essence salon with my husband for the past 15 years of my life and I always receive excellent services there directly from the owner Sara Manis. Sara is our family hair dresser and wax specialist for all of our individual needs. She is always polite, customer service oriented and very professional in what she does. I also do my nails at her salon with one of her nail technicians name Leysa, she also does a great work when doing my gel nails as you can appreciate on this picture. Overall, this salon is a one stop salon where you can get all your beauty needs covered at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them! read more

I live locally and came to use a manicure pedicure Groupon that my daughter gave me as a gift. Had to come back two times, both times to be refused service, they treated me as if I was trying to steal from them by accusing me of using the gift certificate twice. I can't believe I was never given the service my daughter paid for AND was treated so rudely. I will NEVER frequent this business again. I've been in Miami longer than I care to think of for what started out as a 1 week business trip in January. In DIRE need of my regular Brazilian wax and lash lift, to Groupon I went. Groupon can be a hit or miss but a great way to for area newbies to check out a business at a great price. Thankfully, Diana was not a miss... after a few easy text exchanges, I booked a Brazilian. The service - incredibly comfortable, fast and thorough. A few days later, I was in again for a lash lift. Even showing up 30 minutes late because of the rain, Diana was kind and took her time with my lashes. I was so relaxed after sitting in Miami traffic for an hour that I fell asleep for the 1 hour service. I woke up to perfectly lifted lashes and rested! Ashley is great! Friendly meticulous and clean. She knows her stuff but i got a "matching mani pedi" it's far from matching although i love both colors they don't look good together. I happened upon this well hidden secret salon when I recently purchased a Groupon for a gel mani/ regular pedi. Everything was very clean and everyone was very friendly. Ashley was my manicurist, and was great. She is super professional and so delightful to chat with. I love how my nails turned out, and will definitely be back and refer others to her. FYI, the salon cannot be seen at street level. You must take an elevator by Pet Supermarket to the 2nd floor. read more

Where do i even begin. I had purchased a groupon from here for a massage about 2-3 years ago and i have been crazy trying to figure out the name of this place because my experience was one of a kind but could never remember the name. I recently purchased another groupon but for a mani/pedi and the minute i walked in i knew the place looked super familiar and it did because this is the same place i came for my massage 3 years ago and the same guy was still there. I asked my manicurist his name and if he was the only one who gave massages, she told me the gentlemen is the owners husband and that although he was a male he was very respectful. I had to bite my tongue and just nod my head because respectful he wasn't. He touched me very inappropriately on my chest area when giving me this massage years ago and the amount of oil he used was completely unnecessary. Once my massage was over, he had taken off his shirt apparently and placed it back on once he finished, i literally felt as if i was being violated and taken advantage of. The uncomfortableness i felt was like none before. I left there traumatized about ever getting another massage especially with a male. However, to talk about my most recent experience with my manicurist, she was very very nice and did a great job . She was so concentrated while doing my nails and took her time to make sure they came out perfect. read more

Had a groupon that was given to me as a gift, I used it, then I bought same groupon myself a couple months later. I made appointment and told them I had a groupon, once I arrived lady told me that I already had used groupon in the past and cannot use again. She told me it didn't matter, if I had received as a gift or not. You would think they would've said ok, but no she just said sorry. Honestly this place is OK for manicure and pedicure services, but watch out girls, don't jump to the hairstylist there, specially JOSE, my experience with him was traumatizing, still not sure if he has a license cause he was unable to show it to me. Got a Groupon and tried to go for the first time. Spoke to Debbie try to move my appt to a later time for that day. Only available appt was for 3:15. I mentioned I couldn't make it that late but then told her to put me down because I was going to change my other plans. She then cancelled my morning appt and never put me for the 3:15 spot I asked for and left me a voicemail telling me both the 11:45 appt that I originally had and the 3:15 I asked her to move me to was all booked all in the time span of 30 min from the time I spoke to her. If you are going to give such a hard time you can keep your buisness!!! read more

Will never come again!! Hairstylist did not know what she was doing completely messed up my hair!! Left there with orange and white hair!! Extremely disappointed, left right away and went To another salon where they color corrected my hair, she was completely lost and kept asking her manager what she should do, I was there for 5 hours with horrific results, she told me she had 30 years of experience! When calling and making an appointment make sure you ask for a stylist that's capable of knowing what to do. My scalp is red and burned. I would give it zero stars if i was able to. read more

THEY DENIED TO MAKE ME AN APPOINTMENT because me very first time there to take my grandma to get her nails done I made it late. They called me to confirm and I couldn't here anything when I answered the phone because of bad signal. I called to make and appointment for myself and they lied and told me they had no availability for a month? Then I said I'll take that appointment and then she told me oh I remember you were late sorry I can't make an appointment for you and you hung up on me? So rude and disrespectful. She did not want to make an appointment for me because I was late once? And she had an additude over the phone. This salon is outdated and the workers are so rude. Went once over 2 years ago never went back. The salon is ugly the workers unprofessional and it's always empty. I'm surprised THERE STILL IN BUSINESS. If I can give them 0 stars I would, suggest you skip this salon cause honestly it's a HASSLE. I bought a Groupon one for me and one for my mother. I was super excited to go and get my nails done before my graduation and I booked the appointment and everything... than I get a phone call saying "ooo you've cancelled twice we need to redeem the voucher now" I was speaking to the owner told her MAYBE I've been to this place I don't recall because it's been a while. She proceeds telling me if I've been here before I can't use the Groupon... i was like MAYBE... I don't really remember if I did so why are you accusing me of coming before. I'm just curious on how is she so certain that I was there before. I told her maybe I came I don't recall because I'm a local and I've been to main places. I just find it funny how she was just arguing non stop whether I should come or not. She said if my ladies remember you we will decline your voucher .... I used a Groupon the first time for a mini massage, mani-pedi, and a blowout. Everything was good. i made another appointment to have my hair colored. While the owner was coloring my hair, she received a call and told the person that she would be ready for him in 40 minutes! Then she forgot about me as she talked to a few of her employees. My coloring job was rushed all the way through the blowout and styling. Never again! read more
