If you are a fan of the Japanese affordable, "drug store" brand Canmake, this is definitely the place to go if you're not close by to Tokyo Central. The stock for Canmake make up and skincare goods is definitely much more well stocked and diverse than what is in Rowland Heights. I got the "aegyo sal"/shiny tear liner that I've been trying to find for awhile and I also got some nice mascara as well. They also carry other brands such as the widely loved Ishizawa Lab Nadeshiko sheet masks, face wash, etc products and the cute Country & Stream lip care items. I honestly still think that Shibuyala has the wider breadth of variety also by virtue of being the bigger store, but if you can't find it there, Takashima is you're next best bet to hit up. I've…read morebeen going to Dr Yu for YEARS and I am still just as obsessed as I was the first day that I walked in. Dr Yu is not just a Dr, he's an artist and takes so much pride in doing a job well done. It's nice knowing he won't let a single person leave without them feeling totally satisfied and beautiful. Everyone who works the front desk is so nice and kind too. They always greet you when you walk in, say bye when you leave and answer all of your questions. I love this place so much and writing this review is making me want to go back this second! I also just read in another review someone commenting on easy to locate, plenty of parking and a beautiful waiting area. I don't normally think of the logistical things, but I can second all of that!
