I have been going to Elase for about 10 years and have always had the membership plan. I actually loved going here before it was sold. It is very expensive compared to most other med spas, however I have always had great service until they sold to it to a new owner. I have felt like they try to up sale every single thing they can and it's actually very uncomfortable. My last appointment was on December 13th at the new Herriman location at that appointment they tried to pressure me into doing more Botox units than I have ever done and in places I don't normally do, and I did it and left feeling annoyed and decided to cancel my membership and find a new place as there are a million med spas to choose from. It has now been 2 months since my appointment and my Botox has completely worn off. I have ALWAYS been able to go at least 4 months between appointments and it has NEVER worn off this fast. I feel like either I was given expired product or not as much as I paid for. Definitely make sure they show you the exact units they are injecting and if you don't want to pay over $12 a unit there's a lot of really great med spas that offer Botox for $9-$10 a unit and don't pressure you into to doing more or ask you to tip.

They would not honor a gift certificate that did not have a written expiration date anywhere on it…read more(despite their being a place for it) after a year. They said their certificates expire a year after being issued but that was never mentioned when it was purchased and they failed to write it on the certificate itself. They should take accountability for their employee not writing an expiration date and honor the certificate as is. Now they just get to keep the money. It's despicable and frankly, illegal. Don't give them your money. Utah Code Ann. §13-11-4(2)(v) Makes it a violation of the Utah Consumer Sales Practices Act to issue a gift certificate that has an expiration date without disclosing the expiration date on the gift certificate or its packaging.
